because we know that isn’t long term what makes someone a starter in this league isn’t random 40 point games and sure 3 in a row is cool but it’s being consistent
Bol bol looked decent in the start of the season but later on his weaknesses would expose him. He's not a threat inside and he has a skinny frame. Defensively he struggles. He can't hit his shots. Wendell and Goga also Wagner have been far better.
Yes but when he isn’t hitting his shots he’s quite literally useless. He doesn’t pass or rebound. He isn’t a good defender either. It’s just hard to play him if he isn’t hitting shots.
When Cam was starting, he was also averaging five rebounds and three assists, so to say that he only looks for his shot and doesn't add much else is just not accurate.
100% correct!! I don't remember which game was it that he scored over 40 pts- that Nic Claxton got lots of passes from Cam Thomas, and Nic had a great night scoring high in pts and rebounds. Thing is, if Thomas sees an opening he will shoot because he's an aggressive player. He doesn't hesitate like other players do, and he trust his ability 100%.
If u watched the last 5 minutes of the game when he had 47 on the clippers that showed me exactly why he wasn’t playing if his shot ain’t falling there’s NO reason to have him on the court 💯
I got real sick of hearing all the Bol Bol bullshit hey, he's not a good player. Everyone holding onto this idea of him being good simply because he's long, can dribble and shoot. He's not NBA level.
Respectfully this is a nasty take. Considering at minimum Bol bol is a super tall spot up three point shooter, that can also play solid help defence + rim protection but gets cooked on the perimeter and guarding the post... If he reaches his potential he could become a similar prospect to that of Wembanyama but less athletic but better shooting. He is surely at least a solid NBA role player. He doesn't get minutes because magic has a lot of players that can fill Bol's role.
Cam thomas doesnt do much outside of isolation scoring. The DNPs he's getting are due to that. If he cant beat his guy 1 on 1 he's hardly an nba player
Blows my mind there are fans so stupid to want Thomas to waste more shots when bridges is showing he’s way better and scores more efficiently. Clowns think Thomas is being benched for no reason and y’all hyping 3 games from him when mikal has been scoring better on the Nets with more than just 3 games.
It's not that Lonnie didn't work out in SA, it's that his agent works for Lebron and convinced him to go to the Lakers to help him out. SA would have kept Lonnie and he probably would have been a starter all year. Shame really.
Lonie was benched because of his HORRIBLE plus minus. The impact wasn't there. Lonie plus minus on was -6.6. Which is horrible. And lonie plus minus on/off was a horrible minus 10.7. In other words, lakers were losing lonie minutes by 6.6 points per 100 possesions and the team was better by 10.7 net points per 100 posseions when lonie was on the bench. Simple as that. Lonie had one of the worst impacts on the floor on the team. Only players on the team with worst impact were max christie, juan toscano anderson, davon reed and damian jones.
It’s not crazy he does this against 3rd string players and not to mention they don’t equal to wins!!! He still has to develop and he needs to go do that elsewhere we good here in Brooklyn he’s not our answer
Regardless of Cam’s defense which can be covered up slightly by his teammates there isn’t no way he should be in and out of the rotation Cam should be like 7th or 8th man off the bench
Cam Thomas don't have the look to the league that's why he got bench has nothing to do with his talent they pick players based on the way they look these days

Must get better on that end.
@@garrisona5669 yeah? Well so does Donavan Mitchell. You going to basically bench him after 3 straight 40point games? How good is Dame Lillard on defense? Come on now
@@StevenEvens7125 it ain’t just his defense, Cam literally don’t do nothin else but score. Mitchell and Dame are both great scorers who can also facilitate
@@JstKole I'll give you that
Yeah especially if your season isn’t that important like the Nets. Like I could understand if they were trying to find the best squad for a championship run and didn’t see him fitting.
Meanwhile Ben Simmons when he wants to play always get minutes
I think cam just doesn’t fit on the nets, either he goes to the g league for development or an offseason trade to the heat, knicks or any tanking franchise.
Definitely not the Knicks, since Cam’s defense is awful, Thibodeau certainly won’t play him at all
My guess is that a team has already put their bid in for cam Thomas and the nets have been instructed to keep him off the floor so he stays fresh. Ain’t no way this dude don’t get play time.
According to Chat AI there has been interest in Cam Thomas from “around the league”. Apparently a quote from someone in the organization after his rookie year. At the time some thought they could get a high pick for him.
Batum was always a better fit. Since he’s been there idk why ty lue continued to start him. He’s much more active on the defensive end trust me. Better shooter now and much better teammate.
i have absolutely no idea why Morris still plays.. he hit his ceiling after he was traded away from the suns.
i really thought bol bol was gonna win most improved!
His teammate Markelle Fultz should be in the running. He went from almost out the NBA to a very good player.
What's been going on with bol bol lately, he was playing solid in the first half of the season, what happened?
@@KH-ou4st As much as I want Bol Bol to succeed. For his height he just isnt that good.
