Can anyone tell me if I want to make it for a dinner party, could I make it earlier that day, and store it in fridge and how to reheat it and if it’s as good?

Marie Anne If you go to the end of the recipe I think it says it can be made ahead of time and frozen and then thawed the day you need it and cooked. Hope this answers your question.

Just made this last night, and boy was it yummy!!! I used shitaki mushrooms, cut real fine because my husband doesn't love mushrooms. I also used unsweetened coconut cream instead of dairy (dairy gives me digestive problems). I didn't wipe out the pan after sauteing the chicken, nor did I remove the mushrooms, onions, and garlic from the pan to make the cream sauce because I felt it was a wasted step. Instead, I added the butter right in with my veggies and added the flour, stock, and cream. The dish turned out fantastic, even hubby loved it, and he doesn't love mushrooms. I served it with a side salad over rice, and it was phenomenal! I will be making this easy dish again!

I made this dish tonight! It was so delicious. My husband and I loved it so much! I added a teaspoon of dijon mustard and a quarter cup of white wine, also seasoned with herbes de provence,..big flavors! Instead of milk (half n half) I used pea milk which kicked up the protein value and lessened the dairy load but trust me when I say, you couldn't tell the difference. It was a winner! Garnished with crushed red pepper flakes. Thanks for all your great recipes inspirations, Natasha! 😉😊👋👍🏼👏

I cooked the chicken and mushroom stew featured in the video referenced above for tea today. Gosh ! What an extremely impressive stew it was ! It was also eaten by both my wife and only child and all of us enjoyed the recipe very much. I served it with broccoli, cabbage and carrots all three of which I steamed. All of us liked the garlicky creaminess of the dish very much and we look forward eagerly to having it again some day soon ! The recipe was easy to follow and an absolute doddle to cook !

To make it easier for you I give you
    Chicken and Mushroom Casserole
    Ingredients:
    13 x 9 baking dish
4 chicken breasts in 1” or smaller strips, or chicken tenders
Salt and Pepper to taste, season both sides
Dreddgechicken in 1 cup of flour
1 lb. of mushrooms thickly sliced
    1 medium onion chopped
    3 tsp. of minced garlic
    Sauce:
    3 tbsp. of butter
1 ½ cups of chicken broth
    3 tbsp. of flour
    1 tbsp. of lemon juice
1 cup of half and half or mix milk with heavy whipping cream
    Directions:
    Preheat oven to 350
Place prepared chicken in bottom of baking dish
Using large pan, saute coated chicken in 3 tbsp. oil until lightly golden brown and place in baking dish, then scrape pan, use 3 tbsp of oil to saute mushroom and onion for a couple minutes then add minced garlic for another minute or so
Pour prepared mushroom, onion and garlic over top of chicken
Using same large pan, clean it out, set to med. low, then melt 3 tbsp. butter and whisk in 3 tbsp. of flour until golden, then whisk in 1 ½ cups chicken broth and 1 tbsp. lemon juice until creamy, then whisk in half and half and bring to light simmer, taste sauce to see if it needs a little more salt, then pour sauce over chicken, etc., cover with foil and bake for 45 min. and it’s done!
Serve over potatoes, pasta or rice, etc. and enjoy…

If you people don’t like how she did it, then don’t make it or adjust it to your liking. I agree with you on not scraping and wiping off the pan but you don’t have to be rude on your criticisms.
      God damn, hill billies.

Thanks Natasha! I like your recipes they’re easy for me to understand the step by step! I like that you use the same pan so the kitchen end up cleaner! My casserole is in the oven can’t wait! I made the mush room fettuccini and my mother loved it, she’s 101 years old and I’m so happy she ate everything! Thank again!
