S8 truly deserved a lot of the criticism, just felt like a poorly written, mess with a few good scenes here and there. The actors of course are great though
Agreed. S8 was a let down. Still good by TV standards, but the weakest within the Walking Dead universe. S9 was much better. Still a fantastic show overall.
I'm sorry that Rick left, I'll miss him for sure but I'm with my Homie Boi *Daryl Dixon* yo I hope he lives until the end of The Walking Dead. I thought I will quit the show just because Rick left but nah, I still have people that keeps on.
This was an amazing portrayal of Norman. He's consistent in all interviews...makes me respect him even more. Andrew and Norman have always had me hooked in this show.
Andrew Lincoln needs to return to the Walking Dead. I'm unsure if the writers are using this as a ploy for fans to watch the Season 9 because they keep saying in the promo (on AMC), this is "Rick Grimes last episodes." Why keep saying this? Hmm? Anyhow, I hope Rick Grimes stays on the Walking Dead somehow. Not as a character dying but how his character gets lost, and goes into a coma and survives somehow, making us fans believe he's gone but he is not. I know the writers need to come up with something to fill in Andrew Lincoln's role but we as fans were there when the Walking Dead first came into our living rooms screens...and Rick Grimes became part of our lives. Mr. Andrew Lincoln was there in the beginning and needs to be there until the end of the Walking Dead. His performance made us want Rick Grimes to stay. I mean, he's the main character of the show regardless of what anyone says including the writers. Yes, it's an ensemble cast but Andrew is the man...let's not kid ourselves here. He made the show what it is. Yes, the writing was there at the beginning of the show, but that writing got lost somehow as the show went on. The fans were tired of how predictable the show became and it was never the same again. Anyhow, I hope Rick returns to TWD somehow...not as a vision but as someone who got lost in the world whether he was captured by enemies or fell into a coma, and returns in the end of the Walking Dead series.

But if he doesn't come back and they don't introduce the Whisperers then like I said I will be done with the show. For me season 7 was the weakest season of the show it was too slow with little events. Though I don't blame them they have to do it that way in order to make season 8 the best with "All out war". I don't want what was repeated in s7 in s9. I don't want too much talking/drama bullshit without anything good happening. The Whisperers can save the season and the show if it's done right period. Otherwise it will finally be the end of the Walking Dead. The first episode of the new season was good for one thing only "SPOILER ALERT" Gregory is finally dead. Trying to have Maggie killed was the last straw and I thank the heavens that he's finally gone in the beginning of the season showing a good possibility for it when it comes to the story telling. I haven't read the comics, but it seemed to me like Carl was the one telling the story and he was a key player in this story. It all started with the Grimes family, so losing all but one is messing up the story.
This entire show is based on a comic book with a very specific story line. And it was that story line that brought the people who only know the show here in the first place. But the fact that AMC has made so many bad decisions regarding that storyline, the directing of the episodes, and so forth is why so many people have lost the love they once had for it. Most of the people turning their backs knew the original story and wanted to see it played out on the TV. We were completely OK with the little changes to each story arch, adding Daryl's character, and even seeing his character become a main person on the show. But it's gotten to the point where nothing is what it started out as. Personally to me, even though I feel seasons 5 and 6 could've been better written, I still stuck with it just to follow the story I loved. But I gotta be honest, and this is where certain fans are gonna eat me up. JDM, IS NOT NEGAN! He's a great actor. I very much like him. But he wasn't the man to choose for the role. And now that his version of Negan has been thrown out there, the audience that knows nothing of the real Negan just accepts him as Negan. And that's just where it started for me. Killing Carl off, even though he's not my favorite actor told me that this show is no longer telling the great story I invested 8 years of my life into.. So what am I even eat watching now? What is this even about anymore? And now, to add insult to injury, Rick's leaving, in whatever fashion. Y'all can have this goddamn soap opera. I feel so bad for Robert Kirkman. Ya I'm sure he enjoys cashing those checks. But the story he wrote has become a joke, and though he may not show it I bet it kills him. I wonder how he feels when he shakes the hand of a fan that was there before the show, back when it was just comics. I wonder if he can even look them in the eye. Because I know that even he has to see why it is that we are so mad about all of this. The comics were good, but once it was brought to life on Tv, it gave the fans a more real picture. One with real faces and voices. How do you just forget 8 years of that and go back to reading the comics? God, just typing that out made it even more sad to think about...

5:38 characters like Eugene (I’ve started to like him in S9 & S10), Abraham, Ezekiel ( again, I like him more in S9 & S10), Juanita, Jerry, Beta, the old Negan and at times Alpha come across extremely corny to me. Sometimes it feels like you’re almost watching a parody or something. Whether it’s there mannerisms or a poorly timed joke really takes me out of it. I get it, some characters are just flat out weird but damn it sure does deflate an intense/emotional scene.
Negan and Eugene or Abraham are not corny at all but the others are. It's the writers' fault that they destroyed Negan's character from season 9 until the end.
P4INKiller , he never said anything about Rick being killed off! Yes he spoken a little about Rick's exit which everyone who's not living under a rock know about!
