    I was a 17 year old mother, his book helped me tremendously. I wanted to prove people wrong that I couldn’t be a good mother. Thank you ,Dr. Spock,
    my girls turned out great.

      Dr. Spock seems reasonable. If he is really the source of "modern-day wussiness" it's because people have misinterpreted his ideas.
      Encouraging children to get along and refusing buy props for fantasy violence does not lead to "wussiness".
