I may be thinking WAYYYYY too deep into this, but I think what this story is ultimately about is the theme of repetion and change. Hear me out. Emo and Black acts as opposites. Emo has been profitting of Chichis slutty nature and kept living a depressing life. He seems unfaced by the whole thing, perhaps apathetic and even proud of doing so (example when he and Slick discusses more opportunities for more money). In reality however due to his dad being...not the best parent and husband during his childhood caused a cycle with Chichi trying fill an empty part of her through sex, eventually becoming FAR too slutty for a lot of people, to the point where Emo could not recognise her any more. Emo was not happy about any of this and has problably been dealing with this for years now. He problably at some point in his life, almost gave up on the idea of having a normal family, keyword being "almost". Instead of maybe talking with his parents, friends (maybe even a therapist, asuming if he has/had one) or anyone for that matter, he instead tried to stop showing any sign of positive emotions, started smoking, drinking, selling Dai merch and somehow got his voice REALLY deep. He has been doing this for a while and would have problably kept doing it, if it weren't for you know who. When Black asks him if he dosen't want a normal mother, all Emo could respond was "I dont know". It's not that Emo dosen't want a normal mother, he does want that, but maybe he either believed that it was impossible or was simply just afraid of being let down. When Chichi acknowledges that she needs to change and tells Emo that she is proud of him (even though he did pimp out his mom for money and only wanted her back for money earlier), it's the first time he shows genuine emotions (or y'now 2nd or third if we count tequila and slick). Black on the other hand is an obsessed extremist. The first time we meet him he is soft spoken, acts nice to emo and announces Chichis reformation. Cut to when Emo returns with tequila in hand and tells him about the dog gps, Black (and by assumtion the people watching) wonders if Black really is the villain. Short to the point, yes, yes he is. When Black is alone with Chichi, he talks about how he travelled the multiverse and adored the many Chichis in these universes in contrast to slut Chichi. In the second to last episode his frustrations reaches the boiling point and this is where Black goes from somewhat extreme but also somewhat reasonable, to psychoticly extreme. Once he slapped her with the book and announces that he would shoot a beam through her brain, Black pretty much revealed what he was. Simply put the guy went through some awfull stuff in the past and as such, grew an obsession about that every Chichi in each universes needed to be exactly how he believes "how a chichi should be". Having an exeption to HIS rule was inexcusable in his eyes. The guy problably had the idea, but he did not show any form of respect to her (and yeah neither did Emo for a while, but that's besides the point) and treated her like if she was an abomination. He simply didn't understand her as a person or even tried to, unlike Emo. Emo continued the cycle, while Black forced her to change through unethical means. What Chichi said was right. Although she is by no means perfect (absolutely not), she is right by saying she needed to change how she went about her life (including her sex life), but also that she needed to do so in a more natural and over all, a less extreme way. Just like normal people should. A few more things. 1. I took some time editing some things in my comment, to make it better, even if it costed the ❤, or at least on my end. RUclips is weird sometimes. 2. I like how when Emo says "the pink ones are usually the craziest" and look and behold, Black can go Super saiyan Rose~. FORSHADOWING MAYBE??? 3. That Naruto stoneface parody makes me imagine that it represents Emos mental state and how he generally felt for a long time. Maybe just a coincidence.

Yeah, I feel like Emma Breezy’s mic was a few notches too loud, especially in the second episode. Then again, might’ve also been a mixing error on Daito’s part, since in later episodes, the audio is less loud.
The sixth and seventh episodes were animated in blender and later on for gohanverse season 2 and the gohanverse Ova's, while the first five episodes were made in Source Film Maker (SFM)
We appreciate this comment!! Even though we aim towards comedy and with our "out-there humor", we do our best to have a decent story behind the antics. However, as we progress through The Gohanverse, we are adding more drama. Because as much we love to laugh; we love to have the 'feels' even more!!