Well, I’m busy with my own life, hence I hadn’t heard some thing about some show. I wish I had the time to live under a rock and learn about TV shows. No need to be rude.
Can someone explain to me why everybody is spoiling Rick Grimes leaving the show? I didn't wanne know that. And who would? This could have been so shocking, but now you're just waiting for it. TWD has been shitty since season 6. They probably use this in an attempt to get their viewers back.
It was already spoiled and some news outlets reported on it, so instead of pretending nothing is wrong, AMC decided to confirm the rumors. Had they denied the rumors and said that Andrew Lincoln was NOT leaving, it would have been an even bigger blow in my opinion. From what I understand, it wasn't AMC themselves that leaked the info to the press that started the rumors.
@@HeathenMaiden But how and why was the information leaked?, and by whom?! It just seems like a dick move, and why would that have been an even bigger blow?, then there would be actual shock.
+HeathenMaiden: The only reason I know about it is because it was announced at comic con and after that it was basically in every video title that showed up in my box. TWD is one of those shows where you don't want spoilers. I watch the episode and that's it. I stay away from everything else, so I'm pissed that he press, but also the show, is pushing this in everybody their face and turned this into their promotion stunt. They also mentioned someone else leaving. I'm not gonne write who it in case some don't know about it. It just sucks. All of this.
How can you blame AMC for that? The so called fans and media outlets are the ones who are always trying to find out what is going to happen, even before they start shooting the episodes. And as soon as they get a sliver of information they post it. If the show had lied and said it wasn't true, when it was true, I can only imagine the **** storm it would have caused when it did happen. Somethings are not their fault and they just have to make it work.
This show is gonna be over RICK is dying. and Maggie is leaving like buh they're just ruining the fucking show I been watching this since day 1 it's so sad to see this shit
Carl's died people like sad&cry. Rick leave twd some people like oh the story getting worse and considered not gonna watch anymore but half of people think if rick dies well be like fuck yeah celebration. Negan dies people be like oh ma badass character finally dead. Daryl dies the show will fuck up deepest than above all these characters .
The show has turned in to a b-grade horror flick mixed with '70s Hawaii-5-0 music, Little House on the Prairie morality play with pick-your-choice mobster boss clashes. Daryl and Carol are the only ones still playing their instruments well as the rest of the Titanic goes down.
The beginning of the end was when they killed off Karl. The way they killed Karl off was ridiculous! Not believable. After everything he survived to get taken out by 3 walkers in the forest. I just don’t buy that. Then Not killing Negan. I don’t blame Andrew Lincoln for leaving the show. I found that to be terrible writing and it ruined the show for me. I literally have not watched it since Season 8 episode 8.
I agree. Carl’s death was just to sudden. I think something more happened, that caused the decision to kill him off, and having him bitten, was the easiest to do at the last minute.
i know this is kind of late but Rick doesn’t die he is not going to be part of the WHOLE season 9 but he WILL be the main star in future the walking dead movies. Like about three movies are coming out in 2019
I respect and hate the fact TWD kills off it's characters. In the real world I get it. Zombies eat people. But it's a show. If you kill off Norm from Cheers no one's going to the bar
I don't get all these people crying "I don't watch it anymore". I mean... why do you watch interviews then? Why keep posting on Twitter and Tumblr just to announce you don't watch it, because... Watch it or shut the fuck up about it *lol*.
Norman have more Muskel. He Train in Gym! Good. He Looks better Lincolns Job is to build a better World and not to leave the "The Walking Dead". This is not good for the human they look this Serious. We dont see for Gabriel, or Geoffrey, not for Diana or her sons. We look this, why Rick and his Family must have and found or build a new Home for self and for other. But not only for other. And than they go away, because a new Writer is coming. We are not so important to stay with us and Play the Role to ending the Serious. Have Fun with the Money. Lincoln let the Spectator in the lurch. The same, when you bring the Biter to your Group. This is what i feel, when i must see, that Lincoln leave the "The Walking Dead". It is only a Serious. It was giving other one. Actor please dont leave the Serious bevor the Story is ending. Ok Charlee Sheen was good he leave the Serious. But Rick Grimes/Lincoln. This is a NOgo. What is the Problem. Want Lincoln more Money, dont like the new Writer or Producer. This is Buiseness not a Kindergarden.
Mainly cause Angelia Kang? No Norman it's completely changed because of Andrew Lincoln leaving, they're trying to ease the blow but it's too much that walking dead is coming to an end
The episode that Rick dies is the final episode of The Walking Dead. This show obviously doesn't have any logic and has some of the worst writing in Tv history, but killing off Carl AND THEN RICK (The 2 main characters) is a whole new level of stupid.
I respect Reedus, Lincoln and all the actors on the show. However, I just can't watch it anymore. The writing and storylines have been going downhill since Season 6
the end is near, when rick dies so does the show. most of the fans will bail when rick dies. shows been dying the last few season so rick going is the final nail in the coffin.
