I live an hour from Faylor Lake, and when I was new, I decided to make the trip out there because its a well rated course in my vicinity. It has ruined all other courses after that, because it is just undeniably the best course I've ever played
The Regulator is my home course, it’s both incredibly fun and challenging at the same time. It’s also open to the public full time and free to play! There are 3 courses at the park too, so I would definitely make the trip to Burlington if you can to play each course.
Look up Caliber in Sandpoint Idaho. Best course I’ve played and I’ve played 10 to 15 courses on UDisc’s top 100 courses. The owner is close to having a 2nd course on the property called Mother Load.
Worth mentioning that Uspastorp is located 5 minutes away from Ale Disc Golf Center, maybe the best locationin sweden. Great trip to go play them both!
You're missing out if you've never been to Highbridge Hills in Wisconsin. 5 courses in one location, hosted 2007 worlds. Some changes are being made so go play it as soon as you can.
And while you're in the area be sure to make some other stops at Justin Trails Disc Golf Resort in Sparta WI, Standing Rocks DCG in Stevens Point WI, and Sandy Point DGC in Lac Du Flambeau WI. Most of these courses are within a 3 hours drive (some even less) from Blue Ribbon Pines. BRP is so much fun to play, it's even open all winter long with plowed fairways.
Walked the entire Rock Creek watching the ladies this summer. It is a magnificent course. Some nice fairways, hard woods shots and some that look easy but if your just a little off you are in big trouble. Great course
2 Hot Geese over at JomezPro did a great practice round with Eveliina walking you through. ruclips.net/video/SWIboKNPf8E/видео.html I could do the course using my trusty Mako 3 and a Banger GT. Bring your control discs, booming drives are not required to score well.@@wildrunsdiscgolf
Amazimg list of courses to visit! As I am currently in a snow-covered landscape at the moment, this showed me the light at the end of the tunnel. I wish the location was shown with the course name, as I had to Google the majority of courses featured here just to find where they are. I can't wait until spring arrives! Thanks for the vid✌️
Pueblo City Park is a cool course. My favorite hole is a narrow throw between tall trees, over a valley, and the hole is on the other side next to a tree. I was also told it was designed by Steady Ed, the inventor of disc golf
Yes to Zephyr Cove! I went out west to visit Lake Tahoe several years ago and realized I discovered a hidden gem. I never hear people talk about. Despite living next to Idlewild, Zephyr Cove is probably the course that blew me away more than any other I've played/seen.
Silver Creek in WI.. Free to play, 36 hole course, 18 hole pro layout, course meets up with Lake Michigan. Not many highly rated courses that have that!
Harvest fields in boalsburg Pa is a must if you're in the area. Agape Farms also in pa. Also not surprised to see faylor made it. One of the best courses I've ever played
Great video! If you ever make a follow-up video to this, consider adding Brooktrails in Northern CA. Absolutely breathtaking views among the giant redwoods
We did a KC trip this summer and in my opinion, Bad Rock was much better than Black Hoof. I live close enough to Eagle's Crossing to play it a few times and definitely would consider it a bucket list course. It's not a course I'd want to play every day, but a couple times a year is pretty epic. I've also played the Wild Times wooded course there and would say that it's pretty great and some would say better than the OG course...that said, if I were passing through and could only play one, I'd for sure choose the original course for the epicness of it all. Splurge for the cart...you're already paying a lot for the experience, might as well make it even more enjoyable and less tiring.
I certainly have a bias towards black hoof cause its in my home town. I thought bad rock was already pretty well known so i wanted to pick something more unique for a kc course. Im glad to hear that the EC wooded course is sick!
@@wildrunsdiscgolf I think its personal taste. I live in the middle of all the KC courses and I prefer Black Hoof, but I also see a lot of issues with black hoof that hopefully get fixed soon. (Too many small / blind trees in the fairways, gun range, etc.)
Fantastic video! I’ve played over 120 courses in the US and north cove is in my top 3. Whenever I bring someone there, it usually goes straight to the top of their favorites.
Sugaree best course in disc golf and been established almost 20 years.. north cove pops up in 2 years 30 mins south and has a higher rating, blows my mind. Also if your into unique mtn course check out the upgrades Simple Pleasures is getting!
If someone is traveling to the European Open this year make sure to go play "Tampereen frisbeegolfkeskus" course. It's a 15-20 min drive east from Nokia where EO is hosted.
@wildrunsdiscgolf mountain course, on site Christmas tree farm, by far the most unique and picturesque putting greens on any course I've ever seen. Earlier this year, went to North Cove, which is great and through Asheville>smokies>back up through to Idlewild, played 9 different 4.5* or above courses. Drove back 8 hrs again in october and stayed near NoCove.. we skipped it and played Sugaree twice instead.
I play both regularly - I wouldn’t say sugaree is “better” than north cove. Way more extreme challenges and tight lines for sure. North cove is very well maintained and has a lot of extra features- pro shop, bathrooms, 3 courses, restaurant, golf carts on gorge. They’re both great in their own right. “10x better” is quite the stretch.
Speaking to Oregon courses: Milo Mciver is so much better than Pier Park especially in the BSF layout. If you play in Oregon make sure to play Milo, Hornings Hideout (Meadows Ridge course they have 3) and Whistlers Bend. But, yes, Pier is a gem.
The only disagreement I have is BRP. Idk if I bought into the hype too much or what, but it was so meh for me. The holes are very much repetitive and there is nothing special. Personally I'd swap out BRP for Lake Marshall.
Yeah I think its a course thats potentially overhyped and at least for me, somedays wooded courses just arent fun cause its a constant test of accuracy rather than just letting it rip
I think this might be too Pro focused. What are the best courses for amateurs? With that, I want to put "Flip City" in Shelby, Michigan. It is too short for Pros, but every shot is so lovely.
Check out Gran Canyon in Brooksville FL. Home to the best course in Florida and Paul McBeth's new course. I'm excited to see this course on tour next year at the Florida Open
@@wildrunsdiscgolf Awesome 👍 Would you be in a position to come next year for the European tour? I think that if the tour gets the proper media coverage, it will surely make huge waves when it comes to course design in Europe vs US. And as you said too, there are some fantastic courses in the US!

