I can see this being used in a Napoleonic game between same side officers having an argument that results in a duel. Of course their commander must not find out about the duel lest they face reprimands! Or, perhaps the duelists are from opposite sides and deal personal insults on the battlefield that calls for a face-saving duel, like on Sharpe! Could be a fun little side game in between regular campaign combat. 😊
Forget all the Bolt Action, or 40K replay videos online; I just love the little gems you find and share. I knew of these rules and honestly had no interest in them. And now I need to get them. There are some real subtleties and clever ideas in these rules. Never would have known except for your videos. (And yeah - can't wait for those D&D map fights! Terrain always, always makes things much more interesting)
I just did a google image search for D&D maps until I found something that worked. Printed at like 75% scale to make my 15mm figs work with it. That's all.
Interesting set of rules and captures some of the tension to the buildup of the actual trigger pull in a duel. Thanks for posting.

The more you go through these rules the better they look, and I was interested after the first video.

Thanks, man. It's so much fun to uncover these little diamonds in the rough.

Dear Mr. Wargaming,
I kindly ask you to let us know where you git those colored maps. The once in my pdf-document of the rules are black and white :(
