Next time Jacob is invited to Smash Summit, he should host a tournament where professional players play 8-player time with items set to high and stage transition on.

I am unironically so envious and so proud of Alpharad. To be able to make your own casual content and have proplayers play it at major tournaments; that must honestly be a dream come true. Casual Smashers would kill to be so fortunate.
At worst, the love/hate for casual play in the Smash community is a 50/50 split. The majority of people, even competitive players, do not hate casual play. If anything, competitive players are more hated for “taking a kid game too seriously “.
@@diamondminer5459 that's why I said as frowned upon cause I know there are those that prefer casual play, I was mainly referring to those who religiously do 3 stock fd no items
@@diamondminer5459 It's probably not hate but moreso of an unsaid stigma that "you're playing the game wrong" if you're playing with any sort of casual ruleset. It's not anything anyone outright says but a lot of people (mainly diehard competitive players) will give you funny looks that kinda enforce that stigma.
You could’ve made a skill issue joke to the skill share ad!! That aside, first smash tournament I’ve watched in a while and wow was it good, would love to see another player + amiibo tournament because with that and your editing, that’s super awesome!! love this video :D
I think what truly shines about this channel is the fact that I can watch the vod for this multiple times, and STILL when I watch this vid for the first time it is a new experience. The editing is top tier, ty for the great content.
This is refreshing to see. On the one hand I get it. We want a fair competitive environment with no camping and keep away tactics ect. But it also gets annoying to see some yourubers and streamers treat casual play so poorly to even go as far as pretending to puke when they come across a casual rule set online. Definitely something I could watch more of.
Out of all of the gimmicks the amiibo have, I think my favorite is when Jacob makes his own separate tournament to have pro players fight against $13 toys.
It’s refreshing to see Jacob post smash content. I love both his newer content but seeing these amibo vids feels like a blast to the past. Keep up the amazing work Jacob!
I wish at the very end you would've told him that he had to fight the Zelda amiibo to figure out the true winner. Like they went all that way together then turned against each other 🤣
When he pulled out that donkey Kong amino at the end I thought he was gonna team up with hard dk and fight the winners. Never have I been so disappointed in my own expectations.
Zelda getting FS Meter right as the final hit made contact was a pretty epic way of finishing the tournament. DURING THE TIMER COUNTDOWN. Only way it could have been better is if it was a star KO ending at 1 second.
Thank you for doing these, high skill levels being aplied to the chaotic party game side of smash is one of my favorite things This video was absolutely beautiful too
I only know the basics of Smash as a sometimes casual player, but MAN I love these weird amiibo tournament videos, I barely follow what's going on but everyone is having so much FUN
Excellent choice of background music. Especially at about 16 seconds in (nice to hear some rivals of aether). Not only is the video edited to perfection but the music is great. Keep doing what you do Alpha!!!
I love the fact that proto picked the character that’s called best in the game as a joke and ended up with the actual best character in the game as his partner
That last fight was fated for Zelda. Those last 5 seconds when she got her FS, if she had immediately used it instead of Up-Smash, would've caught Joker maybe just on the last second for the win. Down-right incredible.
Why I love alphas content is because he doesn’t lack originality. He may not be the most consistent but he does a good job on new entertaining ideas and that’s how he makes my day when he uploads
Still find it funny someone _genuinely thought_ Alpharad would allow Hard DK onto the roster when there's an opportunity to prank the exact type of person who wouldn't question it
Thanks Jacob. I needed this right now ❤️ (Also what the hell, what country did you get lost in bro, you can’t just through that in at the end of the video)
Cloud was too powerful, he pledged loyalty to none, and so, his battle was tough, and eliminated his own teammate, it was a 3v1 for him, and he was killed despite his ungodly strength

i can see Sakurai watching this and smiling, seeing how his idea of a chaotic, fun party game came true via Alpharad
And that smile being slightly pained when he thinks about hard/soft DK
At this point Alpharad is just Sakurai's chosen warrior since he's the only one that can make this kind of event happen
It truly is how you’re supposed to play the game.
Sakurai:as It should be
sakurai: yes, continue, this is how you're supposed to play the game
I love how the entire premise of this series is just: "What is the dumbest tournament idea I can convince pro smash players to go along with?"
Pretty much
I'm glad that my buying every single amiibo finally had SOME purpose

Personally, I think the winner should have had to fight their Amiibo partner at the end to determine whether they or the toy was the true champion.

