- Hi creative friends! Today I'm sharing how this Thrift Store Secretary Desk gets a gorgeous new look using Silk All-In-One Mineral Paint, a Lace Transfer and WoodUbend Appliques. It's a great flip from Thrift Store blah into this gorgeous Hampton Olive beauty!
Thanks for watching. :)
Wishing you a beautiful day filled with inspiration!

You did such a beautiful job on this! The Smokey green is a lovely heritage color and perfect for this piece!!!
Thank you!
Beautiful! It's amazing you could see the beauty underneath all that dirt and damage. Wow.
Thanks Betty!
Beautiful piece!
Thanks! :)
Came out so beautiful 😍
Hope to see some more videos from you 👍
Thanks Lily... I'm hoping to do more videos as well! xo
I have some pieces of furniture that I would love to paint. You are an inspiration
Thanks so much Lorraine! :)
So beautiful!! I would like to know what type of paint sprayer you are using and where to you by the bendable pieces. And I do have a compresser. So beautiful 😍
i love this
Thanks Evengelia! Thanks for watching! :)
I love the 1970s Furniture Vibe it gives off groovy cool
Beautiful!! I absolutely love using Woodubend on my flips too. I haven’t sprayed Silk so my question is did you thin the paint before you sprayed?
Me too, WoodUbend is awesome, isn't it! And yes, I did thin my Silk a touch before spraying. :)
@@SalvagedInspirations I was under the impression that you couldn't use water with silk paints.
@@lorrainewhitlock5377 Correct. Water is not recommended when brushing. When spraying, thinning is acceptable (otherwise some of the colors are too thick to spray through a sprayer) but no more than 1 oz of water to 16 oz of paint ...otherwise the stain blocker/primer and or topcoat could be compromised.
FABULOUS!!! 👍👍👍
Thanks 🤗
How much could you resell the finished product for?
If my memory is right I believe this desk sold for $299 or $325... somewhere in that range.
Wow that's so cool. You have a new subscriber. Great video!
Lovely! I need to get some of those transfers, they are beautiful.
Thank Toia! I really love those transfers too. :) Have a great weekend.
Did you dilute this paint with water to spray
I love all your work. This desk came out beautiful. How much water did you add to your paint for spraying? I haven't sprayed silk yet. I'm new to spraying.
Know what I didn't hear? You have to hurry with this Bondo because it is a very short work time. You may be the ONLY furniture artist on the entire internet that actually knows how to mix it up. I am always sitting here screaming "It wouldn't be a problem if you would use the right amount of hardener!" You got an instant subscribe from me.
Very short work time and that's what I love. I can usually start sanding within 15min. Thanks Jay!
