Не важно кто чего придумал, а важно , что разработка русская. Китайцы, к примеру, изобрели порох, но выпускают автоматы( и патроны к нему) по лицензии... Канадцы придумали хоккей, а Советская и русская школа хоккея считается лучшей в мире, и Россия поставляет лучших игроков в мире. А вот жорес Алфёров, к примеру, сделал открытия в физике, без которых не было бы ни ЖК и плазменных мониторов, ни сотовых телефонов... Но, к сожалению, лучшие мониторы и телефоны создают не в России.
Русский самолёт создали русские... Так что плевать, кто там придумал обрабатывать железо и дуть стекло.
Ты так и не понял ничего. Я ещё раз привжу очередной пример: Рудольф Дизель придумал свой (дизельный) двигатель, но отнюдь не французы выпускают лучшие в мире дизельные движки.

the Su-35 can take more strain than any other plane.....that is why i love it
Actually the Su-35 also has an visual imaging device on board which is used to detect targets up to 90km. Reason for that is if you turn on you own radar the enemy will know where you are or at least that he is tracked. To surprise the enemy the Su-35 can use this image device instead of its radar to get a lock for missiles and such.
In terms of design, I think I love Su-35 than any of the most modern US Fighters.

I like the new paint on these craft. Other aircraft they had cammo comming off a tank or black or grey. These new SU-35's look sharp and frosty in the sky.
Theis SU-35 last pre-stealth design with its little canards is for me one of the most beautiful fighter planes of the jet era, never forgetting of course the F14 Tomcat, inspirational design for many dreamers. Both are flying beauties, the F14 almost a poular icon and my favourite fighter ever, and the SU-35 an awesone and pretty flying dancer. Very very fun to see and very inspiring
They did make the F-22 thats unforgettable. It may not maneuver as good as a Flanker but it still a great plane. And you should take a look at the plane called YF-23. Best plane ever built and by them.
Yes,The planes jams the missile's radar by emitting interfering signals,blocking the receiver with highly concentrated energy signals.
Visual lock usually works by first getting to the target by using standard radar.while still outside the range of the aircraft jammers but within visual, It switches to an on board camera and computer and follows the plane using its image.

新型光電探測系統，包括前視紅外線探測器、環場紅外感測器(下段說明)、雷射測距儀、電視攝影機。紅外探測器最大探測距離達100km，為第二代或第三代系統。雷射測距儀操作距離約15km。

The info on mars is probably outdated. There was a 20 years old project called Su-35, but it has never been realized. Now there is a new Su-35 project and for now only two planes in flight testing. Su-35 is a single seater, without canards.
Now russians have 3 planes with canards: Su-32/34 (fighter bomber), Su-33 (naval version) and Su-30MKI/2.

F-22 is actually very maneuverable, in a recent red flag exercise it was put up against Eurofighters and the Eurofighter pilots were actually very impressed. The F-22s aren't on the ground due to problems at all, that's wrong. And the Su-35 is a very capable aircraft but it does not have better technology than the F-22.

@Zed1989SRB Small wings (canards) are a feature of Su-33 which is a navalized earlier flanker (carrier based Su-27).

On most images it is NOT a SU-35 however, probably a Su-33, or a modified Su-30, like the MKI indian version and the MKA russian version wich is basically a MKI with a Thales navigation system. But a Su-33 is more likely... you can clearly see the "canards" (not sure of the name in english...)

And one more thing - if it comes for reliablity of weapons, you can bet all of your money on Russia. The only limitation is the man - if he is prepared well then he'll use every advantage that the weapon used by him allows. In USA, for example, you have far more complicated systems and mechanisms - so probability of weapon being out of commission is greater. Anyway, Sukhoi rocks! Great video.

I gotta say, the Russians have come up with some nice-looking planes over the last couple of decades. Not like the cold war days when they had a rather "generic" look at best ( MiG-21, -23 ) and "brick with wings" look at worst ( MiG-25 ).

Fighters have a sharper turning angle then a missile'and can avoid it.The missiles however have locking systems and will still follow the aircraft even if it misses the first time.
However if it is heat seeking,it can be easily be countered by flares
If it is radar locking,all modern fighters have jamming systems
The only difficult ones are the visual locking ones.

both are su 35, older version has small wings near cockpit for manuvers and newer does not because it has 3D ENGINE so those wings are unnecessary( receives a smaller impact on the enemy's radar)

@surfgodx N. Vietnames start running out of experienced pilots due to attrition and quits sending sorties against the F-4s and tries to concentrate on F-105s. Operation Linebacker was based SOLEY on the F-105 and used F-4s as CAP screen to save them from MiGs
@MarkyMilitaryFan The Super Hornet is planning to add just that in the form of a conformal pod under the fuselage where station 6 would go and add conformal fuel tanks and integrate FLIR systems into the airframe. I'm not saying loading up the Su-35BM will make it a fat, slow hog, I'm saying loading it up will definitely prevent it from high maneuverability due to severe disruption of airflow plus additional weight multiplied with high-g maneuvers.

@konischev Yeah I agree totally. The Russians knew they had a super maneuverable a/c and for the first time showed it off at a British airshow in the late 90's - which from memory blew many people away because the Russians used to be really secretive. That's when the challenge went out. Apparently it was re issued 2003, again to no reply.
I've heard the 22 can also do the cobra, but I'm yet to see any footage of it doing so.
