Great video. Would like to know on a GLK250 P2002FC code can come for faulty differencial pressure sensor.

What pins on the sensor did you measure across with the multimeter for 1K ohm vs 1Meg ohm? Was it 1 and 3? Thanks!

After you change the sensor you need to add the sensor to the ecu

If the connected tubes to differential pressure sensor damaged . Or the dpf soot accumulated . This gives same codes? Your decition of faulty diff pr sensor depends on what symptoms? . Thanks for sharing this information video

Thanks for watching again! :) They could give the same codes if the damaged tube results in the low pressure in the whichever (before or after the DPF) side of the tube and fake the ECU to think the soot is accumulated due to difference in the pressure between before and after the DPF. However, if we are looking directly into individual case, they may result in different codes. For example, P244A (low pressure) will be triggered if the tube is damaged because the pressure will leak through the damaged tube. Accumulated soot that is causing restriction in the filter will result in either P2463 or P242F (soot accumulation). Trouble codes shown in the beginning led us to look into the differential pressure sensor and when we checked the resistance of the sensor with a multi-meter, it was way out of specification.

@@ZenithDiagnosticScanTool Thanks for reply. I think code p242A indicate problem inTemp sensor3 wiring or soot buildup on gives abnormal reading can be checked by live data should be high Temp than s1&s2 to efficient catalytic converter. some workshop in my country delete dpf system from pcm when I checked T1. T2.T3 their readings 600C although cold coolant temperature.
Thanks for sharing dpf system problems Which I intrested.

This is helpful, do I need to do a regeneration every time you replace a sensor? I just replaced my Exhaust GasTemp Senor on a Mercedes glk 250 and I have a lot of white smoke coming out of the exhaust. I’m guessing from other info that I should just drive to regenerate it. Do you agree ?

Hello Dave! It is 'recommended' to do a regeneration after replacing a differential pressure sensor. Extreme amount of white smoke is not a good sign as you know.. It may be burning a lot of oil? Yes, you can drive to regenerate it. Driving on a highway is recommended as well!