@@SomePayrollGuy .. ?? There’s only 1 player his height or taller that’s definitively better than him(Kristaps), Everyone Else are sub par role players
@@KH-ou4st he can put up stats bt he doesn’t play well in the flow of the game. You can see it just watching him. And Magic got too much front court
Cam not disciplined, he throw up wild shots like he at KD/Kyrie status and he doesn’t have the best ball control. He can score it just not his place to chuck all difficult shots when there are players set for those challenges and are disciplined at it like Joe Harris or Mikal Bridges. Cam Thomas scoring like that best fit for a losing team. But he can get it right and do it as that guy with the team looking to him as the guy. Just gotta trust himself, the coaches and trust his teammates more.
Morris actually breaks my heart he was fucking solid, both him and his brother. Personally though I feel his brother his brother is more vocal on the court. But Morris had like this explosive energy and could back it cause he could actually play. Like most players he probably got paid and just got to comfortable.
Well said love this video and the players mentioned
Ngl I haven’t seen the video yet but hopefully you understand that there are players in the league that shouldn’t be and old players they’re pushing out too early
It’s crazy batum is much older than morris but yet he hasn’t slowed down yet
I been saying since 2021-22 that Cam Thomas has to be the main guy or else he won’t be effective. He’s horribly inefficient and cannot pass and is reliant on rhythm/streakyness. He’s either your number one guy and he’ll take you to the first round of the playoffs or he’s a below average bench player.
If Luka and Dame can’t get you to the first round ain’t no way Cam getting you there lol. If he your number 1 option then you are basically the Rockets
@@Shortballa11 yo true tbh lol yeah so even more reason to believe Cam was overhyped by the media
if he’s the number 1 option, it’s a team going 17-65 😂
@@RealJuiceWrld not even the media. Nobody in media is talking about him outside of clowns in RUclips who can only bring up a 3 game stretch. People really think having 3 high scoring games is that crazy when in reality it happens a lot with guts you don’t hear about.
@@flockaveli15 yeah I think every single guy in the NBA could score 20+ pts on any night if he was made the main focal point on offence. I saw a really good argument about it, where basically everyone in the NBA is talented enough to be the main guy (most of them were the 1st option in Highschool/College/Overseas) but the reason they aren't in the NBA is because there is someone else who can be the main guy but better if that makes sense. See Jeremy Lin, phenomenal run but lacked left handed scoring so that's why he wasn't the *best* first option. Not that he couldn't be the first option, just that there are people that can do what he can do with less flaws.
Cam said “No Homo” on Live TV n got his minutes reduced immediately after that
Lonnie gotta play more he’s a great player
Sup Caine hope you been good cheers man
Cam just dropped 40 again 5 days later 😂
With the roster they had while he was on his little hot streak was really set up for him to just get buckets, now the roster has more structure
Someone I don’t hear getting talked about is Jaden Hardy for the Dallas Mavericks
He's a rookie on a non-playoff team. What is there to say?
@@hiddenpotentialproject806 when he’s gotten actual minutes this season he’s been dropping 20+ on good efficiency but Kidd refuses to give him constant minutes
When Reggie Jackson first came to Detroit in 2014 i believe, I thought he was the best kept secret in the nba.. But then he got hurt and never was the same. He was productive, but not a allstar level player.
You’ll see cam get more minutes next year but mikal averaging 28 ppg since the trade and he shooting 50 40 90.. Vaughn gotta figure out the system and he’ll adjust it more. This a trail run, nobody expect Brooklyn to still be good lol
COME TO BOSTON
Cam Thomas come to Boston
lmao i forgot what team reggie jackson played for until you mentioned it. The overrated Buy out market strikes again
Your not kidding about the Buyout Market getting over rated. Bucks picked up Goran Dragic only for him to get 2 minutes a game in garbage time.
because we know that isn’t long term what makes someone a starter in this league isn’t random 40 point games and sure 3 in a row is cool but it’s being consistent
Bol bol looked decent in the start of the season but later on his weaknesses would expose him. He's not a threat inside and he has a skinny frame. Defensively he struggles. He can't hit his shots. Wendell and Goga also Wagner have been far better.
They did cam dirty that man said no homo and his career ain’t been the same
And Cam Thomas dropped another 46pts
Against 3rd string players in a lost AGAIN lol his 40 pt games aren’t wins let’s stop being delusional to the facts
@@88ntil wow you're a Clown 🤡 😅
"No h**o" is the root of Cam Thomas's misfortune.
Nets should play cam dawg. Boy was ballin fr fr
Yes but when he isn’t hitting his shots he’s quite literally useless. He doesn’t pass or rebound. He isn’t a good defender either. It’s just hard to play him if he isn’t hitting shots.
@@mr.longjohn0014 he’s more useful than ben Simmons
@@mikelsales3599 very true but seeing how useless ben is that isn’t saying much
I thought Ben Simmons would be included in this one tho. Cam would still be a great starter.
