Random thoughts... First off, I couldn't be more impressed with Cotter, the dude is an amazing drummer...and it's only been 2 gigs. Imagine where he'll be after 20 or 30 shows and beyond? As a DeadHead I witnessed Brent's first tour, and as an PeachHead I witnessed Jack Pearson's and Oteil's first tour with the Allman Brothers Band. There are adjustments, but Cotter already looks extremely comfortable and the guys are feeding off his energy. He's multi-rhythmic, Jazzy and holds the pocket extremely well - he's killing it already. Secondly, Rick's tone has smoothed out nicely with the two Fender Twins added to his rig. He was searching for his sound for the past 2 or 3 tours, now he's got something he can work with. His clean tones are airier, his overdrive is sweeter and he's back to using the drippy and ambient delay pedals more often like he did 3 years ago. So glad he made those changes. He was cutting through the mix beautifully with a variety of pickup choices and effects. Last night's highlite had to be Rosewood Heart. Wow, it was all there. The Jam section was a stunning, patient slow build into Mixolydian Madness at it's peak. Rick was a monster during Rosewood. He kept finding new phrasings that really showed off his updated tone. Peter was amazing all night as usual... All in all a very solid, very tight and very creative Night 2. Yes, there was Synch issues with the stream, but hey, stuff happens. Maybe the eclipse knocked things out of whack. Lol. The sound mix was clearly better than opening night. Its a process. I'm definitely stoked for tonight! The sky is indeed the limit for these guys... Enjoy! 😎🔥😎
@@andrewnieboerYes, it certainly does. Rick now has that foundation to build tone centers any way he sees fit. Fender amps take pedals very well by giving the player lots of headroom. Rick's Mesa Boogie heads he was using the past year and a half were a bit brittle so he struggled to fund ambient clean tones to build off of. He's cutting through the mix even when he's engaging the neck pickup which is so nice. He was clear as a bell and his use of delay was absolutely brilliant. He had so much depth and airy-ness. As a guitar player myself, I was loving it...
Since you know so much technical stuff, any idea what happened with Rick's vocorder during the vocals of Into the Myst? Was he playing the wrong notes or was the setting messed up? It was super out of tune going into the chorus.

Any guitarists here who could break down what Peter is playing during into the mist? I just got an echo/delay peddle and would love to be able to jam to that but I can never figure out exactly what and how he’s playing. All his echo rhythmic playing is so fun.

My favorite Goose show since the Riv last year. May be my favorite show of all-time.
Love this show so much. Brilliant!
Rosewood heart may be my favorite jam I’ve seen them play live

Rick's tone sounds amazing!
He was absolutely soaring through Into the Myst

It's a joy to hear the music they've been blessed to create
Amen!! Christian & big time Goose fan :)
I just threw up in my mouth
Thank you soooo much for always posting your shows on RUclips ! It means the world to me! See you live in Denver and possibly Atlanta! 😊🤩🎉

The Start of the 2nd set is Awesome!!
Interlude iii to jive ii is just 🔥
THANKS FOR EVERY THING BROES😇💗💓💛💥💫💦💣🙏
Finally starting this one, after listening to night 1 over the last few weeks on my meal break, looking forward to June 29 just under 2 months now 😀
I've been through all 4 nights of the cap a bunch of times and this is the one I love.
The groove starting at 56:51 is so fkn' good!
Looking forward to this being reuploaded with the video and audio properly synced.
thought i was the only one experiencing this x(
They just reuploaded
1:46:36 Rosewood
1:08:33 Lead the Way
Interlude 3 into Jive 2 is really just, it's just so damn good.
Brilliant 🎉
Into the myst into arcadia was off the hook. The energy in there last night was incredible. 42 minute mark you can see Cotter throwing it down.
Unbelievable solo, I get chills listening to it again
Fucking sick...that is all I have to say.
That hot tea though
Gotta love Dr. Darkness. ✌️😁☮️
downtempo Arcadia swing ✨🔥✨✨🔥✨✨✨
Hell yeah that's what I was thinking. The groove starting at 56:51 is so good!
That Jive Lee, damn!!
I wish I could share this in my FB group. It was so great being there live!!

Hey there! try setting your delay pedal to a dotted 1/8 note, tap the tempo, and play quarter notes on your guitar! It's super fun!
Thank you so much!!! You guys rock!!!

I actually had quite a lovely thought about that cutie. Later that night, she very much agreed.
