"As a youth, what have you contributed so that you are spotted by the government?" I love the brilliance oozing from kisaame, the government should be credited over established projects and policies aimed at caring for the informal sector, including youths. It's on record that the government has unleashed so many programs partinently, youths livelihood program. Ylp, is an initiative that targeted youths, but the criteria was clear, for one to benefit it needs self positioning. I will blame the youths, the problem is we want direct benefit without laboring, let's strategize and position ourselves in a coordinate so that government can easily plot us into economic development. Than sleeping in rentles and congesting streets.
Many years for Education, is not a problem, in fact we are lucky that the geopolitics of uganda has created that environment. The problem is the youth who pretend to be learning but when they are not, you as an educated fellow, why would you go on streets looking for a job? Use the skills, knowledge and experience acquainted during the course of education to be creative and innovative. If you are that fellow on streets making noise on the same note, then you are uneducated. Education should be reflected through what you can do after the whole process.
You're very right my brother we spend a lot on education after sacrificing everything and at the end of the day we yield nothing when even 65% of the graduates end up as hawkers on streets and kcca also suffocated them. The other resort to being slaves in other countries 😢

Lastly, we deviated from the rationale of the program. "What is the position of the youths in the political arena"
By the way Kamukama is already playing his role as a youth by speaking up on behalf of other youths
