This looks nice. My costume phantom was much larger (due to not having the head piece) it’s 10 studs wide at the wings, plus several hinge joints and a few bracket 1X2 tiles to give a lot of texture. It is big but it looks really great especially with the amount of posing it’s got.
Hey! You should make a player base module with stuff on the outside. There could be a mob farm, an afk machine or some other distinct player-made structure
that navy 1x2 handle bar piece i think would also work in light bluish grey or white since it'd blend with the membrane pieces. maybe if you plan on the phantom's underside being most visible it would even work better...

Honestly not sure what I could do to realistically improve the squid - I think LEGO did a good job with theirs! Might try and make some modifications to the dolphin though.

the neck pieces that are the superhero pose bits actually come in dark blue! in the new avatar sets are quite handy to find pieces like that in odd colours
i would love to see a basalt delta added to the Minecraft model, i feel you would have a good take on it, with the random lava pools and spikes, there is a lot of room for creativity in a nether model like that, also a bastion would be cool.

I love your upgrade, the model aesthetic is so great, though I think I will just change the wings because when you play too much with your figures sadly you need to keep stability before a really accurate design 😢

Oi, i love the phantoms, ive been playing around with these guys in combat arenas (doom eternal style) and they are absolutely fantastic for big mob battle arenas. Even then in regular survival they are very easy to avoid. And only show up if you go caving or into another dimension for a long time. Otherwise you typically only get them when you intentionally seek them out. Wich is what i tend to do because i find them fun to fight
The official Lego Model looks like the Original "Black Phantom" They we're originally using before They Spiced it up with the Current Model. It may not be as good as the custom one but That similarity feels like an unintended Bonus.
Oh yeah! I see what you're saying. I have a tremendous amount of respect for the original LEGO model regardless. Official builds are always a great start for all the custom things I do.

Personally, I've never actually encountered a wither in normal gameplay since I'm usually playing in Creative mode, building hub world ideas. The only time I've encountered them is when I play with my friends online ( such chaos ). Also *[ Insert obligatory phantom joke ]*

That's so true! There had to be some inspiration taken from Harry Potter. Ralph and I are still working out some sort of deal - we're kind of just experimenting still to see if this is a worthwhile endeavor. I'm sure he's got the tan pieces you'd need on his store as well!

What about substituting the clip where you attach the head with a modified 1×1 brick so you can cover above it with a blue tile?
