It would be great if they had a case to hold the Fresnel and the barn doors.
I just received mine and learned it does not fit Godox strobes. It's made for C.O.B lights and the flash bulb protrudes into rear element of F10. Oh well, had to try.
Tyler, you have 300ds too right? But the fresnel on one and tell me the difference in output. I have a theory that I can buy two of those and make my 300s even better for a modest upgrade.
I would advise against the f10 for the 300 series of lights if you’re looking for output. The size of the f10 is optimized for the larger chip on the 600d. You’ll get much more efficient output from the fresnel 2x on those lights 👍
@@TylerEdwards I really wanted to know this as well. I don't care about the efficency just how it looks, the fall off, how the beam is, the softness close to a subject.

Is there any way to slide a gel in there or will you have to clip it to the barn doors?
You’d want to clip it on. That would be the gel too close to the COB and melt the gel

such a good review, this light really does look like how the sunlight looks. you really need a bigger source area so it can travel through space vertically/perpendicularly, a small light source just evenly radiants throughout the space from the central source, the look is just different. and the power is important, 600 with fresnel is just enough to give you the exact reflected highlight, as you can see in the sample kitchen sink scene shot.
