Cleaning a Caravan Roof Faster

In this weeks video we delve into a rough and ready way to clean your caravan or motorhome roof a little faster. Cleaning a caravan roof is no-ones favorite job. Hopefully this video will make it a little easier and whatever you do; make sure you take gloves...sadly I didnt but still, managed to get the job done. Cleaning a caravan has to be one of the most rewarding jobs you can do, especially when your about to take your sparkling white box away on holidays.

I know it’s a case of “if I don’t look at it it can’t be dirty” ha ha ha - good luck with it hope it doesn’t take too long and buy lots of cloths 😁😁 and don’t forget gloves ha ha

Good way of cleaning the roof quickly, defiantly use gloves next time! Was there a vent cover missing? near to where you were videoing from.

Thanks for the comment, the cover was bright green so took it off and soaked it while I did the roof, came up a treat fair play. Definitely wear gloves next time, I had hands like the hulk ha ha

Why not use a full van cover and avoid this all together? Also why not use a small pressure washer?

Hi Mark thanks for the comment, a little reticent to use a pressure washer on a van as I would be concerned about damaging seals and water ingress for vents etc. Plus we would have no way of plugging in on the storage site. We also decided not to get a cover as found it to be a pain when it came to fitting it properly and storing. Obviously video is intended for those without a cover and hose of any kind which is the bracket we fall into; gold exercise though (at least that’s what I tell myself when grafting on the roof.