Couldn’t get past #4. Do you always talk that fast or did you speed up the audio track? So distracting! Appreciate the effort but just couldn’t take it. Sorry.
No worries, I do like to get my information out without any wasted time so I remove my breaks when im pausing for breaths or research. I actually recorded 75 min of commentary and reduced it to this 20ish min video.
Caliber disc golf course Sandpoint idaho
Eagles Crossing rules. Best course I’ve ever played.
I live pretty close to it. I’m not sure how I’ve never been

Caliber DGC
Sandpoint, Idaho
Worth mentioning that Uspastorp is located 5 minutes away from Ale Disc Golf Center, maybe the best locationin sweden. Great trip to go play them both!
Toboggan should be on here…. No where can even come close to comparing to that’s course’s elevation. It’s so unique
Dang you are so right. I kinda tried not to include pro tour courses but Toboggan is epic
Simple Pleasures=NC version of Tobaggon?
Steve Braud is the guy who designed Faylor Lake. The guy is disc golf. Go give him some love @ OTB East, his latest venture.

Quarries in Websterville, VT ftw
I played Maple Hill this past summer. It was surreal to play a course I'd seen so much online. It lived up to the hype.
Walked the entire Rock Creek watching the ladies this summer. It is a magnificent course. Some nice fairways, hard woods shots and some that look easy but if your just a little off you are in big trouble. Great course
I am almost nervous to play it knowing that I will get destroyed and I probably will lose a disc or two

