@@rekcinol my current arozzi chair is now breaking after ~2-3 years of use, the arm rests are cracking the pleather material is showing wear, and the worst part is, the castor mounts on one or two of the legs has bent, so no matter what castors I put in there the chair leans slightly. And no matter where I orient that lean it's messing with my back.

I got this same chair on eBay for $1100 shipped to my door. I don’t think I would spent $1500 for this chair... actually, now that I have sat in it for a few hours, I would spend that much for this chair. It was awesome to find it brand new for hundreds less! Mine was brand new from eBay for $1100 and that breaks down to $93/yr for 12 yrs which is justifiable. I’m glad I bought this chair. I spend about 8+hrs per day sitting in front of my desk because I work from home permanently as a sales rep for one of the largest insurance company’s in the United States.

@@rekcinol I’ve had this chair for a week now and I sit in it everyday. I have not found one downside to the chair with the exception of the blue back color but it’s something I have grown to like. It’s definitely an easy way to tell this chair apart from the other Embody chairs. I like the neoprene fabric over the cloth. What do you think?
I haven’t sat in the normal Embody so I can’t compare personally. I think this one has more cushioning in it from what I’ve read and the seat has the cooling foam which I like.
@@rekcinol I have both the original Embody and the Gaming version. I've had my original one for over 5yrs and I don't know if it's bc the chair is used but the back is not as stiff as the gaming version. I don't think that it's due to age bc 5yrs shouldn't make a huge difference but my original is def not as stiff as the gaming and the gaming version has more padding on the back and the seat pan. Either way, I love my Embody's.
@@rekcinol do you have the Logitech version with the extended foam in the seat pan or is yours missing the extended seat pan when it the base is extended? Just curious. Mine was manufactured in 4/12/2021 so it came with the extended seat pan.

If you can you should probably see if there are any used office furniture warehouse in your area. The one in my area had a bunch of Herman Miller Aeron and Steelcase Leap.

Check out the autonomous ergochair 2. Also, think of it this way, this chair has a 12-year warranty and you are likely to buy 2-3 other chairs during that same time. Most Herman Miller products last a very long time. Thanks for checking out the review!

This chair is expensive, but with the 12years warranty, I feel like the investment is worth it. What arms are you using for your monitors ? I've been searching for a long arm so I can put my ultrawide monitor over my other screens (I'm tired of it being vertical)

I use both and I have two of the mounts, one for the main monitors and another for the side monitor, camera, and Elgato key light air.
Appreciate the very detailed review! I tend to sit straight or even lean forward slightly while gaming, do you find this chair gives enough back support while doing that? I've gone through multiple office chairs and found that for most I have to be leaning slightly back for the back rest to even touch my back at all like @ 3:39. and I just don't find that comfortable while gaming.
There is an adjustment to stiffen the back but it sounds like you might need something that can tilt the chair slightly forward to accomplish what you need. what are you using for office chair mats? probably an uncommon question to ask but I'm ripping through these from Staples.

My Autonomous ErgoChair2 broke at the base of the spine 1 year and 9 months after purchase. Also not enough tailbone support. HMxL Embody on 6 week wait. Hopefully it will live up to its 12 year warranty.

Hi, I just got this chair and I noticed that the front of it where you can extend the seat back and forth makes a lot of noise when I make slight movements. Does yours do this as well? It's really bothering me.
I will occasionally hear noise when I move around but not all the time. Maybe it needs to break in a little more?
Just got mine with a bit of luck (my uncle works for Herman Miller here in Italy so we got it almost for free). So goddamn comfortable, I'm already in love with this chair. Hi! Is the chair quite noisy when moving in it? Other reviews I've seen seem to suggest it's really loud when moving around in it.
It does make noise compared to many other chairs. I wouldn't say it's loud but that is subjective.

