I'm looking at one of these currently; would the Rega Fono MC be suitable for it? I don't want to spend a ton on a phono pre-amp as I'll be connecting it to KEF LS50 Wireless speakers (with KC62 sub).
Marantz sold out to sound united so marantz is no longer a manufacturer of turntables now . i had a marantz over 28 years ago it was great and had no issues at all with it .
Do we know anything about if or when there will be a Rega Planar 8 and 10 available? To this day it's still the RP versions that's available as far as I know.
Hello...Is the Neo psu considered a Pre Amp ? I have powered speakers ...can I just go from the Turntable to the PSU to my poered speakers? Thank you for the video. I am thinking about getting 1 .
I was wondering as I was considering upgrading my turntable to the rega planar 6 , Does this one need a pre amp? Also can you play 78 records? My audio technica 120 will play 78 records if you push down 33 and 45 at the same time. Can you do this with this model.
@@HifixCoUkFrankHarvey I went ahead and upgraded to a P6 and I'm very happy that I did. The P6 with Neo is definitely a step up! Thank you for your input.
@@RonRivet Are you using the same cartridge (Exact) with the P6 as you used with the P3? How is the sound better with the P6? I am also trying to decide fo a step up from Rega P3.
@@brave1671 yes I'm still using the Exact with the P6. I liked the P3 with Exact and it sounded nice but with the P6 you get the Neo ttpsu which makes quite a nice difference and is quieter. If you can afford it, I recommend it. If not, the P3 with Exact is a very nice table.

I don't think this is actually a review. This is more of a product demo. If the turntable wasn't any good, you wouldn't be selling it. Still, a good video.
Best turntable in it's price range, nothing rivals it

Anyone have any thoughts or opinions about the Marantz TT-15S1 and the Planar 6?

I have a terrific rega RP6 turntable. Go direct drive. with the belt I do not regret anything. lightness and well-adjusted precision c is the foot ..
Nice what speakers do you have with it ?

How big is the difference (sonically) between a P6 with an exact and a P3 with an exact and Neo PSU?
How long is a piece of string?
Repo man as long as you want it
@@glumfish6862 exactly
So you can toggle back and forth between 33 and 45 without turning off power on Planar 6?
Yes.

We've heard nothing about them yet, hopefully we hear some news on them soon.
Thanks for an excellent demonstration and description 👍
Thank you for your comment!

Pronounced Reega not Rayga.
Rega it is indeed.

No it is belt driven not motor and will play 45 and 33 1/3 speeds only.
Who plays 78s nowadays. Are you a time traveller lol

Thank you for the review. In your opinion, would it be a good idea to go from P3 with Exact cart to a P6 with Neo and Exact cart?
That would be a great upgrade, Ron!

No mames.
Please, for the love of God; get a haircut!!!!!!!!
That's what they told the Beatles and they did just fine
And don't use heavily warped vinyls for RUclips videos as in 1:04 ;-)
Now that's really important :-((
