I hope you cover Portal but I probably won't watch those. I tried to watch a similar video where someone played the first one and I just couldn't imagine not playing it. Gonna actually have to download that one. If you thinking about trying other series, I think one franchise that would benefit from your skill level and attention to detail would be Metal Gear Solid. It's a very cinematic series, very much the opposite of Half-Life, but it would be fun to watch you tackle something like Metal Gear Solid 3. Costume choices, player character personality, the works. Lots of ways to express yourself and lots of game to explore. Something to think about. It would also be fun to watch you play something like Republic Commando (did you know Temuera Morrison plays the main character in that?) but enough suggestions: I'm just looking forward to whatever you put out next. It's going to be a masterpiece.
Thanks for all the suggestions, and for your comment and kind words :) Unfortunately, for the near future I don't see myself uploading much outside of Half-Life. The reason being Half-Life has been such a huge part of my gaming life, I could present it relatively well while playing at a relatively high skill level (at least I hope I am). The other games, while I'd like to try them, will probably not benefit as much from my presentation style (or will require a godly amount of time for me to master).
Is it impossible to kill a guard right when you're about to leave? Iirc, in the og half-life, you can kill the security guard once he opens the door and trigger the tutorial's ending (you can also die on the tram thing and still finish the tutorial if your corpse is over the moving tram thing)
Always love small EE like this. I never tried to see how long you can actually survive. Btw, what do you use to record such smooth and HQ footage? I've tried using OBS but it ends up laggy
The waves are endless but it's definitely fun to try. Honestly I've had runs where I camped the security door with the shotgun and managed to hold them off for a long time. They also get stunlocked really easily with the crowbar, even in groups.

My god this is amazing! I just downloaded Hazard Course yesterday and just went full on pacifist mode since I never knew this could happen. Btw, will the guards just spawn infinitely until they kill you? Or is there like an end to this where they just detain you?
They will spawn infinitely until the player dies! Though it'd been cool if something happens at the end if the player survives a certain amount of waves haha
@@Sexy_Nutella And maybe after like 9 waves of guards, they then send in the HECU Grunts to detain him, considering how Gordon is becoming to trigger happy from shooting all the employees at the facility lol
Im still waiting for the classic hl : Hazardouse Course 2 for blackmesa.
doing this could actually be good practice for upcoming H.E.C.U arenas..
0:18 Barney: Do you have any idea how much it costs to replace one of those?
Freeman: *shrugs, proceeds to headshot him with MP5
these security guys are voiced by ross scott of freeman's mind fame, btw
Really? I thought they were by Michael Tsarouhas who voiced the HECU in the base game
@@Sexy_Nutella It's Michael Tsarouhas.
I mean, if the government lets Black Mesa train by makingthem break their legs and walk into fire this is no more than field training...
The true final boss of black mesa is the hazard course.
ASSIGNMENT: TERMINATED
SUBJECT: FREEMAN
REASON: KILLED SECURITY GUARDS AT THE HAZARD COURSE
I regret nothing...
Well that escalated quickly. Also why don’t everyone be a goddamn pacifist in Half Life for one?
Canon Gordon is definitely trying to be a pacifist in my eyes. Player Gordon though..that's a different story haha
why didn't black mesa call in the hecu? they're still canonically partners at the time of the hazard course.
I'm sure they would but it'd take some time for them to deploy
I didn’t know you could interact with the radio, I just broke it :|
If you interact with it before breaking it, the Guard will respond a bit differently :)
you should have called the elevator then did that so you could escape
gordon gets fired ending
They should add this Hazard Course to the original game.
Godlessness
Should have been canon
If there are multiverses in the Half-Life universe, maybe it is ;)
Why tho?
Haha bully freeman 🤣
You've heard of Bully Maguire...now dig on Bully Freeman ;)
Is it impossible to kill a guard right when you're about to leave? Iirc, in the og half-life, you can kill the security guard once he opens the door and trigger the tutorial's ending (you can also die on the tram thing and still finish the tutorial if your corpse is over the moving tram thing)
Interesting.
Glad you think so!
Always love small EE like this. I never tried to see how long you can actually survive. Btw, what do you use to record such smooth and HQ footage? I've tried using OBS but it ends up laggy
I use nvidia shadowplay!
Its impossible to survive their is lack resources like health and yes you can with sodas not batteries ammo is scare
Yeah. I turned on god mode out of curiosity to see if it'd ever end, but alas it never does

I wonder how long you could hold them off.
The waves are endless but it's definitely fun to try. Honestly I've had runs where I camped the security door with the shotgun and managed to hold them off for a long time. They also get stunlocked really easily with the crowbar, even in groups.
this would be terrible...
Definitely. Luckily canon Gordon would never do this in my eyes hahaha
@@Sexy_Nutella He’s a highly trained professional.
... for the economy
Do the security guards infinitely spawn or do they eventually stop? Either way, that's awesome they included this!
To my knowledge, they infinitely spawn. I do wish something would happen if Gordon kills enough of them, but that probably would;ve opened up a whole new can of worms on the development side haha
@@Sexy_Nutella Sounds like mod material. Half-Life: Freeman Goes Postal.
The HECU is called in to contain Freeman, eventually, who goes on to release all the Xenian life forms they experimented on and teleports to Xen himself to escape the military.
You know that Improved Classic Xen mod? Why not do a playthrough of it while waiting for BM Blue Shift to finish?
I'll see if I have the time to check it out. Gonna do what's out of BM:BS first before tackling anything else :)
@@Sexy_Nutella Ah. Wouldn’t it make more sense to wait for BM: BS to finish & fill those intervening months with other mods?
What would happen If you use God Mode through this?
If by "Good mode" you mean not killing the guards, then the game continues as normal and they don't attack you.
@@Sexy_Nutella actually I meant "God mode"...but that's interesting as well
@@emerson5225 lol whoops! If you put on god mode, the waves just keep coming, they never stop to my knowledge
That gore from a mod or does it come with Black Mesa?
It comes in with black Mesa, which is even better.
It's built into the main game!
Can you actually escape after shooting or are you forced to fight against endless waves of Guards forever?
3:12 was there more to the mod, or is this the end of the mod?
Just me, or does it seem a little weird seeing the security guards doing intended their job before the resonance cascade, instead of just being secrataries
Not to disrespect the guards of course
This maked me reinstall this mod
Black Mesa but in Ohio not New Mexico
lol
This was gross!
Why didn't you use Godmode?
