You mean making this pudding vanilla flavoured? I tried but you can taste the egg whites, cocoa is quite good at covering that sulfate taste.

Maria’s recipe calls for whole boiled eggs. You get the nutrition from the yolks as well. Your recipe is a good alternative to use on PSMF days, though. Thank you.

Simply brilliant like Maria Emmerich but without boiling whole eggs, blending in a power blender and then risking the eggy taste!! I tried this method instead and it's now a part of my dessert staple! I use Maria's panko pork rinds pie crust recipe from her chocolate French Silk pie and put this chocolate pudding in there instead. Amazing!! Thank you!

I tried this recipe and i was really surprise how the texture is so spot on as the normal pudding. I however messed up your recipe and added 100g of cocoa. I know my fault. Nonetheless I added more egg white and sweetener and it worked. When the eggs cooked it reminded me of steamed pudding. After I blended it came together and it was good like normal pudding. Thank you once again.

Hi Dani I think this recipe is ingenious! Thank you soooo much for sharing (and thank you to your Mum!). The really brilliant recipes are ones with few ingredients and few steps because we all have other meals in the day, other jobs etc etc. Who has time for complicated? Or for a load of left over egg yolks?
