subscribed, really great video as a wood machinist/ joiner that works in factory i found it really interesting, loved the music too👍! The cabinets look geat
Another great video I like the longer ones for sure My old house was like that aporox 80mm out of square parallelogram in every room did a full run of wardrobes which was fun lost about 200mn in width due to lack of squareness Deffo look at the lights for my next wardrobe looked great think the boss will like that also 🎉
Yeah I love these lights. I decided after this video to put an old laser level and my trend angle finder in my quote bag. Tbh it’s rare I don’t check and did check the little girls room as it had a sloped ceiling Thanks for watching again Matt
Hi Matt, I've always found that when a job starts off badly or has an issue they're always a fight to get just right. The build quality of that extension looked truly shocking, Whoever fitted the skirting boards etc should hold their heads in shame. Keep up the good work mate and I regularly have wobbles, have done for 25yrs or more. 😁 Ade
Yes Adrian as you say. I just knew it was going that way. Over the years I have just learnt to get your head down and have a reset at some point during the week or day depending on the job. The carpentry work is worse than I have shown tbf. I met the chippy and he was lovely! He either was having a tough time or just didn’t care but he was certainly capable! Thanks for watching again and your comments Onwards and upwards
Thanks so much. I really enjoy these lights, well apart from fitting these ones🙈. Yes all the cabinets get screwed to a Batten on the sides. In older houses I have a batten or space plug for the rear but this was on dot and dab on new work so they are shimmed with tight packers and screwed fixed to the wall with heavy duty angle brackets on the top and the smaller stretcher brackets are fitted to the floor and plinth and then under the cabinet to the plinth with a small angle bit for the drill. I do sometimes fit through the cabinet and cover with veneer stickers or brown caps but I always do it last and pick a spot where it’s still not easy to see. If you look closely you will see the angle brackets in bits of the video but there are some bits that I didn’t film as I turn the Timelapse off when I go down stairs and cut the scribes! I probably should take my camera down stairs for those tbh!
Hi @shedlife@1783 Thanks for watching. Yes, I guess it has to be something. I always find that sort of thing hard especially I was to do it on my way home and the customer had already given me quite a bit of work! In this case I have had plenty of work from them but I did pack up at mid day! Question is what’s a except-able call out for a chippy?! Matt
Excellent honest vid Matt. Keep them coming pal
Thanks mate. Will keep plodding on! Hopefully with better results

Awesome job Matt. Do you secure the larger cabinets to the wall. Love the Lights 👌

Very kind of you to say.
Thanks so much for watching and reaching out!
Matt👍🏻
I’d charge something for sure. Minimum an ‘emergency call out’ charge.
