Thank You guys for sharing your experience with the world!! I am living in EEUU Since the '80s I am planning to go back and retire to my beautiful country. As of matter of fact, I am going for 30 days to my country next November.:)
Hi Nicki & James, Carlos was planning to contact you today (Thursday ), unfortunately couldn't make it. Trying to finish my paperworks. Tomorrow will be my last day again with busy schedule. Hope to meet you'll on my next visit. Claude
Best way to barbecue is to smoke your meats. Place your charcoal 21 side of the grill am light. Season you're Meech and put on a hot Grill, Placing them on the side away from the actual fire. Cover and allow a little bit of air to keep the coals going. You will not have to turn your meat at all. Chicken usually takes about 2 to 2 and a 1/2 hours, Is larger touch of Lamb, beef or work probably about 4 hours. Depending on the cut of beef the longer the better may they make it more tender. Rachel then Sauce or fluid 2 based halfway through. By cooking this way you can actually leave the meats on attendant Until done.
heres your tip for the charcoal braai/ bbq... Start it 30 -45 min before hand and speaking of hand. Dont put your food on until you can put your hand an inch over the grill for 3 seconds without burning...Cheers guys!
At 4:53 you give a mid price of $500-$900/mo, but when I check rental sites I can't find anything livable under $1000. Is there someplace else I should look?
When we were looking 2 months ago we were finding apartments on casa24 with no furniture for the mid price range. I haven’t looked recently. They were not big places. 2 bdrm apartments. I thought it would be more off season now from what I was told. But looking at 3-4 bdrm houses with friends and things seem expensive at the moment. Keep looking. As I know some owners will drop the price after being turned down half a dozen times due to the high prices they are asking.
@@njelsalvador Thanks for the reply. I work remotely but my wife does not. She is looking for remote work. We are motivated to leave Canada while we still can. Do you think we could get by on $2300 USD/mo for a while until she finds something? Is that feasible or out of the question?
We have moved from New Zealand and prior to leaving had many concerned family and friends regarding our safety. Right from the start at the airport we have had nothing but kindness and helpfulness from the El Salvadoran people, here in El Salvador. Yes there are areas that are not recommended that you go - but that is the same in any country. It does take time getting use to the armed guards and the gated fences. We keep an awareness that maybe we didn’t have in NZ but we feel safe here. 💙🇸🇻
@@njelsalvador thank you so much for your response. You are right, there are unsafe areas in every country. I will be considering this further. Hopefully, you won't mind if I ask more questions 😊

Do you have an electric teapot? Lol. I hear the Australians can’t imagine a house with out it. Don’t know if is the same in New Zealand
An electric kettle to boil water - you would not find a house in NZ without one. But here in El Salvador we boil water on the stove top.
