When it comes to conquest, it seems he forgot Russia's third ally: the Church. While it gave its blessing to many a war fought by the Russian Empire, it was almost non-existent under Soviet rule. But now, after 1991, the Russian Orthodox Church regained its ground and Patriarch Kirill keeps true to the tradition - he is among the most vocal supporters of the war in Ukraine. As a Orthodox Christian, this is not who we actually are and the Patriach in Moscow does NOT represent us.
The Patriarch of Moscow is only the leader of the Russian Orthodox Church. Judging by your name, you must be Serbian and you have a different patriarch. All Patriarchs of the Orthodox Church including the highest one, Ecumenical Patriarch of Constantinople Bartholomew I , have separated themselves from the Russian Church whom they consider to have split from the faith.

The fact is that Gundyaev has ceased mentioning the Ecumenical Patriarch in prayers as well as a few other Primates, who have recognised the autocephalous Church of Ukraine, -- unilaterally.