Hey man, I have a similar stacked monitor setup. Was considering the embody chair but the one thing that stops me from getting it is the lack of a headrest when looking up. Do you feel any neck strain, is it comfortable to work like this the whole day without the head rest?
I don't have any problems with it but I've never used a headrest much even when the chair has them. I use the top monitor for things I don't have to check often. If you use it a lot then I would see the need for a headrest especially if you wanted to lean back and watch a movie or someone streaming.
if you like to recline with a headrest which I do, I got a Humanscale freedom chair with a headrest. It slides into place, not something I have seen before with an ergo chair. I was looking at the Aeron chair before I sat in a freedom. I upgraded it to have an adjustable arm (really) and more metal vs plastic. Herman Miller, Steelcase, and Humanscale have 15% off work from home (this didn't happen last year) with Humanscale being 20% off now as of date type.

@@rekcinol I just received mine within the last 24 hours. She is heavenly, might I add. One hell of a recommendation. The only complaint I have, is mine arrived without the strap on the back. It's a minor detail, but I actually had intended to use it as a headset strap. I'm actually surprised this wasn't the original intention for it. Keep up the good work my man. Looking forward to future videos.

The MyoChair is a great option and definitely better than any "gaming" chair that I have used.

How low can the chair seat go? I see a lot of their documentation says it can go as low as 16in from the ground to the top of the seat. Can you confirm if yours can go that low?
That’s correct. I just measured and it’s just a bit over 16”.
Do you still use this chair today? I'm mostly curious how comfortable it is leaning all the way back being a bigger guy. I have no doubt that it's supportive sitting up right (as it was intended to be used), but I like to lean back and play on the TV above my monitor setup.
Yes I still use it almost daily. I do tend to sit mostly upright but it would be supportive leaning back as well. The only drawback might be the lack of a headrest when leaning back.

Hey bro! could you tell me if the box which the chair comes with, is "strong" enough to handle a worldwide shipping? or would I have to "secure" it a bit more? (a fast couple days shipping by a good caring company, not some trash shipping), just waiting for that answer so I can order it already :D
I've never shipped something overseas so I'm not sure of that. It's made of normal cardboard and only taped at the seams not stapled so I'd recommend that it would need to be reinforced with another layer of cardboard and heavy duty packaging tape but I'm no expert when it comes to shipping.

Did you try the original embody? if so is there a big difference in the comfort?
I haven't tried the original just the Aeon and a few others. From what I understand this version has more padding, the cooling foam and the adjustable leg depth.

Thank you! I don't have any issue with the leg handle bothering me or hitting my legs. I have grabbed it a couple of times early on when moving the chair in to sit down which can change the position of it. 😄
18-12-2020 so how is the chair to use ?? i am 6'4 250lb and i want to buy it. just that you are the first one not tine person buy it. so plz do tell how it is to use on daily basic :)
I love it more every week. Now that it's broken in I think it's even more comfortable and it's holding up well even with me being a big guy. I've also noticed that it has less squeaks and creeks now that it has broken in.
I the have the older version have you ever sat on that one and could maybe tell me if there is a big difference in comfort?
I haven't ever sat in the original but this version has a little thicker cushioning, cooling foam, and the adjustable leg length so I assume it would be more comfortable.
your desk seems to be way too high considering that the right arm position should be at a 90° angle..
It's a little high but I'm short and since the desk is sitting on the IKEA Alex drawers it cannot go any lower. If I raise the chair height then my legs will not be perpendicular while my feet are flat on the floor. I've thought about getting rid of the drawers and using an adjustable desk in the future.
@@rekcinol The idea is to push up the chair that your armposition is right and then find something to put under your feet.. For me i didn't liked that so i change my desk. I find out that most desks are way too high for my body even if i'm a standard size 1,79m (skinny type).
My old desk was at 75cm and now i have a desk at 65cm(difficult to find). There is very little space between my legs and the desk, this allows me to have the 90° on my arms and on my feet when i'm sitting straight.
My office desk is a standing desk and allows me to go pretty low to get the best ergonomics as well while sitting. Thanks for all the info!

I love it! I think as it's broken in it has become more comfortable and I also don't hear any noises like in the beginning even though they weren't that noticeable to begin with.

Thanks for watching! I feel like it's broke in a bit and is even more comfortable now. It's pretty quiet and does make some occasional noise around the seat and leg adjustment area but nothing constant.
I'm a employee at herman miller and I can tell her first hand these chairs will last a life time. I've had several racing style gaming chairs and they are all marketing shite and turn crap in 6-8months.
Great video, I'm going to wait for them to lower the Price. I thin k when they bring out more styles and colors is when this type will be on sale. I used to have gaming chairs and all of them are trash chairs. Last about 2 years until they come apport on you and the leather or cloth starts to come apport Aswell.
I bought a second one for my WFH office and it's the all black version. I also hope the lower the price at some point.

