Thank you so much for posting this video! I went to Spokane during Summer and I had the best time!! I am heading there for two weeks in January. Would you recommend me any activities around there? Most of my friends will be busy during this time of the year, so I might hike alone for the first time. Do you know if Spokane has any hiking group or something like that? It’s going to be my first time hiking during Winter! 🤍🌲

Thank you so much for watching! Spokane In the winter is a completely different experience than in the summer. If it’s your first time hiking alone I would recommend sticking to some simpler more urban hikes. Riverside state park (that’s in this video) has some great hiking, as well as dishman hills. The iller creek trailhead also has a beautiful and very populated trailhead with a trail (stevens creek trail) that will take you to some gorgeous views of the countryside. Hit revel 77 for a sweet and warm chai tea after (or their coffee is lovely as well if that’s your speed). It will be super snowy, and the trails often get packed down with ice. You will most likely need microspikes, if you don’t have any you can grab a pair of yaktraks for about 20-30 dollars at REI!
