I’ve been layering the Lovefest Cherry with their Vanilla 28 and really loving it. It is different from Tom Ford’s Black Cherry but for the difference in price, the Kayali gives me what I’m looking for.
Been loving Kayali Lovefest Burning Cherry 🍒 I don’t get any burning/smokey/campfire notes (thank goodness), but I do get a lot of woods. I get a blast of sour cherry in the opening, which smells very similar to Lost Cherry, but after a few minutes the cherry softens a lot and the woody notes appear and make Lovefest smell quite different than Lost Cherry. I have Lost Cherry and Lovefest and having both doesn’t feel redundant at all because apart from the opening they are quite different. Lost Cherry has a stronger cherry presence and keeps more of the gourmand cherry vibe throughout the entire wear while Lovefest has a prominent woody base. Lovefest is such a cozy and cuddly scent to me and I really enjoy wearing it in the evenings and to bed.
Wow. I couldnt wait for Lovefest to arrive soon in Malaysia. But, have you ever try layering Lovefest with Kayali Vanilla, as what Nicole try in this video? Nicole’s reaction was everythingggggg when she layers those two.
Omg, so glad you talked about the idole nectar, I got that a couple of weeks ago, and I have absolutely LOVeD it, and I definitely pick up the caramel popcorn!!! So good!!!🙌🏼🙌🏼💕
That Burning Cherry by Kayali is bae right now. I don’t know what it is my nose has not found anything worthy to buy from Creed. I think everything I’ve smelled for them smells like cheaper designer fragrances so the prices make me side eye lol. Great video as always ☺️
Oh my gosh you have got to try Bvlgari Baciami launched in 2022 it's an amber vanilla florel that is addicting with crazy longevity. I've bought so many fragrances that you love that are my all time favorites so I believe you will LOVE Baciami. As always you look gorgeous! 💓
I absolutely love Burning 🍒 Cherry!!! I also reviewed it and recommended to layer it with Replica By the Fireplace to add a bit of smokeyniss that I felt was missing or any vanilla/earthy scent really, even SDPP pairs well imo. But I love how sweet and sexy it is by itself (no cough syrup scent lol) and it wasn't overpowering with any patchouli or pepper etc. I am on the hunt for another creamy semi sweet coconut/sandlewood scent like Utopia and so far haven't found anything similar. Either way too floraly, masculine, or overly sweet. If anyone has any recommendations would appreciate it! Love your reviews so so much! I wish I picked up the popcorn coconut scent more in the Lancome one. I just got the new Prada perfume (heavy floral and sweet) and the orange blossom is beautiful but wow does it pack a flower punch
I think Lancome did very well with Idole (minus the bottle design imo). Smells very sophisticated. The only problem is, it is super popular in my country at the moment so i'll skip it for now 🙂
Yes the opening of Lovefest is super similar to Tom Ford. However, it’s been raining like crazy here in Texas, and the last time I wore it, it was sunny and dry as usual; now that it’s “cooler” and humid, the opening was SO much smokier!! Like substantially. It was so cool and I was like wow there’s the burning cherry!! I hadn’t gotten it until then! It was still similar to TF’s opening but not nearly as much as when I wore it in the dry heat. In both climates, the dry down of Lovefest is where it really starts to differ. You get way more woody touches, some of the smokiness mixed with sweetness and tartness of the praline and raspberry and the cherry goes way into the background but still lingers just enough. It’s absolutely one of the best releases this year in my opinion. Both TFLC and Kayali LF are worth having though. They are each beautiful and unique enough to have either.
Paris Paris...oh my gosh my favorite Chanel fragrance. I hope they come out with a travel spray because I had to wrap my bottle in bubble wrap to take it on my trip bc I couldn't be without it. I love it so much! They could also come out with a stronger version. Love! Miss Dior Rose Essence...my first Dior fragrance. Love. Cheroisa 68 I really love that! Reminds me of BR 540.