Pier park is my home course. Definitely recommend if you're in the Portland area.I was surprised not to see Milo on here.
Whistler"s Bend, Roseburg Oregon 4.7 with 1300 ratings
Incredible views!
In my top lost. Great course.
Whistlers is the best
North Cove is a bucket lister.
Smugglers Notch is awesome both Brewster Ridge and Fox Run Meadows.
If someone is traveling to the European Open this year make sure to go play "Tampereen frisbeegolfkeskus" course. It's a 15-20 min drive east from Nokia where EO is hosted.
Sweden mentioned Uspastorp is basically my home course! EDIT: also btw åkeslund has fewer ratings since it's really new
Very cool! Sorry for absolutely butchering the pronunciation lol
I've thrown Maple Hill and Pier Park and those would be on my top ten. (I've thrown 400 courses) Planning on throwing Eagle's Crossing next year.
Boylan acre's Monrovia Indiana 2 courses one called extreme with 69 flights of stairs and ardruous which I just longer cours.
Wow even just the pictures on Udisc look insane
A hidden gem in Northern California is Lagoon Valley in Vacaville. Definitely worth checking out.
Lake Stephen’s in Surveyor, WV and Wildcat Bluff in Vinton, IA both amazing courses
Caliber in Sandpoint, ID
Having gone to North Cove.. look up 20 miles, Sugaree is ranked higher on udisc and 10x a better course. Its #25 or so, and should be higher..
Oh sweet. I will definitely check it out

I agree that Sugaree is a way better course than any of the 3 at North Cove. Harmon Hills in Fall Branch, TN too
Sugaree is the pinnacle of mtn disc golf! Hopefully Simple Pleasures and Sugaree will make the 2025 list
love the idea of this video - good stuff! but oh boy, you need some courses from Finland -> amazing what they do with disc golf up there!
Funny you say that, I’m actually in Finland right now and just played a course
That's awesome - must be a little cold this time of year though. Hope you have a good time!
Hunts Hideaway in Michigan is also a must!
Im lucky to live 30 mins from Faylor
I couldn't imagine casually playing a round there
Flip City in Shelby, MI. Showmen's in Tampa, FL.
You need to check out The Canyons at Dellwood in Lockport, IL and Flip City DGC in Shelby, MI. 2 of the best courses I've ever seen and played

Diamond X in Billings Montana is a must and Beaver Ranch west of Denver--
There’s a course in Aspen CO that costs 37$ also…it’s “free to play” but you need to take the gondola up and that costs 37
You want fun and unique, then you have to go and play Grand Vue Park, Moundsville, WV and DeLaveaga, Santa Cruz. Ca.
Mill creek and ducks pond in Michigan.
I think this might be too Pro focused. What are the best courses for amateurs? With that, I want to put "Flip City" in Shelby, Michigan. It is too short for Pros, but every shot is so lovely.
I definitely had that thought too. Pro/hard courses aren't necessarily fun courses
Add Playa Lucia in Puerto Rico on your list to check out. World class views
Sick recommendation! I love how unique each hole looks
Check out Gran Canyon in Brooksville FL. Home to the best course in Florida and Paul McBeth's new course. I'm excited to see this course on tour next year at the Florida Open
Definitely an awesome one
Not having the smuggs courses on this list is criminal!
Hecksher Park, Long Island. 😃😃😃
You can't have a list like this without mentioning Krokhol Disc Golf Course. It's located just outside of Oslo Norway. Ranked #2 on Udisc...
I honestly was going to include it but it felt a little too well known and my video was already getting long. Sick course

And as you said too, there are some fantastic courses in the US!
North Toledo Bend State Park in Louisiana
Wilderness Disc Golf Course Eureka MT - checks it out Quality
Any courses in the state of Georgia on this list
Nope, but amazing courses that I recommend in Georgia would be: Edward's Park (Dalton), Etowah (Cartersville), Hobbs Farm (Carrollton)
Foxtail Farm in Tonganoxie, KS is better than Bad Rock and Black Hoof imo. Check it out if you haven't, yet.
What about Canada???
I've played Thunderbird gardens and there's no shot variety
I stayed in Black Mountain for 2 weeks and didn’t hit North Cove… 🤦🏻♂️
No Flip City?!
I will definitely make a follow up!
Polipoli on maui
calden (Hes) Germany
No Krokhol??? Really??!!! 😛
Just because eMac won worlds doesn’t mean he’s a good designer
