The problem with Marvel's choices of 'inexperience directors" is that they're all political activists. People don't go to movies to be lectured politically. They watch movies to escape reality, not to be beaten over the head with someone else's twisted version of it.
Exactly. This is where I'd think all movie goers would agree political or not. Movies just have to be entertaining and at least stick with you, who the hell actually wants to be lectured?

The Russo brothers weren't exactly household names when they did The Winter Soldier. They only had one movie, You Me and Dupree (terrible movie) on their resume along with some commercials and TV episodes. But, like you said, the movie was written so well that it gave them the blueprint to make a great movie. From inexperienced to household names in a flash.
They are charging towards a cliff edge, everyone is screaming warnings at them, they could turn, they could stop, but no. They are charging forward, for some unknown reason.

The inexperienced Director can go 50/50. If the Director doesn't respect the medium or isn't professional enough to give it the respect it deserves despite his/her personal view on it then it could easily go South. On the flipside an inexperienced Director might try their best to make it into something great.

You know it's amazing when the critical drinker’s video about The Marvels flopping in the box has more views than the actual movie’s trailer itself on RUclips.
I think you are both right in your own ways about the 'inexperienced director' argument. The issue is, and this has been the case for years, Disney have not been hiring based on either current skill or perceived potential skill. They have been _casting_ people behind the camera just like in front of the camera.
This is why the writing has been AWEFUL in all their projects for years. Everyone, from writers to producers to directors, have not been hired, they have been _casted_ .

The very best MCU movies from the past were well written, based on popular comic book story lines and directed by really great directors like the Rouso brothers. The past few years were the complete opposite of what made their movies great….on purpose no less. After watching Avengers Infinity War, I was really excited about the possibility of epic Fantastic Four and X-men movies…I’m really glad Disney Marvel is imploding right now because I don’t want to see a silly, goofy MSheU treatment of these characters.

This is pretty much the end for the MCU. I don't see how they can recover without another Spider-Man movie or bringing back legacy characters like RDJ. The problem is, doing that cheapens Iron Man's death.
