Hi Jimmy. I used to work in the trade but came out quite a few years ago. I understand the basic with diag but i need your help. Got C250 CDi on 2012 plate. Got three codes. P0402::00 P2263 :22 and P0236 :28. A previous garage have cleaned the EGR, replaced the Boost pressure sensor too. Not sure if they have reset EGR adaptions though. The car is being dropped off to me tomorrow to have a look at.

You've probably did loads of these but for the folks at home you can remove the bracket that the dpf sensor is mounted to with 3 bolts (all different lengths!) And get much easier access to the sensor. That merc looks like it has the wrong coolant, should be green.

Then itll do I'm guessing active regeneration I'll obvs let it finish but itll do it again next time I go out then again and often a 4th time ..is this likely my dpf sensor? Or that and a dpf clean like you did ? I have be careful with my model as fuel will dilute my oil I've already had lots of work done . I'm tempted to look at my dpf sensor tubes for carbon etc . That I can do no issues . It's frustrating me a lot . Cheers great video

What can you use, if you dont have dpf cleaning fluid. Can u clean with brake and clutch cleaner. Or some other product. I normally take out and steep in kerosine and then power wash out
I am glad I found this video as I can see you clearly know what you are doing. If I lived in the U.K., I would try to get you to do the job I have on a Mercedes ML350 Bluetec but since I live in the U.S. Is it OK to remove the DPF, use Wynns Off-Car DPF cleaner, and then spray it out with a water hose? I am hoping this will not damage my DPF and will get the car out of the limp mode. Your response is really appreciated.
Yes it's fine to do that. You can also get a latex glove and elastic band it over the exhaust tip the open a sensor and fill the DPF without removing it from the car.

Hi, I changed this sensor for service with the lambda sensor. The mechanic replaced 2 new pressure sensors because when the car has the engine off it indicates a value with - and it should be 0. He gave me the car and told me that if it still caused problems, the engine wiring could be damaged and would need to be resofted. I don't think the solution is resofting, the car has the original software and it works ok. The problem is that they always regenerate when they are in town and not outside. What would be the solution, thank you!

It is classed as off car because some people may try to use it incorrectly by putting in fuel etc. We use it like this it's so much less work and has given us no problems

Hi, after your very nice advice, I need to reset the computer to zero or more on the DPF, P2463 alarm, cleaned and the pressure sensor changed and blocked at 400%, my 2010 Mercedes E series Blue Motion 220 W212. The vehicle runs very well but the mattress turns limited to 3000 turns. I cannot initiate regeneration of the DPF due to the Mercedes dealer block with the 400%. Do you know what controler I need to do the job? Thank in advance.

Great . Hi, just bought an E class w212 2015 diesel and the engine light has come on after 5 days. When I contacted the seller he claims the DPF filter was making the light come on so it has been removed and the car programmed after with no DPF . Can you please help why the engine light has come back on. The car still drives ok. Again where in the Uk are you located as I am in London. Maybe, I may need your services.
It would need diagnostic inspection to determine what is at fault. If it's been remapped it can make it difficult to check some things. I'm in Biggleswade Bedfordshire

Hi, recently my w212 e200 alternator gone while driving on motorway. I took it to garage and replaced the new one. Back to home but then suddenly the engine light came on. My next door neighbour tried to clear the fault with his small reader but it keeps coming after two or three. Then I check the code it was P2463. Can you fix it and how much you charge for it. 2 litres of fluid. The autel takes you through the process usually 15-30 minutes if revs and driving

Brake cleaner is flammable so it's very dangerous to use such an amount in a hot area.

Is there any other fault codes with the car? Any fault can cause it not to regenerate.
