I rolled mine on the PBA Shark. Played up the 12 board. Rolled hard and fast... 669 series.. Now understand... I'm a frigging 187avg bowler. But I swear I could not miss on this long pattern. As for House shots.. I have been killing it. And I expect when league start again, my avg will be going up using this ball. I love it.
I was so looking forward to this review and you did not disappoint Ben. I don't have a hybrid in my arsenal and would like one to round mine out. Since I predominately only bowl on house shots this VIBE could be the answer. Thank you sir.
I purchase the Artic Vibe base on your recommnedation and it has been a great ball for me. I am a league bowler, stroker style and usually play the 2 arrow and starting on the 15 board. I like to try a asymetric ball and asking if a Black Widow 2.0 hybrid be a good ball to marry up with my Artic Vibe. Please keep continue with your great ball reviews.
@@bowlersparadise2255 Based off your review, I think I am going for a Trouble Maker Pearl. I was also considering a Sublime, but this ball looks great and has some great reviews. Thanks for your honest cross brand comparisons.
Any recommendations for a two hander for a post league lanes? After they’re burnt out? My ufo alert and summit take a while to break in the lane, so what ball would still hook hard on those post league patterns (oil all the way till the end of the lane)
im thinking of getting the dv8 chill pearl as my transition ball, do you think this arctic vibe would be a good step down ball from my chill pearl for later transitions in the lane?
I've got my eye on this one. I'm loving my new Evoke, but I'm considering a couple more balls for differing conditions. Would you think these two would be too similar? I noticed your infographic on the bottom right mentioned the Evoke, but I'd like to know your opinion personally, if you have a spare moment.
I think I those two would actually go really well together. The Evoke has a much stronger cover, but the two pieces like to shape similarly, so as more friction develops you can go from Evoke to Arctic Vibe. Would be a great 1-2 punch.
Do you think this ball can fit in the hands of a high rev 2 hander. Im thinking with more ball speed the backend reaction should be good for league shots
I know you said balanced bowlers, I am a high rev(500+), high speed(can get to 20-21off hand if needed) bowler. Never know if that mean I'm more balanced or more rev dominate since I can also bring speed down. I'm considering this or the kaboom. Thanks
Although your game is high powered, I’d still call that balanced. 20mph and 500rpm is a great place to be, and this one will be generally more usable for you than the Kaboom.
I Have the Radioactive Vibe 14 Pound Ball in My Bag. The Only Thing I Don’t Like About the Bowling Ball is the Color. And When I Went to the Pro Shop to Pick One UP, They Were Out of the 15 Pound Ball. So I Picked UP the 14 Pound Ball Instead. But I’m Gonna Add the Hammer Arctic Vibe Ball to My Bag to Replace the Radioactive Bowling Ball
I am a one handed no thumb bowler like you. About 16mph at the pins but very rev dominant. I'm struggling on a fresh house shot as my Hustle M+M isn't strong enough but my Radical Hitter is too much. Looking hard at this and the new fireball to help me on the fresh. Any thoughts? Also, I have a IQ Tour edition that I just dont match well with no matter what surface I use. Thanks Ben!
I want it so bad but I know it won't play well at my house, any ball recommendations on a house shot with really old lane surface? Staying in the oil plays pretty good but the dry is DRY, if I miss right it doesn't matter the ball or the angle it goes through the face.
Man, I have the ocean @ 5 x 4 x 2.5 and have tried it will all types of surface changes and get very little hook out of the ball. Do you think the HK22 additive and white pigment will give this vibe what’s missing to really give it a stronger boom off the spot ?
Hey! Amature bowler here. I recently found my stepdad's old hammer vibe bowling ball and looked up reviews to find this. I'm not sure what exactly the kind of ball this is, as it's probably from 2012, but do you think it'd still be a good option or better than the house balls? Sorry if you're annoyed by a comment on a 3 month old video, but you seem to know what you're talking about.
Hey bud. Always happy to field questions. Short answer is that it'll definitely be better than a house ball (as long as its not cracked), but don't expect too much out of it. Bowling ball technology has changed tremendously in the last 12 years, so it might not do too much, but is an upgrade from the normal house ball.
Speed varies based on what I’m trying to do. I never really use it as a metric as I know off my hand if it’s fast or slow, but not any specific numberss

That’s awesome! Love to hear that!
Just got this drilled and through my first 700 series with it. 100% house shot killer.
Awesome! Congrats my friend!
Great ball review. Your ratio of pertinent information vs elapsed time is the best!!!
Glad you enjoy them my friend!
It's a very good looking ball, I already have an ocean vibe, maybe get one of these for My wife see how she likes it on the houseshots
FWIW, I think if you like the ocean vibe, you’ll absolutely love this one.
And for $104, it might be worth having one for you and your wife.

Always appreciate the kind words my friend. 💙
I have the Radioactive but think this might be a touch cleaner. The ball looks great on both the shelf and the lanes.
I wish I would have gotten a radioactive because I am super curious how different they are. Nevertheless, I know this one is pretty awesome.

I like it but Idk if I like it enough. But I love the review.
At least we got something right lol
You really matched up well with this one. This seems like a lot of ball for the money.
Hard to beat this performance per dollar for sure.

😢 I miss the jigsaw😢
This thang might be better than Hammer expected! 🤔
Agreed!
Are you bowling on fresh oil?

@bowlersparadise2255 excellent! Might have to pick one up for myself then.
How different a look does this give over the radioactive vibe?
Do you think this ball can fit in the hands of a high rev 2 hander. Im thinking with more ball speed the backend reaction should be good for league shots
I think so! I don’t have a huge rev rate but I can guarantee you this will be in my league bag next year.
Packy reviewed it on the House channel and shot 300 with it.

Would this ball be a good ball for playing straighter angles on the dry?
Doubtful. This one doesn’t seem like a dry lanes kind of piece really at all.

Outer Limits Pearl could be good. iQ tour ruby, hyper venom and ethos could also work well.

HK22 additive definitely makes a difference. The radioactive vibe has it and it out hooks some mid and high performance pieces

Ben, i was curious what your PAP was?
I believe it’s 5.5” over and 1.25” down.
@@bowlersparadise2255 mine is the same, definitely even more helpful to know while watching your reviews! Awesome, thank you
Came for the review stayed for the puns!
Amen brotha.
So how would this be on a shorter pattern?
Good if you’re willing to throw it at the gutter.
Play the lanes the same way as you what is you average speed?
Speed varies based on what I’m trying to do. I never really use it as a metric as I know off my hand if it’s fast or slow, but not any specific numberss
I like it
Do u think this is a benchmark ball
I think it could be for a house shot. Probably not for a tournament arsenal.
Why does this ball so much cheaper?
🤷♂️