Clips have too much talent tbh. They're overloaded and any one can get you 16-20pts with minutes. That's hard to balance and work in injured stars
They aren’t even that talented. It’s just all their players do the exact same thing.
If Nets want to trade Cam Thomas I like him on my Knicks on the bench
When Cam was starting, he was also averaging five rebounds and three assists, so to say that he only looks for his shot and doesn't add much else is just not accurate.
100% correct!! I don't remember which game was it that he scored over 40 pts- that Nic Claxton got lots of passes from Cam Thomas, and Nic had a great night scoring high in pts and rebounds. Thing is, if Thomas sees an opening he will shoot because he's an aggressive player. He doesn't hesitate like other players do, and he trust his ability 100%.
One dimensional scorers don't do well in a league were scoring is promoted. Its the intangibles that keeps you in rotation. AAU has ruined the game
I'm sure yall will see Morris play when the Clippers play against the Suns. He plays very well against his former team. He still hates them
If u watched the last 5 minutes of the game when he had 47 on the clippers that showed me exactly why he wasn’t playing if his shot ain’t falling there’s NO reason to have him on the court 💯
It's simple. Jacque Vaughn has a hard on for his starting 5. Everyone else on the bench might as well be Ben Semens and not show up at all.
I got real sick of hearing all the Bol Bol bullshit hey, he's not a good player. Everyone holding onto this idea of him being good simply because he's long, can dribble and shoot. He's not NBA level.
Which nba team do u scout for?
Respectfully this is a nasty take. Considering at minimum Bol bol is a super tall spot up three point shooter, that can also play solid help defence + rim protection but gets cooked on the perimeter and guarding the post... If he reaches his potential he could become a similar prospect to that of Wembanyama but less athletic but better shooting. He is surely at least a solid NBA role player. He doesn't get minutes because magic has a lot of players that can fill Bol's role.
Nah this been the truth and ppl don’t wanna admit it
Why doesn't your channel have more subs. You are better than most of these people who do this. Flight mike is great too I'm not gonna lie.
appreciate it seriously but l stopped upload for multiple years. i'm lucky to even have people still wanting to watch.
*Ain't shit Funny*
Cam thomas doesnt do much outside of isolation scoring. The DNPs he's getting are due to that. If he cant beat his guy 1 on 1 he's hardly an nba player
Cam and Lonnie need more minutes
Bro they need to let cam develop he can turn into a defender and passer but not if he ain’t trusted
The nets need a real coach
It's not that Lonnie didn't work out in SA, it's that his agent works for Lebron and convinced him to go to the Lakers to help him out. SA would have kept Lonnie and he probably would have been a starter all year. Shame really.
Rich fucking Paul and his company (Klutch Sports) are a menace to society
and his last game cam dropped another 40 pts game lol
Biggest mystery here is why tf Reggie Jackson is not playing.
Vaughn is a defensive coach. We don't like undersized guards that don't can't defend
Doubt he will improve under JV.
Cam playing hero ball and no defense
Ain’t shit funny for Cam Thomas
teams need someone who can do mulltiple things... not only score..
cams shot selection is terrible
@Ja Jyrone cam does have a bad shot selection but that doesn’t give you the coach a reason to DNP him after he had 3 40 point games
@@breezy4169 His DNPs does not come after his 3 40 point games.
@@breezy4169 go actually look at the box scores and stop imagining.
Cam no homo comment cost him everything
They benched cam thomas because he said no homo thats a fact, after that night his minutes got lower and lower
Bol Bol needs to buff up like Giannis.
The cam situation is crazy
he just dropped 40 again too today to make things even crazier
@@1437ikl he needs to go to another team … no way he should be riding the bench
It’s not crazy he does this against 3rd string players and not to mention they don’t equal to wins!!! He still has to develop and he needs to go do that elsewhere we good here in Brooklyn he’s not our answer
Is it fair to say put Bol in the G League?
Regardless of Cam’s defense which can be covered up slightly by his teammates there isn’t no way he should be in and out of the rotation Cam should be like 7th or 8th man off the bench
The game is simple until you become a professional attitude contracts and knowing the game scoring for a scorer will not keep you in league
I think he can play a clarkson role as a 6th man but theres more then just scoring and dropping 40 points when u cant playmake or defend.
Mikal don’t play defense or pass he can only score and the nets don’t need scoring
Sports books love Ty Lue.
no matter what he needs his minutes
Cam would be great if he can play d. Don't gotta pass the hall if u shooting 60% and 40 from three. But u gotta play some defense.
Seth curry, joe Harris don’t play defense. Cam should at least be taking their minutes
Lonnie is now the owner of the warriors
Cam Thomas don't have the look to the league that's why he got bench has nothing to do with his talent they pick players based on the way they look these days
I knew Lonnie was goin to be on this list
"to score 30 straight 40 pt games" aahahahahha
Caine plz don't go.

If u not going to play Cam trade him so he flourish somewhere else. Kessler is playing more with the Kings so they should do the same for Cam.
