You're really can feel the power behind every move this robot got.. and I can't imagine his OG counterpart would looks like if this one is already being kickass
@@Feja2503 I seen it, OG version looks more fluid and have a lot of move, but dang something about this robot move little bit slow than OG version really sells it to me..
Having this as one of my favorite units in OG2 has me in your camp, but also saying that the only reason any of these versions of this look as good as they do is because the original Alpha version was already so badass looking in everything it did that all they can do is just recreate it better and better every time.
@@helmiboboy in the og version, that’s banpersto(?) games and they can animate how they want it without worrying about other licenses and stuff. Reason why they had to make it a bit slow here is because of the budget since it’s part of a dlc pack, and to fit the style since 2nd og is flashy and stuff.
@@MikeTheGamer77 Yeah, seeing the sprite and animation back to back, they really dropped the ball on KRO in 30. And why the hell did someone decide to give him pink pawpads?!
They really did a bad call on using faux 3D on the Animation like if it's in any other artstyle it would actually look decent although Props from them making the face looks vaguely like Bullet
Bullet's main theme but it was originally from the vanished PT unit the Original Huckebein Mk-II R.I.P for the badass mecha and became the Mass-Production model…
RyuKoOh was the only one who got a great animation. Koryu wasn't as fortunate, where to start... His face looks goofy and I couldn't take it seriously. At least the Tiger Knuckle looked great. Tyrant Overbreak compared to the OG and Moondwellers, this one was real underwhelming that it's actually insulting. I didn't mind the drill, it was a fun nod to the GBA version. But it should have more impact and more menacing cut-ins. Remember when Koryu actually walks towards the camera then fucking ROARS after his Tyrant Overbreak? That was pretty bad-ass. And it was an obvious Audio Rip from the older games, I have noticed that Bullet doesn't have new lines of dialogue in his combat anims. Kusuha's voice sounded more clearer and crisp and actually had new voice lines. Bullet's was easily drowned by the sound effects and sounded too compressed.
I can't really compare it to the OG games really because of different budget reasons. For me, it does it's absolute best at throwing such impacts and completely bonkers which they portrayed pretty well here.
in my honest opinion... I got a little disappointed on how koryuoh animation sequence got so... ugly... they turned the long srw tradition of super deformed design into semi normal size. the animation.... it's tradi animation, but so lagging due to the frame rate, and slow. i can't see the epicness and power in Koryuoh in this attack animation. *they truly spent all the budget on OG series (lol)
@@ZengarZanvolt It is less smooth than in the OG games. Unit is great though. Bunshin, hp/en regen, barrier are strong together. Especially combined with Kushia's 15SP Wall.
Yeah I agree, it's super choppy. There's a lot of little things going on here that, on their own, wouldn't be that bad, eh whatever, but altogether add up into a package that make me go "why does this look so bad?" Especially the buildup for the drill, like that just became awkward at that point.

You already know what it looks like? The OG is going to upgrade anyway, so i doubt they'll do much.

KoRyuOh's face looks so derpy here for some reason.
the entire thing looks derpy compared to this.

I think they're prepping us for Shin RyuKo/KoRyuoh for the next OG SRW.
No matter what game, Koryuoh is always bonkers and I love seeing it each time

Sorry , the OG one from 10 years ago still look better xD
man this game was kind to KoRyuoh and RyuKoOh
I wonder if he have unique quotes when supporting Edge
very bad animation for the time the truth
Ah yes, the kids draw version of KoRyuOh.
Não tem tanta emoção comparada as outras versões
imo the Vanishing Trooper theme fits this unit better.

what the fuck is that drill at the end?
Giga drill break

What’s up with the frame rate?
It’s like 20 fps
Battles are locked to 30 fps iirc.
why the damaging power figures so weak compared with the other robots

is it weird this and the RyuKoOh video makes me hope next console game will see the return of Godannar.
Ehhh... was hype until my eye caught up and realized that the animation looks kinda bad compared to Moon Dwellers and 2nd OGs.
I see no issues with it, barring the shadow clones in the previous games which was kickass.

You dont expect OG tier animation on non-OG SRWs
2nd OG and Moon Dwellers are the pinnacle in terms of SRW animations
animation in srw30 s.u.ck. Do not waste your money guys

Waste? Lmao ok bud
Even worse than OGs (PS2)
