Go all out at this specialist beef cutlet restaurant! Located in Shinjuku, Kyoto Katsugyu uses the finest cuts of Japanese beef and deep fries them into crispy perfection aka ‘gyukatsu’. Their variety set features four cuts of beef: ribeye steak, beef tongue, beef tenderloin and chuck steak. Each one is battered, breaded and fried to order, ensuring a delicately crispy outside and tender, medium rare middle! Our absolutely favorite menu item, though, is the black wagyu cutlet set. The best of Japanese wagyu beef, thick-cut and juicy.
All sets come with barley rice, miso soup and various toppings and sauces to enjoy with the cutlets. From worcestershire sauce and wasabi to Japanese curry, you can make every bite different! You can even dip it in creamy egg yolk for an extra rich combination!
