Absolutely love my HM x Logitech Embody in Cyan. I've had it for about 6 months now and hope to get years of use out of it.
As I WFH full-time, I managed to get work to pay for it and it has more or less got rid of my back problems.
I am glad I opted for the Gaming variant due to the thicker fabric. This was something I was aware of beforehand, but for me, it was a case of the fastest delivery and cheapest available at the time - as it was on sale.
I did a ton of research before settling on this chair and one of my sources was your channel. Keep up the good work!

Sounds like the backrest is too upright for you.
Try easing the backrest by using the back knob at the base of the backrest. This should move the backrest back, allowing you to sit in a more relaxed position.
Find a sweet spot where you can sit comfortably.
As you get used to the chair, I think you can try making it more upright. Had a friend who had a similar issue to you, so hope this helps.

I have the regular Embody and it was a vast improvement for my over the Aeron, DX Racer, and other chairs I've had or tried. Since I have damage to my spine due to a life well-lived, I was surprised to find the stiff cushioning to be so comfortable. My only real complaint is also the side-side adjustment of the armrests. I like to lean on them when I have to reach for something (or deal with a mischievous cat) so I really wish they locked into place instead of the notched positions. As complaints go, that is pretty niche.

This video is completely wrong about the cushioning on the seats of the Logitech Embody and standard Embody chairs. The comparison object is chairs before 2021. The standard chair produced after 2022 has the same thickened sponge cushioning as the Logitech gaming chair.

Having said that, what do you think of the choice between these two chairs? Would I die of heat with Amia?

It's not really the design that's terrible with the vantum, it's the cost cutting at too many corners. Small seat depth to save money, regular synchro tilt to save money, cheap mesh to save money, clunky plastic mechanisms to save money. If they hadn't cut corners at every turn, it could have been a great, nice looking chair. I'd have preferred a $1500 chair, rather than a $990 chair that feels like a $500 chair. Free returns, 12 years warranty and manufacturing in the US aren't suited for cheap chairs, so it's understandable, but it's just a bad product in the end.

if only the seat and back were more soft and comfortable and overall had less creaking sound, then the embody would be great. But the chair does not even feel like a 1k chair. It really feels like a scam. I send mine back, had two.. last was the logitech gaming which I thought would fix things but.. both times I wasn't really convinced. Had all the high priced chairs behind me now.. leap v2, fern, embody, aeron remastered.. nothing really convincing for LONG sessions of gaming. Either extremely pain in butt and lower back or just felt cheap. The aeron in c (as and slightly "oversized" chair for me) is the only one that were ACTAULLY comfortable, like a real hammock, if it just didn't had this frame problem.. but with this problem it doesn't seem worth it to spend that kinda money even if it was quite comfy for 2months straight with no pain, sadly. I wish HM would upgrade the aeron and find a solution with the hard frame on the seat. A cushion pad perfectly sized for the Aeron, to go all the way over the frame might be an option but I don't know.. too pricy if I have to find workarrounds because of a design flaw

@@btodtv This is my input in relation to this review.
You mention that the biggest difference between the normal Embody and the gaming Embody is the seat - You go on to tell how you can feel the notes on the normal Embody as opposed to the gaming Embody.
That's not the case anymore, and hasn't been since February 2021 when they updated their regular Embody to add an extra layer of foam.
The biggest difference between these 2 chairs is that the gaming Embody has an extra layer of copper-infused foam. There is also a difference in the fabric of the 2 chairs, but the normal Embody is available in several variants.
At no point do you get around this very thing, which makes these 2 chairs different from each other.
If you have used the chair intensively for 2 weeks, you should be able to tell how his experience with the seat is, compared to the normal Embody (even if it is from before the 2021 update) - Is it hot after several hours, or does the extra layer of copper work - infused foam???
Precisely because this page makes reviews of chairs, and probably also has an interest in providing useful information. Then I don't understand how the above information can be omitted.
My feedback is meant to be constructive and based on what I would expect in a review of this chair, especially when it is made by someone who claims to be an expert.
      Use it or leave it..
And it might also have been worth mentioning that for those who are considering this chair but lack a headrest - It can be purchased via Atlas Headrest (which are former Herman Miller employees who developed it). It matches the chair 100% in terms of color and design.
