Great review. What I love most is that you didn’t try to make it picture perfect but instead it’s a real working craft room. Thanks for that. I so happy to see you got a bigger place. I never could figure out how you managed in that tiny corner space and still make such beautiful cards. Great tour.
My dear Yana You are a very honest lady. I really enjoyed looking at your craft room. I am praying for you your family and the people of Ukraine. Be safe and well. Tc
One thing I learned from this tour compared to all other tour videos, keep snacks in one of your drawers for when you’re deep into creating and you don’t want to stop! 😂 Thanks for that, Yana!
Whew! I feel better; 😃. I thought I was the only one who kept a snack. I mean you never know. And I have empty boxes and a stationary bike that needs dusted. God Bless Ukraine. Our hearts and constant prayers are with you all 🙏❤
Your video is awesome and so true to life. Some of the other craft room organization videos are so incredibly fancy and ultra organized, I end up feeling inadequate and bad about myself. Now, hearing you freely admit to being a messy crafter (and having seen your lovely creations), I can enter my space and not beat myself up for having 7 projects out waiting to be finished! Thank you Yana, and I am praying that the ordeal you are currently going through will very soon be over and you will continue to remain safe.
So what I appreciate the most about this video - the honest view of how you TRULY keep your craft room. What a great view of you! And just to think your cards come out beautifully all the time‼️🤗
I am so happy you have a larger craft area. When you first moved back home, I wondered how you could manage with the limited area. You did a wonderful job, and I got some ideas. Thanks for sharing your room, but most of all Thank you for sharing your talent.
Thank you so much Yana I’m sure this was quite a task to tidy and film, really appreciate you taking the time to share with us. I got quite a few ideas and I really like your table I need something better than what I’m now using. Thanks again, luv ya!
Ohhh Yana, your craft space really has grown. I loved your first video you made when you showed the pegboard. I had been trying to find organization ideas that would work for me. I saved your video to my phone and took you along to IKEA lol. I’m still so happy with all I purchased. I moved last yr and wanted to add to my pegboard. I have white like yours. Well they were out for months. They had lots of the natural and some blue but I liked the white. I ended up getting 4 of the smaller pegboards, I was tired of waiting. Don’t you know a couple of weeks after they have the larger white ones and have not run out since !!! It was a pleasure taking a tour of your much expanded craft area. Love your cards so much. Thanks for sharing 🌼
Awww, thank you Gayle! That pegboard is very functional. I feel like it is a great addition to any craftroom. I love mine with all the various attachments ❤
I was SO EXCITED to see this video when I came on YT today and it did NOT disappoint! Thank you Yana for sharing your space with us! I really like those pegboards, one day when we are able to move from apts to a home, I'm hoping to buy some for my new craft room! LOL
Love the room....mine is still a work in progress, but not a large as yours...I am just a home scrapbooker and genealogist...Love your ideas for storage. Take care Yana
In one of your earlier craft room tours you showed your pegboard set up with all the Nuvo drops in one of those cute little shelves. It looked like a candy display and needless to say, you inspired a major purchase of Nuvo drops for me! Love your craft space, you appear to be outfitted with everything a crafter could ever want!
Looks great, and most importantly it has to be functional and what works for you. I too have the Ikea peg board, Alex, SKÅDIS ,etc. My husband got me the same table that adjusts the hight. Super cool feature if I want to work standing. It made me giggle when you said that you keep moving your peg board shelves 😂🤣, I am the same way, add stuff, reorganize, etc. I haven't created anything since Christmas because decided to reorganize my craftroom and clean/purge and once again, make it functional. Thanks for the tour Yana! My next project is inspired on the Mini Blooms dies from Spellbinders so I have been using my scraps to die-cut flowers, leaves and branches🙂
Yes. Yes and once more yes! It has to be functional. I got the cheaper version of that desk, and it does go as high as I'd like for me to be standing there. But it will have to do for now 😁
Very nice craft room! I recently saw your older video about the Ikea pegboard and then went out and bought it that day :) It is perfect and exactly what I was looking for. I only saw them in white and grey and they didn't have all that many accessories at the store. I picked up a couple additional accessories from Amazon. Apart from that, it was fascinating taking a peek at your craft room. You have a lot of stuff, but it looks like it is all organized and at your fingertips. If it were me, I might purge a bit because I like having some space. But of course I never do have space. I start off with a clear desk and next thing I know I am working in a tiny 6"x6" square.
