I absolutely adore Tomato and the Science Team trying to Steam Hams their way through that inspection. Maybe my favorite round of Tomato’s SS13 games I’ve seen
I was a gang leader for the first half of the round at 3:11:31 and for some reason the game only spawned me with one of my boys. Every few minutes I'd try recruiting a new member from the ghost pool, only for it to refund my points because it couldn't find anyone who signed up. Which is *real* weird, given it was a gang round. And now I know. I couldn't recruit anybody new because all the ghosts were being reincarnated as santiago.
I had the same thing happen, spawned as gang leader with one other dude and spent all game trying to recruit new members. We ended up getting in a huge fight with security at the end and won.
I'm so impressed by Tomato surviving that artifact turning his lungs into goop, so many things went right to save his life. He left for medical just in time, ran into that helpful guy in the hallway who carried him the rest of the way, then the doctors knew what to do to heal him. The doctors almost left his original lungs inside him, but honestly they did a great job all things considered.

4:32:44 this santiago clone touched the black artifact at the bottom left hand side next to the window and it infested his body with alien spiders eating him from the inside out LMAOOOOO
Best round ever was back in the day. Tomato was detective and managed to hire a hit on himself, through uber eat. All whilst never leaving his office and getting every HoD involved.

I mean, if you put his voice over some show, cartoon, or anime character with a frog like mouth when he does that deeper voice tone he does at times, I'd say yeah, man SOUNDS like a FROG!
Went to watch the stream after I was done playing for the day curious if I'd pop up anywhere. MFW I was injected with prions infront of a live studio audience 1:02:42 .peaked.
In one round you missed "The Accident" due to plasma exposure and had to play coverup from both the inspector and HOP, next you stumble onto a clone artifact and fill 1/5 of the station with clones of yourself, your colleague, and a chef. The clones cause chaos, kill eachother, get killed, then end up with jobs and work as normal. Seeing clone scientists, a clone janitor, even somehow a clone becomes captain all offscreen on their own adventures while you just stay locked up in ArtSci. This is quite possibly the best 2 rounds of SS13 I've ever seen, and I've watched a LOT of SS13.
idk man i played ss14 yesterday and it was just as fun but a little fancier and it runs like an actual videogame not a slideshow. it was pretty awful like a year ago but it's cool now
SS13 has more content for sure, but SS14 is the future. Better codebase, based devs, better engine. Eventually SS14 will surpass 13, it even matches it's player numbers. And best of all: SS14 can run on linux :>
As someone who's never played SS13 and has spent over 1000 hours on SS14, I didn't understand why Tomato wouldn't just play SS14 instead, but after watching literally all his SS13 streams I finally understand
I really wanna know who did the floor clown bit, and how, that was hilarious. and not only that, the fact they didnd't make it a "only one person ever saw it" bit to make him look insane, is even better XD!
It took me a little bit to really get into those SS13 streams, like TTT, but after a while, they kind of became my favorites (like TTT, also bring back TTT too).
my hubby and i have been playing the SPT coop mod, it works very well. just some sync issues with mods like the one that lets you shoot open doors. i can blast open a door but it doesnt open for him so he has to shoot it himself or i have to manually open it for him.

Strangely enough he would have been mostly fine if he had stayed there for a bit. Those lungs breath plasma instead of oxygen.
