- You thought the swimming was over after bootcamp...think again. Here's a look at a US Navy sailor training for the second class swimming qualification which was mandatory for Assault Craft Unit One's raid forces. If you plan on working on small boats, helicopters or a variety of other jobs in the Navy then you will have to get qualified in more advanced swimming techniques, starting with successful completion of the second class swimming test. Thank you for watching. #navy #military #marines
They pulled a few of us aside to get this qual after we did the initial test in bootcamp in 2015. Never really thought anything of it other than getting a few minutes away from regular bootcamp stuff, but it's awesome watching others successfully get the qual from your standpoint. Thanks for the video.
I like this format Benny. You use both types of videos where you film the moment and the other format is narration with video. I like them both. Please make more of the narrative videos with stories. Civilians like the stories from the military especially when the underdog succeeds.
Copy that. I’ll make more.
Awesome video!
I hated this test. I couldn't float either. I was 6' and 180lbs.... But can't be a boat engineer without it, and I didn't want to be stuck on the ship when the small boats were running, plus now standing watch in port outside of US naval bases...
Awesome. Big up from Kenya.
Did my swim quals at Bangor sub base pool, fun stuff!
Nice
I just past my test 2 weeks ago. i failed the first time but got it the second time and it’s the same place I took it 😂
Muscle has nothing to do with staying on top of the water. Every swimmer at the Olympics is like 1% body fat. It’s being able to hold air, technique and body control.
Is Johnny also a QM?
