Things I love about this channel: 1) The builds are compact 2) No corners are cut. everything works nearly exactly how it does in Minecraft 3) Intelligent use of motors to maximize efficiency. Why use 3 RFID sensors when you could move one? 4) Reliability, especially for stuff like stickers and factories 5) The humor and wit
Absolutely amazing, I was expecting just a decorative recreation, but the fact that it not only moves, tracks the player, flips the book, and even has a functional enchanting system made out of lego is mindblowing.
I was fully expecting to be amazed by an enchanting table with rotating book on top. You just kept giving more and more with each step thinking to myself "ok, that's as far as a lego replica can go". You really thought about everything and the fact that you managed to fit all of this functionality inside of that relatively small box is even more impressive.
SO impressive. You don't just make it fully functional but also keep everything so compact that it still fits the size of the block you are recreating. Look forward to these every time!
I saw these videos a few times and honestly thought they were clickbate. After watching a few I am amazed and impressed. You have more than faithfully recreated blocks in ways I didn’t think possible.
I was never good at robotics and circuits and things, but I am a massive code lover. Stripping back the physical mechanics, the code itself for a project like this is a big enough challenge on its own! I can’t really imagine adding the mechanics back on!
You deserve so much more recognition, Brick Machines. I'm not gonna slander anyone specific, but you put so much more effort into your videos than so many popular creators. Keep up the amazing work, man!
The fact that he made a enchanting table looking this good is already cool! And then the book opening, I tought that was all, but this man never disappoints, he also made a whole enchanting system that even peels and places sticker 😂 like actually, is there anyone who has ever made that
You've really gone so above and beyond with this. When clicking on it I was just expecting a build but you've blown me away. Like legit my jaw dropped when you said you were gonna add the glint with stickers. Outstanding job!
Very, very impressive. A small tip from UX point of view. A short press should preview the enchantment and a long press should confirm it. It's easier to short press a button because you might release the button while previewing the enchantment. Just a minor thing which is standard practice in UX design.
Thank you so much!! This was a challenging project, but I was really happy with the result! 🙂 It means a lot coming from a LEGO® Minecraft legend such as yourself!
What an amazing and compact build, as an engineering student this is extremely complex for the form factor, your placements of motors and other systems to work well and not create complications with one another is great, while keeping solutions as simple as possible without effecting efficiency (pun intended), I'm genuinely super impressed by this build, and blows my mind to think of howuch the mindstorm motors are capable of vs what I used them for in FLL.
These machines are so amazing, what I love most is the sheer level of detail that you put in to your builds, so many people would have never thought of the purple stickers to mimic the enchantment glint
Do a furnace next, I would love to see what extra things you would do! An avid would be interesting too! An enchanted book and tool could get an enchanted tool, items renamed, an Anvil would be very interesting and Furnace has potential for so many extra things like the fire or something.
This is incredible. As someone who’s favorite game has been minecraft for 10 years, this is seriously impressive and deserves even more recognition. It takes a lot of brains, creativity, and practice to do something like this, and the final product is extremely accurate to how it works in the game. You even added a narrator for the enchantments, which a lot of people don’t know is also accurate to the game, as there is a narrator you can turn on. The purple enchant gleam stickers are also very impressive and when I clicked on this video I didn’t expect a working GUI, just the spinning book part. The only thing I think you could improve on is adding motion sensor cameras to all four sides of the book instead of just one, so that when you’re behind the slowly spinning book but close to it, it will turn around to follow you with the front camera that was used in the video. I think you could do that with relative ease, considering all the other impressive programming and design you put into this, and it would add to the insane accuracy this enchantment table already has. Overall this is one of the most impressive and detailed “minecraft in real life” projects I’ve seen in all my years of playing, and taking a look at your channel I see you do a lot of these, you’ve earned a subscriber.
Wow, thank you so much!! The sticker mechanism was tough to get right, but surprisingly it's pretty reliable! The tricky thing is that the reel pulling the paper in is changing diameter as more paper is used, so the degrees the motor has to turn is constantly decreasing. I really should have added a sensor to detect when the sticker was in the exact right spot, but I ran out of room and sensor ports lol!
Honestly, it's insane how amazing you are at this stuff. At this point I wouldn't be surprised if you built a Beacon that could actually give people real status buffs
Finaly a youtuber who looks into things for longer than 3 minutes. The details are insane and you hit the enchanting system of minecraft just right. Great video 👍
Now that you’ve made an enchanted book, I’d love to see a working anvil with enchantment combining!! I imagine it might be similar to some of the stuff shown here, with some checks for enchantment compatibility (i.e. you can’t put a “Flame” book on a sword)
the thing is all the fun stuff would just be code, so it really wouldnt be that interesting as a build just an rfid reader and an arm that moves the chips that are put in to a different slot for output or "consumed items"
Dude you’re incredible at these. So fun to watch your problem solving skills and see the diversity of parts you use to do things I never would have thought of! Crazy cool mechanisms

Putting the stickers onto the Lego spool looked just like putting thread onto a bobbin on my sewing machine.
