      Copy and paste the transient infomation after the master waveform has been clipped

      The clever bit i liked was using the compressor's sidechain input in monitor mode to basically pipe audio from another track, just like Bitwigs Audio Receiver

    The transient trick is wild, makes the tips of the drums sizzle

    You are stupidly good and finding the easiest and most logical solution for problems we never knew we had.😅 That master bit is something else!

    Awesome video as always i learned a ton
    For the transients Instead of 1/128 i use a ms amount because transient length doesn't really change size with BPM for my mixes, also I use a shaper box like this to split the transient off of drums and replace it with a better transient pretty often in the drum bus, and then you can just send the sep transient to the master

    I like how those high pitch reverbed construction drill sounds in the end drop between the rate-modulated sound, sounds a lot like old Vengeance Dubstep Vol 1 SFX power drill samples. Great track overall, I didn't learn much new from this but I love the content as always regardless! Keep making sick videos 👍✨️💜👽💯👌🔥

    hello! in your transient rack, if you make the compressor sidechain input a group track that just contains the drum, instead of the channel of the drum itself, it will not keep playing through if you solo something which makes it less annoying when you're writing c:
    so when you solo something the sends are silent because the group tracks are silent because the children are muted

    I cannot hear the difference between you transient readdition and I’m sure it’s my speakers but the system you’ve developed to automate that process is cool

    Bill, when you're automating resonance to create pitch with numerical values, doesn't that scare you? This makes my head explode. How do you keep something in key? Do you just end up with something chromatic or are you carefully automating pitch values that keep the melody in key? I've stayed away from acid sounds for this specific reason. They sound terrible when I use them melodically in the piano roll, but they sound amazing when I automate the bandpass frequency and decay times. I have 0 experience with a 303 though. I don't quite get it.

    For the transient rack on the master…. Couldn’t you just decrease the attack time on the compressor rather than go to all that effort?

    • @Coiron_Music

      He is not using a compressor but a clipper.

      They're on the same level I would say. You should watch 4 producers 1 sample w/ Virtual Riot and Mr. Bill. They're leagues above all the other professionals. Kinda like Messi and Ronaldo.

    • @illford
      @illford 6 месяцев назад +1

      Mr. Bill is a very technical producer i'd say they work differently but are both equally as knowledgeable

    • @Fink-id6yg
      @Fink-id6yg 3 месяца назад

      To both of you, the remix shows the levels. He changed the drums and looped one sample from the track and called it good. Definitely not the same level.
