and hell, i'd be with you if they really made kiryu do something drastic after finally getting to the big bad final boss - if he had killed him there after all we had seen from y0 onwards, it would have had a much bigger impact and tied the entire story of the dragon together... but now he's just the "man without a name" yet plenty of people still recognize him and his name.
@@we-must-live did you played from 0 to 6? because i dont understand your point. Yeah of course a story starts in one game and it ends in the same game, but i see it more like the arcs in a shonen manga. A shonen manga isnt written to be enjoyed by watching arcs separately, its like one big journey with the same or new characters, in one cohesive world. Just like Yakuza. You see Kiryu's development, daigo becoming a chairman, Saejima's development, Kamurocho changing a bit every game, years passing, haruka growing up... I mean... Haruka is good example of this, the best example.
This is my favorite fight in all Yakuza series.
every yakuza game made me cry at a moment... this is just so hard....that B**** Iwami !!
Demo Dude get your shit together
Dragon of Dadashov hard when you're a huge yakuza fan XD
Demo Dude looks like I’m not that hard of a fan than I thought
Dragon of Dadashov just wait til ya get the game and you'll become after you feel the whole story if this game specifically
Demo Dude I’ve beaten it already in 2016
When i reached this part of the game, I was shocked to see what was happening and to see Someya die like this....I just really cannot stand such sadistic, ruthless and scumbag people do this to everyone.....
14:17 When poor Someya died....i too lose it just like Kiryu....>:( that f@$!#€£& Iwami will PAY!!!
Man You can see through kiryu’s eyes that he instantly regretted defeating soyema
Iwami does not have Yakuza pride, he is always not a yakuza, he is just a baby
Heh, Kojima is one sadistic person
A lot of people actually compare him to Iwata.
On an unrelated note, man, screw Tsuneo!
Chris Chen It's the glasses that look like Kojima but overall his face really resembles Iwata.
Lol konami fires him and he goes crazy and tries to become yakuza 😂
Spoilers for Yakuza 7
Anyone else recognise this room when fighting towards Tendo?
It was remade as i see. Huge monitor and windows was replaced with large bookshelf.
Yep that was my first thought when I saw it. "This is where Kiryu fought Someya"
I thought the entire tower was the same as 6. I remember finding the same room Yuta got shot in so I think they made it the same
For sure, even Judgment.. the base level is the same as 7. Assets always get reused in series that take place in the same universe
they reused the mtower from 6 for 7
this is what tiers apart japanese story line character from occidental ones , this is not a clash between power and muscle . This is a battle between ideals and spirits , a battle between willings . Even if the yakuza series gameplay combat it is very simple and sometimes i could say lazy programmed , the character arc constructions give them another level of weight to these fights . Man the music it is so epic too with those fight cutcenes .
Takumi Someya (DESTINY).
*Why!?*
This wasn't how it was supposed to go, Someya...
Someya committed hara-kiri to protect the girl.
It's called Seppuku.
@@sezunemizuhana3870 commit hara-kiri
>Girl gets killed anyway
@@miragespl or did she?
Favourite track in the game
4:43 my favorite QTE sequence in the series
Destiny hits different man
14:18 oh shit, now they've done it
What Kiyomi said about him made me hate him. But honestly. Seeing what he did himself. It doesn't even look like he did what she said he did. I'm repeating words but I hope you get me.
I'm... at a loss for words.
14:20 that rage doe 🥶
The music syncs beautifully at the Quick Time Events, making this whole video hit even harder.
Someya deserved to live and become the seventh chairman
That QTE smooth as fk
Someya was my favourite in this series
Aw yeah, the best fight in the game.
one of the best fights iv had in this game
This was the best boss fight in the game. This is a fact, not an opinion 😈
I like that the objective just said
"Why"
Why this gameplay is more better than Yakuza 7
Shun oguri should be the main protagonist.
I remember him playing genji in crows zero movie. It was fucking awesome
I was just thinking about this boss fight. You know what pisses me off even more about this fight? That piece of shit smugly smiling on the tv screen lmaoooo
After nishiki now someya. Kiryu has a lot worse to goes on FUCKING deppresion
