Big Z is the GOAT, but many of his records have been beaten.

Goat status has nothing to do with age. It's literally in the name. Being the greatest to ever do it. Haack has 2 WR and will own a handful more by the time he retires. Big Z has an argument for being the best "Strongman" and he owns Arnold's, but Haack or Yuri are the goat powerlifters. Z isn't even the best big man powerlifter.

Big Z's best at worlds was second where he squated 410kg in wraps(they were allowed back then) a 250kg bench (Haack has a bigger bench and is half the size of Z lol) and a 360kg deadie(Haack has 20kg+ more and again, half the size) how in the world is Z even compared to that? Haacks power 3 is better and is at the vest least 90kg smaller.
Please explain (with sound logic) how being the GOAT is more than being the strongest in a sport that is solely based on strength??? Does your age, time youve been competing, or fan base help you win a meet? I get what you are trying to say; however, John Haack is the GOAT. That doesnt take away from other great lifters or their accomplishments and someone else will come and break his records. As of right now, there has never been a stronger lifter lb for lb. Winning more meets doesnt make you the GOAT, this is not football. Lifting heavy is the name of the game, by weight class. No one has lifted more lb for lb than Haack. He is the GOAT.
This man is the definition of brute force , no super wide 2 inch off the floor sumo , no super arch bench and he has long arms btw and yet the numbers he put are absolutely insane!
And you can see how rounded is his l.back in DL, which means its pure strength, nobody can deal with that for too many years at top 1 and keep progressing.

No one is better. Lightest to ever total 2k and is only getting stronger. His total is more than 10x his bodyweight......none of the all time greats have him beat, not to mention he holds the raw world record at 198. Highest wilks of any man ever. John Haack is def the GOAT. His total is over 85 percent of the all time raw world record for SHW and he weighs less than 45 percent of that mans weight. Who is better? Who else totals 10x their bodyweight? very short list.......
@@cjjacobson5404 fucking preach. Yury is another stellar one to note, his deads are unreal, but even 5-10kgs smaller John's bench blows him away. Give Haack time to build up to that 220 range, he's gonna be more of a monster than he already is.

The fact that this man can keep his composure to well while doing some of the craziest lifts at his body weight is insane to me.
Best Criteria for establishing GOAT: Comparison of the GOAT candidate's lifts to that of their peer group (those competing at the same period of time). Using that approach nobody even comes close to the real all-time GOAT Ed Coan. John Hack is great and is the best lifter out there for now, but he is not the GOAT, not even close.

I keep hearing people say he is goat. They seem to have forgotten about ed coan who totalled 2403 at 220 lbs.
Totaled 2400 equipped not raw, he also failed 3 drug tests leading to a lifetime ban from the IPF. If youre gonna be considered that goat you have to pass drug test even if youre on gear like John
When haack eventually hits a 900 conventional deadlift, 600 bench @ 198. He'll be considered the goat without a doubt. Hell probably achieve that within the next 6 months.
