Note from me:If you are using beta version of steamOS like me then you need to instal prerealese otherwise it wont show up
Mine still wont show up on game mode. I downloaded it with Firefox originally with not doing the second step. I then realized i missed the step and wiped it off and tried it again and still nothing
You can try setting a sudo password manually and see if that works
Idk if u still need help, but try installing the prerelease version of decky. It fixed it for me
