  • Daytona Bike Week - Loading the bikes, our schedule, and one last minute install! It's a mad rush to Daytona! We load the bikes in our ‪@HeartlandRVs1‬ Fuel 305, share everyplace you can meet us (besides the Cacklebery where we will be staying) and do a last minutes install of one of my favorite products, a ‪@GetKlocked‬ Windshield!

As for the battery on the toy hauler.. Maybe a solar trickle charger? Add a solar panel big enough for it on the roof or even temporary mount on the tongue for when its sitting and just run the wire down to the charger near the battery.

I used cheap straps when I moved from SC to MO. My Ninja and 883 had no issues. The straps loosened up on my FXBBS and when I opened the trailer the only thing holding my bike upright was the wheel chock. Anyone who has drive i24 between Nashville and Paducah in the past few years knows about the dips. I'm surprised that bike wasn't upside down. Bought some high quality straps and sent a thank you email to the company that makes my chocks.

Some information not many know about that haul bikes. Look up ENDLESS LOOP RATCHET STRAPS. These are commercial ratchet straps built better and less than half price of box store or dealership straps. They have no hooks to come loose as the end goes back into the drum then you take slack out then ratchet down. You can get to as close as approximately 3-1//2 inches from attachment point to attachment point because there are no hooks taking up space. You can order it in the lengths you want and width.
