@@lostmarbles2d hey just a suggestion you should make it where the marbles disappear if there doing absolutely nothing like green 2k marble it was there doing nothing for the entire end Edit: fixed some grammar mistakes
@@gamepire6649 Thanks for the suggestion! I'll consider doing that. Related question: when the match finishes, do you prefer to wait for the winner to finish taking all the territory, or if shots maybe stop spawning entirely so that you can see the map? I've been thinking about changing to the latter.
7:53 Me: roots for green Cobalt: Pops up with a seven-_thousand_ number ball Me: Oh CENSORED Green: Nah dont worry, my 40 mini little ball will stop him. Cobalt: Are you sure abou- _dies_
Suggestion: Have it so when a marble reaches another team's shooter, the number will drain the amount of shots instead of instantly killing them without a shield. _(What I mean by this is that when a marble does have a shield, the drain wont happen and the marble will be reflected.)_ With this in mind, lategame can be a concurrent thing to happen and can be very interesting to watch how big marbles drain through other marble's loaded shooters to actually get the kill. Example: Yellow Shooter has 182. Green Marble hits it with 60. Yellow stays alive, with 122 remaining.
Complete Green dominance this game. Cool to see the colour I picked dominate. The other colours did well too. Especially Purple trying to stop Green dominance with an attempted 7,000+ marble and Orange's last stand. Very entertaining video.
Love the burst idea, to bad every single freaking time any marble was about to hit burst on the right, it's corresponding color on the left went "Oh crap, we are about to hit burst, quick, hit release!" Didn't get a single instance of burst being hit while a higher number was ready. And purple being taken out right as they reached a 4k+ was painful, high numbers like that should be able to be a shield themselves. I was so hoping purple would hit burst with that 4k. Idea for you, keep the reflection quality, so ball impacts will divert the path still, but have small numbers reduce the large ball by the amount of the small ball, small ball gets sacrificed obviously. And if a number ball is physically bigger than the launcher, let it act as a shield. That way it's less likely to get wiped out right as they finally managed to get a large number.
Thanks for the idea! What the burst shot does is fire a barrage of the current starting number, starting with whatever is currently loaded. So most of the burst will always be the low starting numbers. I think I'll do that with the ball being active before launch, but combined with a larger base area so that it doesn't become too overpowered.
@@lostmarbles2d how about the amount it shoots decreases by a certain amount when it does a shot during the burst, so like if you had a ball with 1200 and you burst, the amount it shoots decreases slightly like 1200, 1125, 1050, 975, etc
The cheeky green ping at 2:22 was kind of hilarious. Like the shot gets ablated so far down that it turns into this tiny little energy pulse, plinks against the shield, and then a second later the shield flickers out.
I would say a Max charge is needed, maybe have that as one of the upgrades. start at 5% of the board size. go up by 5% per upgrade. Also, shield should reduce the attacker by 50%
i was so happy when at 6:33 green finally got 1 shield bro spent almost all his luck points on attack and 1 for defense Edit: near the end it reminded me of a boss battle in the tutorial
So interestingly busy was only good for kill shots and desperate defenses. You wanted as few bursts as possible so you could increase your ability to go exponential later on.
After watching a lot of territory wars videos I've been wondering what's the best way to bring them to a close since they seem to go on forever. After thinking a bit about your idea, I think it might just work!
You should make a marble race where green team has sentries, yellow team has multiply and release charge shot, blue team has multiply and release burst shot and orange team has upgrades
idea: multiply or release territory war, but release does nothing if that color already has a shot on the loose. in other words, each color has only one shot out at any given time UNLESS they get a burst.
Here's an idea I thought might be cool for an upgrade: what if one of the upgrades made a random grey orb on the left ignore your marbles? Basically an indirect multiplication/firing rate upgrade, with perhaps a row that can't be ignored to keep outcomes random.
Yep, those shields were highly underwhelming, they play no role at all unless your base is touched, but when that happens you are basically already too compromised. And if the enemy ball bounces around your base it drops to 0 in seconds
@@lostmarbles2d perhaps you could add an invisible trigger that covers the whole hole so that even if the marbles dont touch the upgrade box, they'll still get the upgrade, while also preserving the cool shape of the upgrade box
