- Hi crafty friends! I am doing something a little different today. I know a lot of people really enjoy watching how other people organize their spaces (me included!), so I thought it would be fun to give you all a tour of my crafty space!

Hello from New Zealand, Charlene! I just loved seeing your Craft Room Tour. It is all so lovely and tidy and filled with all crafter’s delights. Once in a while my husband will buy a lottery ticket. For me it would be just the opportunity to receive the dream Craft Room of my life. I am always trying to reorganise to make room for things without feeling such a frown over the fact that my Craft Room is an ex guest room and not too much room at all. If we ever did win the lottery we would build on a couple of new additions on our home….one for a decent Craft Room for myself and a very large room for all of my husband’s hobbies and pastimes, and a place where he could happily relax and play his guitar. I wish you so much love and fun in your special place, Charlene. It is absolutely gorgeous and I thank you so very much for sharing it all with all of us, your fans! What a beautiful office! I am just rebuilding mine after a recent move, and I love your open layout! At 6:45 on the video, the four drawer, cardboard chest will stay in place easier if you attach it to your desk with command strips. Then they pull right off if you want to move it.

Nice work space! I like the way all of the work surfaces are cleared. I also try to store all of my supplies away, safe from light and dust damage. Many crafters have items stored out in the open and piled high. I couldn’t concentrate in those spaces…too distracting! Your space is nice and calm.

You are so lucky, you have my dream craft room! I too enjoy having all my supplies organised and easily accessible for easy use, I have a very small space, duel purpose dining room/table so have to keep minimal and organised! Lucky we don't use the table too often!

I just happened across your video. Love your room. I’m just starting my adventure into card making so there is so much I need to learn. I do more sewing, machine embroidery but at Christmas I made an embroidered card and now I’ve gone down the rabbit whole. I just wish my room was half as big as yours with as much light. But I’ve got you beat as for dogs. I have two, one mini poodle that lays on a bed next to my chair and a toy poodle that lays on a bed on top of my desk. They both have to be with me and I would miss them if they weren’t.

Wow, that is a great craft room. I am feeling envious! I also have a nice big room, but it is also my office (I telework most days) and a guest room which I need occasionally. So I end up not having a great space for organizing my craft stuff. Like you, I have lots of cricut stuff, but have been more focused on card making. I think I need to go through some of that and think about what I want to keep and what may need a new home.
You did give me a couple ideas for things I could do to pull some of it together.

Beautiful room and great organization! Can you tell me what model of printer you have and your opinion on it?
Thanks! 🙂 I have an EPSON 2720 that I converted for sublimation printing. For my regular printing I have an EPSON 2760. It works well for an inkjet printer and the ink lasts a really long time. I do have to run the ink head cleaning cycle every once in awhile. I haven’t ever had an inkjet printer that doesn’t have that issue though. 🤷🏻♀️
Lovely workspace! What do you use for your photography background and how do you keep it standing up on the table?
Thank you! I use Replica Surfaces. They have little brackets to purchase that go with them. 🙂