Sure! I use Adobe Premier Pro for editing. I filmed this video with my phone - Samsung Galaxy S21+. The rest of my videos are filmed with Canon XF405 camera.
Thank u 4sharing your craft room with us. The tag shape papers u have on a ring, hanging from your peg board. What do u use that 4? Praying 4 u, your family, & country. Have a great day.
I have noticed several times your using those scissors w/the green handles. They look really sturdy and sharp! Would you be able to share where you purchased them? TIA! Love your light and bright craft room!!
Hey, Barbara. There are different types of ink for different types of the job. There is ink for stamping outline images (and coloring them), there is ink for stamping solid images, ink for ink blending and so on. I like Simon Says Stamp Pawsitively Saturated inks for stamping and ink blending (but I dont do a lot of ink blending). I prefer Versafine Onyx Black ink for stamping sentiments in black, and also for stamping outline images I want to color (this ink is not designed to work with alcohol markers, it bleeds, so I set it by adding clear embossing powder on top).
So happy for you Yana! I always felt bad you had such a tiny crafting space, but it shows you don’t need a big space to make beautiful cards. You just need talent of which you have lots. Enjoy your new beautiful space!
My friend is an acupressure specialist down here in Ukraine. I offered him to film tutorials and so we are trying it out. We've only done a few videos so far

loved your tour Yana! So funny you post this now because I was just looking some different shelves for my stamps/die. Going to look at the ones you use to see if that would work for me. I need something that will hold a lot of weight lol
I know you said you didn't like the organizer you have your SSS Pawsitively Inks in, but it looks like there might be enough room to keep the re-inker right next to the ink pad. Just a thought. Thanks for the tour of your beautiful space!
Yana, my head is exploding with ideas and organizing inspriration. I'm more like Kathy Zielske...I have the "Crafting Corner of Madness/Living Room!" LOL THAT peg board is genius. I really do have give it a look and see how I can incorporate it into my corner. I did have a question for you, what is the camera you are using to shoot your videos? Thank you, thank you for your tour!
I have THREE 5X5 kallax for ALL of my stamps - in the Jennifer McGuire 16" deep fridge bins. I love them. I agree they're not very useful when connected to a desk. But I have them as standalone and couldn't live without them. Your room is fabulous and you've used every bit of space well.
I have a 5 x 5 kallax and have long cd boxes in mine which are just the depth of the cubby and fit 2 wide x 2 tall. They're perfect for fiddly clear stamps and smaller sets. I have wire shop display racks in another cubby for reinkers, distress paint and stickles, one row of 5 cubbies with plastic stackable 12x12 paper trays and the next 5 row up, A4 stackable trays, so all my card is in colour order. 3rd row up has Really Useful stackable trays which fit 3 tall and have all those annoying little containers of embossing powder, glitter, perfect pearls, etc in them. My bigger stamps are in clear bins on the top of the kallax. My order of a raskog, rashult & 5 Alex drawers arrives next week which will be great as there's a rather large dolls house plonked in the middle of the room at the moment! It will just fit on the wide Alex. The castors will be great for rotating while I wire it, but they're out of stock of castor ones, or separate castors for the 4 narrow drawers . Bah....
Love your craft room. Looks organized and well maintained. I noticed you have covers on your blending brushes. That is a cool idea so they don't gather any dust while they are waiting to be used the next time. I have been thinking of looking for something to protect the brush bristles when not in use. Do you buy those separately?
very nice! How do you like the Spellbinder's PL-001 die cutting/embossing machine? I am contemplating between that one and the smaller version. I currently have a ancient Sizzix that, I think, has seen better days. Not sure why I would need the large one, however, as I just cut paper and occasionally felt.. :)
Hi Yana, you have expanded a lot!!! Looks nice and tidy.I cantwait for ikea to come to NZ ,HOPE to be first in line, have to wait another 18 months. Happy crafting . stay safe.
What is the big machine on rollers underneath your tripod table? Enjoyed the tour! Just received 2 of your new glimmer plates & anxious to use them🤗. Keep up the awesome work!
Love your room!! Thank you for the idea for the 2nd row risers on the peg board shelves! So simple and so helpful! May I ask where you purchased your photo boards? I’m looking for some ideas.
