It's called bad writing the devs realized the MC had the power to rule the galaxy and could solve any problems that arose in the story just by saying "send in the eternal fleet" so had to backtrack or end the story SWTOR has been flying by the seat of its ass ever since
There are a lot of routes they can take but are limited due to certain choices from before, and let's not mention what they are able to do with either the hand of jadus or double agent agent
My Nox didn't kill Anathel because 1. it was out in the open and 2. being a full member of the council basically makes it impossible to move in complete secrecy. They did, however, kill Vowrawn with absolutely no hesitation because I figured there'd be an option for Nox to take over Mek-sha instead of him, that and with him dead she'd have 1 less powerful rival. So, basically, Darth Jadus route

Never loved or used that options. It's just wrong and shows the commander as someone who "lowers" themselves under their current statues. You got your own mini empire going on and what you do when your ally asks for help and invites you to high command meeting? Murder someone who took your past sit because you went missing. literally spitting in your allies face and lowering from "the commander" to some another miniscule "dark lord of the sith". and not being executed on the spot not because you are some op hero but because they need you for the time being.
Not everyone wanted to become the commander of a mini “empire”. I never liked the direction the story took during kotet/kotfe (at least not on my bounty hunter)
I think (especially in the case of nox) it shows your character to be a real schemer who's willing to give up his empire in the long term to gain something much more

Depends on how you play Nox but he always felt more Lawful Evil compared to the Chaotic Evil that is dark side SW