Ah my favorite genre of Alpharad content, "making others suffer for entertainment"
Whenever Alpharad is given power over others he uses it to make something truly special
Bro Marss’ Pop off for Zelda spamming final smash was def a highlight for me
I die laughing everytime when Marss's piece of plastic beats Tweek's piece of plastic and he starts shaming Tweek HARD
Same here
Watching Mars cheer on an amiibo is something I didn't know I needed
Mars jumped on that weakness of Amiibo so quickly lol. He knows casual strats well enough to pick the most overpowered one on spot.
The joke about proto being Japanese made laugh harder than I ever have at a youtube video.
This is gonna be chaotic and I’m all for it.
We all are
Tweek and Marss will never have a more hype set in their lives
and they weren't even the last 2 standing
Jacob truly is the mastermind of getting competitive people to do uncomfortable stuff. It’s fun and gives them more personality.
I love watching all of them scream at how epic the game was with two players and two plastic toys with the powers of God.
Alpharad: *PARRY THIS YOU FILTHY PROS*
NOOOOOOOOOOO!!
*gets sucked into the second Zelda fs after escaping the first.*
Out of all of the gimmicks the amiibo have, I think my favorite is when Jacob makes his own separate tournament to have pro players fight against $13 toys.
“Cheap toy made of plastic” we not gonna talk about how much the joker amiibo costs?
Actually a lot of amiibos are expensive
It’s refreshing to see Jacob post smash content. I love both his newer content but seeing these amibo vids feels like a blast to the past. Keep up the amazing work Jacob!
Pov: you practiced for hours upon hours
Alphard: throw that away, you won't need it here
Clearly you haven’t watched Item Breakers. They go wild with items
@@dragodadragon yeah i haven't, sounds fun though
Marss: "You underestimated me. I too, was practicing for this moment."
That's honestly so much more interesting to watch than competitive matches.
ITEMS, HAZARDS, WEIRD STAGES, WEIRD STUFF, ALL THE FUN
Giving this video a like because Marss being an overly invested sports mom to the Zelda amiibo was funny af 😂
I am convinced they cannot see game 5 and are just shouting “OH NO” “OH MY GOD” UH OH” and talk about the game every once in a while
I wish at the very end you would've told him that he had to fight the Zelda amiibo to figure out the true winner. Like they went all that way together then turned against each other 🤣

You’ve sentenced people to rigged escape rooms and made an awkward talent show. But none of that is as cruel as what this is
I find it so wholesome that marss picked zelda cuz thats Rachels main and he won with her in spirit.
Rewatching this now... good fucking times, man.
I only know the basics of Smash as a sometimes casual player, but MAN I love these weird amiibo tournament videos, I barely follow what's going on but everyone is having so much FUN
This proves you should bring back the Amiibo tournies. This shit was hype.
Marss popping off against tweek like that was the funniest thing ever XD
Casual play is pure fun, I love doing it with friends at parties.
should've pitted the winning player and amiibo against each other at the end lol
I think Alpha brings exactly what Sakurai wanted into the competitive scene
I'm just happy that Zelda won. I like Marss's smug attitude about it, as well.
Skillshare kirby will forever be missed, thank you skillshare for sponsoring this video allowing alpharad to be who he wants to be

I like how the players seem to have fun more than in competitive

Huh, that background could have fooled me x)
Honestly props to marss for picking the hard carry amiibo
Zelda really gave everyone two options: submit or be sealed away into oblivion

I feel this was the beginning of a hero or villain arc, I just can't tell what amibo is the hero and what is the villain.
Marss taking pride in being carried once again
Alpha is the most powerful puppet master in the Smash community, yet for some godforsaken reason, they keep handing him the strings
They should’ve had to fight their amiibo at the end
