    Good topic people really dont know and every state doesn't require uninsured or underinsured motorist coverage.

    How are you paying that little per month with full coverage? I have a clean record with a similar car and with full coverage (not even maxed out liability) I would be paying 100 a month with Geico
    I wasn't going to bundle but maybe that's the big saver because I'm using 1000 deductible in my quote.

    Good video. I'm paying $60.89 with USAA for a 2008 Honda in Louisiana, just liability w/ $250 deductible. Will go to max deductible once I finish full emergency fund. So yeah definitely get the highest deductible once you have the emergency fund to cover it.

    • @DebtFreeMillennials
      @DebtFreeMillennials  4 года назад +1

      Awesome! Yes maxing out that deductible will def help you with your premium costs.

      @@livingunashamed4869 when i maxed out my deductible specifically on collision coverage, there was a $370 annual difference! That's a BIG swing in premium costs. Highly recommend you look at maxing out your deductible on collision.

    Recently swapped insurance companies to have slightly better coverage. Dropped from $106 to $73.33 in Alabama. Full coverage with $1000 deductible.

    • @DebtFreeMillennials
      @DebtFreeMillennials  4 года назад

      How long have you been driving? Unfortunately, if you are a new driver, you'll have the highest premium costs because you haven't had enough driving history. A good way to combat this would be to get on someone else's policy (like your parents or combining with a partner who has a good driving record)

    if let's say i purchase a car insurance through gabi, and i pay for 6 months, do i have to call my previous car insurance to cancel my old insurance so i dont pay double, or does gabi do it for me and i dont have to call my old insurance to cancel it.
    and lets say one day in march i pay for my old car insurance , and then the next day i find out about gabi, and want to buy a different car insurance. The money that i paid the day before in march, will i get that money refunded or will it be used for the car insurance that i bought the next day through gabi, or will i have lost that money for that month?

    • @DebtFreeMillennials
      @DebtFreeMillennials  4 года назад +1

      How long have you been driving for? How old is your car? there's honestly so many factors that go into your premium. Also, make sure you look at those changes to the deductible and that could help lower your premium.