Thanks for the great review, it is the first I have seen by someone of a similar build to myself. One question does the chair creak as that is a complaint I have seen on several sites of the normal Embody chair and is the one think that has stopped me ordering one up to now.
It does make some noise as there are a lot of plastic parts. I will say that it has become less as the chair has broken in over the last few months. Thanks for watching!

That's correct, I honestly don't notice any noise it makes as it's so minimal. My opinion has only grown stronger towards loving the chair the more I use it. After playing many long sessions in the last couple of weeks it has proven it's worth to me even more by its comfort and build quality.

It’s just as comfortable if not even a little more than in the beginning because it has broken in. It still makes noise but isn’t any worse and I don’t think that will change.

Quick question....I bought the Aeron and the issue I have is that I can't spread my legs wide while sitting, they end up sitting on the plastic and getting uncomfortable. Would the embody allow me to sit with my legs spread and be comfortable?
I don't have that issue with the Embody since the seat cushion is flat and the armrests curve out and away from me. My legs don't touch anything on the sides.
@@rekcinol Great! So just to clarify, you can sit on it with your legs spread far out (manspreading as some call it) and it's comfy for 8+ hours? (I can't remember how long you said you've sat in it for a gaming session.). Thanks for the reply and review!
@@TomBreazeal Yes, I can sit for many hours and be comfortable while taking a few minute break every couple of hours. For reference, while sitting it's about 25" across my lap so that might help but my legs don't touch anything but the seat cushion. I know exactly what you are talking about with the Aeron as it has the curves on the seat near the edges, the Embody doesn't have that.
@@rekcinol Thanks for that! Ya, I was kinda disappointed when I got my Aeron. I watched and read a ton of reviews and that was never even talked about. When you measured the 25", is that with the measuring tape right up against your stomach?

This is the best option for this price point in my opinion. There might be others but I haven't looked at every single one out there. I have experience with many cheap options and also with DXRacer and Autonomous. The Herman Miller beats them all in my opinion but Autonomous is next up if I had to choose something else.

I couldn’t say with certainty but with the leg extension on the seat it should work as well or better than most.
Worth $900 from Madison seating? Also, what tower fan is that in the background? Looks kinda like a Dyson but I didnt' see any purple ones from them.
This same exact chair for $900? If so, that is a steal. Yes, the fan is a blue Dyson, it's about 6 years old so I'm not sure they still make that color.
@@rekcinol It's the standard black (non-logitech branded) version of the chair.
The standard Embody? I haven't used that one before and I believe the major difference is the Logitech version has an extra layer of cooling foam and the leg length adjustment. I'm sure the normal one is also a solid choice.
@@rekcinol I feel like I can probably get by with the standard and save $600+. The chair is from Madison Seating and I believe they're a "gray market" seller. They still offer a 10 year no questions asked warranty on the chair and a 30 day love it or leave it return policy.
Check out the Autonomous Ergo Chair 2, it's a great option and I use one in my office.
which one should I get? this one or the original version? also I saw this version is a bit cheaper than the original version for some reason... no idea which one to pick. hope you can throw a bone :D
To my knowledge, the original version doesn't have the same padding level, cooling foam or the adjustable leg length.

Comes just like I received it and already assembled and there was no pricing anywhere on mine.
Prefer the Aeron. I keep slouching in this chair at work. I have yet to slouch in my Aeron, and I don't have to think about it either

The embody sucks. As soon I sat on it, all I felt was “flat”. My $100 “purple” seat cushion felt better than the embody. The embody looks cool. That’s about it. The Aeron chair is something else though. It’s like a cloud. The Aeron is a must have
I disagree but also know it's not going to be to everyone's liking. The Aeron has zero cushioning but the shape of the seat is more conforming which some will prefer.
What game is that under final thoughts?

Still have it. It’s been two years and I still love it. I actually bought a second one for my office setup. I don’t have any issues with it hurting anything.
