You have the best bowling ball review channel out there. Thanks for reviewing the GB5, i was interested to see how it would roll off of your hand, seeing that we both throw with two fingers, no thumb. The motion of the ball kind of reminds me of a urethane bowling ball for some reason. I don't understand why the companies 80-90% nothing but strong bowling balls, knowing that most of the world bowls on house shots that aren't long and not heavy in oil. They should make the weaker bowling balls not so weak and/or focus on making more Medium oil bowling balls. Just my opinion. Thanks.
I would share that opinion personally, but the reality is if they’re not ahead of oil viscosity and volume, they’re behind. They have to push the envelope so that balls don’t suck after 30 games.
I'm speed dominant and can see how this ball is longer and a hair sharper than the GB4 Solid. I'm actually glad I pre-ordered this ball after your review.
Question for you regarding arsenals, I’m a 2 handed lefty and do my homework as much as I can, but what would you add to my arsenal if anything? Obsession Tour (box finish) Teal Rhino Pro (box), iQ Tour Solid (box), iQ Ruby (2000,5000) and Night-Road (2000,5000)
@@bowlersparadise2255 I feel I do worse with asymmetrical balls with my lower tilt. But my release isn't as strong as yours. All dull balls do read and burn up , and kill all back end energy though.

Glad to have helped!
My plan is to buy this ball specifically for tournament play. It's a ball that i wish i had in the last tournament that i played.
Well, it sounds like we’re on the same page then!
This ball has Matt Ogle pushing deep into the Masters. Y’all better wake up 🤙
Have you thrown the nu blue hammer? Just curious your thoughts on that ball
Did you ever have a fever pitch from storm?
Kind of like that.
Big urethane review coming soon.
the only symmetrical solid I've loved on a house shot is the storm axiom from a few years back - otherwise it's gotta be a pearl or asym
That ball and I did not get along either lol.

I'd add a shiny asym. Attention Star, Violent Collision, Outer Limits Pearl. Something along those lines.
@@bowlersparadise2255 you’re the best! Love the reviews
Reaction looks great! the GB4 hybrid is probably just better for a house shot?
I haven't even thrown the GB4 Hybrid and I can still guarantee you its better for house.
@@bowlersparadise2255 thanks!
Nice video. I’m throwing the GB4 hybrid, and looking for a good solid. What is your opinion of the optimum Idol, compared with the 5? Thanks
If you like the GB4 Hybrid, you're very likely going to enjoy the GB5 over the Optimum Idol.
I recommend hitting it with 3000 out of box it really helped with my Gb5
Do you think your low tilt has something to do with why you don't do well with strong cover symmetrical solids?
I know for a fact that's why I suck with them (on house shots)

Yeah this is 1000 percent a sport shot ball. Not anything special on a house shot but could be incredibly effective on heavy oil
Maybe one day I’ll have a symmetrical solid I can use on house lol
the new idol is money trust me XD@@bowlersparadise2255