Thank you for sharing. I love my 3 tier rolling carts. I have my area in my family room. I can roll them over and away to my work area. One has stuff for embossing, I have the wooden cover to keep my switch on top. one is for cricut supplies and one is for stencils and ink blending supplies. May I ask what tripod you have over your work station? Does it hold your phone, camera or tablet? I'm looking for something strong enough to hold my 10.2 iPad.
Oh yes! Rolling carts are indeed amazing. I will have to look into getting a top for my cart, that sounds like a nice idea. As for a tripod - I got it years ago at a garage sale for $5. It only holds my camera, it does not have attachments to hold a phone or a tablet.
@@Yana.Smakula ok. Thank you. They make white or wood lids to go with the rolling carts and they have storage containers that also attach to the sides.
Your craft room is amazing, Yana! I love how you store your foil and I’m looking forward to seeing that new foil storage solution that you quickly mentioned! Thanks so much for sharing! 💕
We've used it twice so far. For painting 2 walls white in this room and for re-painting a broken vase. It is an amazing tool, but too big and too noisy 😁
Haha, it is an air compressor for painting. I wanted to re-paint the walls in the hallway, and hubby wanted to re-paint the ceiling. We got it last summer, but havent really used it to the full potential (it probably was the most stupid purchase we ever made, we could have bought a smaller one). I like to do home remodel (we put the white floors and baseboards ourselves) so we often buy these types of tools.
Awesome craft room, Yana! Best tip for me was making a second tier for the peg board shelves, so that you could see the second row of products and don't have to dig through to find something. That's what is most frustrating for me in my craft room so you can bet I'll be using that tip. Thanks for taking the time out of your hectic schedule to share Yana. Take care...gentle hugs from Canada
I love the accessibility of shelves and pegboard systems, but worry about dust. Would be interested to hear from those who use this storage method about maintaining the space.
I have a lot of open shelves and also the peg boards and I don’t have mayor problems with dust. But I keep a swiffer duster nearby if it really gets dusty.
When I bought it several years ago it was sold as a one piece and it was called a workstation. It included all the attachments, I didnt buy anything additional.
Whatever happened to the IKEA tower that had drawers in it and you used to store your stamps in it? When I first saw it in your craft room IKEA had already stopped selling it. I searched high and low for it and never found one. I secretly held on to the hope that one day, I would inherit yours. 😁😁😁
Haha! You are funny. I gave it away. The problem with that tower was that it was not stable, you'd have to attach it to the wall (and I dont remembee if it has the wall attachments). It was very practical for sure, but too easy to knock over.
@@Yana.Smakula Yeah my craft room is all white and things are mostly put away because I have the brain of a squirrel and get distracted too easily! lol and of course for the pics
Creative people don't have a mess, they have ideas lying around everywhere!!! I think this quote is a great excuse 😂
LOL! I love your take on this! Thank you :)

We got it last summer, but havent really used it to the full potential (it probably was the most stupid purchase we ever made, we could have bought a smaller one). I like to do home remodel (we put the white floors and baseboards ourselves) so we often buy these types of tools.
Where did you get your marker storage?!
Please do an acrylic pour video!
I will try ❤ it is sooo addictive!
What did you use to connect the Kallax Shelf unit with the tabletop?
When I bought it several years ago it was sold as a one piece and it was called a workstation. It included all the attachments, I didnt buy anything additional.
I googled and currently this is what it says on the IKEA website -
LINNMON connection fitting, sold separately.
Fun thanks for sharing
Thank you!
Excellent💯👍👏
Whatever happened to the IKEA tower that had drawers in it and you used to store your stamps in it? When I first saw it in your craft room IKEA had already stopped selling it. I searched high and low for it and never found one. I secretly held on to the hope that one day, I would inherit yours. 😁😁😁
Haha! You are funny. I gave it away. The problem with that tower was that it was not stable, you'd have to attach it to the wall (and I dont remembee if it has the wall attachments). It was very practical for sure, but too easy to knock over.
Me encanta 😍😍😘😘
TFS!!😍❤
white on white on white 😎😎😎
it works for filming videos :D The rest of the apartment is painted in wildly bold colors
@@Yana.Smakula Yeah my craft room is all white and things are mostly put away because I have the brain of a squirrel and get distracted too easily! lol and of course for the pics
@@Yana.Smakula oh and hopefully we see these wild colors one day! you're definitely one of my all time favorite designers!