I am curious about new cherry fragrance but I am obsessed now about another cherry bomb and it’s Wrap me in dreams by HFC. That one is slightly more alcoholic cherry but sooooo delicious, Erin! If you ever tried Ferrero Roche chocolate sweets with cherry in liquor it’s so much like it.👍

The new Dior fragrance is already released here in Germany and I’ve tried it today. It reminded me indeed of the Chanel rouge mist in terms of its silage and longevity. It smells very light, clean and creamy and lasted only about half an hour on my skin. I was quite disappointed.
On the Windflowers fragrance from Creed reminding you of Nomad, I noticed it even has a similar (saddle bag) look to the bottle its self. Nomad by Chloe is such a beautiful smell to me. I’m going to smell the Creed one next time I go into Saks for sure! I love the name Windflowers.
I have discovered more oriental fragrances like Our Bouquet from Lancôme and Magnificent gold from YSL (le vestiaire des parfums) and Our Vanille from Mancera which is the brand of Montale owner's daughter. Erin, can you do another video with all the niche/luxury parfumes you have discovered and the ones you recommend. I know you did a couple of those but you always find hidden gem 💗
I just got my 50ml burning cherry today in the mail and I’ve had the vanilla 28 so I can’t wait to layer them!!! I also own rose prick, and only use it on special occasions haha 400$ that’s a lot for a bottle but I paid it lol I also got a travel size to carry with me too that I still haven’t ran out of. Tom ford ombré leather is one of my top favorites that stay in rotation with me at ALL times! The all black bottle. The leather violet and cedar wood is so beautiful. It’s unisex, and I rock it and get nothing but compliments constantly. It’s very leather heavy but that’s why I love it! Lol
The Idole is really good for a designer. I found Kayali to be totally different than TF LC but they could be sisters. I personally like the Kayali better. Curious to see how you like wearing it Vs the TF. Love love loving your hair and makeup here
I so agree with you on Strawberry Moon! It was not at all what I expected after seeing the marketing and promo images. It smells, I don’t know, just NOT good. I knew it wasn’t going to have any strawberry but it was just so leathery and nothing attractive at the base or top to make it even bearable. Glad I’m not alone

I love your honesty bc I am honest too. I don't think several of te popular Byredo frarances are wort te proce Te Vanille Antique is beautiful and wort it. I also like Slowdance and 11t our by Byredo. I have heard the shower gels are good.

i bought Creed wind flower loved it, i loved tom ford rose D’malfi , and paris paris loved them all . tom ford Rose russi i didn’t get but i bought 2 out of the 3 from the rose collection. i was on a roll . lol
I first started my perfume collection only buying KKW because of the price! I have so many now but only reach for a few every now and then. I have the gardenia one and i really like it! I also have the fig one and it’s more unisex but i think i’ve used it twice 😢 Not my fave
I got the KKW Caramel Orchid & it’s soooo cheap. I don’t love it. It’s good for layering & I like the bottle. It’s a drug store fragrance imo. I do like the petrichor note in When the Rain Stops. I’ll have to check out Commodity Rain.
Lovefest Burning Cherry not my thing. I get some cherry at the start but it dries down to a smoky campfire scent and I don’t like it on me. I was disappointed because all the influencers raved about it so I expected something a lot more deep juicy, not campfire. I’ll definitely stick to my Tom Ford Lost Cherry in spite of the high price, love it. Wind Flowers smells good on others but gave me a migraine so I had to wash it off. Thankfully I had a sample to try before buying. My body chemistry is too picky lol! I do love Paris Paris by Chanel and I did purchase it after I finished my sample.
I wore SJP's Lovely perfume today and got compliments from so many people. I find I get more compliments wearing inexpensive perfumes than I do when I wear expensive perfumes!😆
I mentioned this one at the end! I haven’t tried it yet but I’m planning to purchase it! I love the idea of alcohol free, sounds very interesting and I love J’Adore! Xx