I'm finna thinkin that Rick gets taken by those guys with helicopters to a new crew of thousands, with remenants of the old government an soldiers, who are tryna rebuild tha "Old America"(Fuck that 😁).At least that way he'll have a option to comeback in a couple years.
And people wonder why TWD is falling apart... definitely a female vibe has palled over the show. Once Rick gets killed off I am off to discover new shows and characters to obsess over. Maybe there is still a show out there that understands that men drive this genre and still cater to its audience...
Leon Carr I don't think any show should "cater" to it's audience. They have a vision and should stay true to it. Let the audience stay or go as they like through the life of the show.
@@leoncarr920 Ratings are in the crapper because Gimple drove the show straight into it! Also, a ton of fans quit the show after characters like Glenn and Carl were killed off. Holy crap! Is Gimple now part of that "feminine vibe that palled over the show"?! LMAO! I'm sorry to burst your tiny little bubble, but I don't think Kang has anything to do with Rick leaving the show. I thought Andrew Lincoln wanted to spend more time with his wife and family across the pond. Gee... I hope you don't also blame his wife for that too lol You seem to have a narrow worldview, man. Educate yourself. Maybe if you spent less time "obsessing" over shows...
@@SPVidal did you see lastnight's episode? The entire thing felt like a WTN movie of the week - the strong female characters were working to keep it all together and drive change while... let's see, 1. the two male leads had a hissy-fit "why don't you love me back" slap fight 2. a formally badass character was transformed into this nagging "why don't you ever stay at home and talk to me any more" whinner 3. Another male character previously filled with vigor and bravado was rewritten by Angela King to come across as this sniffling "I don't know how to safe the bridge... and I'm not smart enough... boo oooh" AFTER-THOUGHT of a character 4. A ruthless psycho has now been written as this needy "please talk to me or I won't eat my dinner" troll in the dark Look, I didn't invest in 8 seasons of a "zombie slasher series with a heavy influence of humanity and family" to put up with with crap. If they wanted to make a kinder-gentler TWD, they should have done a Seattle spinoff. After episode 5 I'll wait to binge the remainder of the season sometime next Spring /Summer so I can generously fast forward to the bits that still resemble the show (and comics) that I loved. Can someone explain to me why everybody is spoiling Rick Grimes leaving the show? I didn't wanne know that. And who would? This could have been so shocking, but now you're just waiting for it. TWD has been shitty since season 6. They probably use this in an attempt to get their viewers back.
I know, I agree...I'm annoyed I know about this now 🤨
It was already spoiled and some news outlets reported on it, so instead of pretending nothing is wrong, AMC decided to confirm the rumors. Had they denied the rumors and said that Andrew Lincoln was NOT leaving, it would have been an even bigger blow in my opinion. From what I understand, it wasn't AMC themselves that leaked the info to the press that started the rumors.
@@HeathenMaiden
But how and why was the information leaked?, and by whom?!
Rick isn't going to die watch and see
look at those poster on the back, michonne and daryll
and maggie
Daryl can smile !

@@Brodobyte i can't watch this with a straight face anymore
@okay-j the minute I saw your comment, it was over
@@Brodobyte lol respect bro
The interviewer was too giddy like a school girl, giggling ever second. 👋🏼
She's a human to you moron
Yeah, it was pretty bad.
Who wouldn't xD
This show is gonna be over RICK is dying. and Maggie is leaving like buh they're just ruining the fucking show I been watching this since day 1 it's so sad to see this shit
After Carl died Rick story is over.
I don't see how it is over when he still has Judith even though she is Shane's daughter. He carries her like his own blood.
ReduxStereo yeah no one wants to do that
Carl's died people like sad&cry. Rick leave twd some people like oh the story getting worse and considered not gonna watch anymore but half of people think if rick dies well be like fuck yeah celebration. Negan dies people be like oh ma badass character finally dead. Daryl dies the show will fuck up deepest than above all these characters .
@@Krisslim nope im not even watching anymore since rick left because he is a natural born leader and everyone else is going to be fucked without him
@@SireMoringstar i just feel like the show wont feel the same while hes not there
The way Norman talks is like rick doesn’t die 🤔🤔
I hope not. I wish they'd leave it open for Andrew to return one day if he chooses to.
Same with Jeff Dean Morgan
I'd be ok with Rick dying just to see Shane again
He isnt dying he is doing twd movies now
The show has turned in to a b-grade horror flick mixed with '70s Hawaii-5-0 music, Little House on the Prairie morality play with pick-your-choice mobster boss clashes. Daryl and Carol are the only ones still playing their instruments well as the rest of the Titanic goes down.
What the hell has Angela kang done, she’s killed me on the inside
The beginning of the end was when they killed off Karl. The way they killed Karl off was ridiculous! Not believable. After everything he survived to get taken out by 3 walkers in the forest. I just don’t buy that. Then Not killing Negan. I don’t blame Andrew Lincoln for leaving the show. I found that to be terrible writing and it ruined the show for me. I literally have not watched it since Season 8 episode 8.
the decision to let Negan live worked in the comic series but failed miserably on the show.
Like about three movies are coming out in 2019
Rick grimes hasn't gone, has he? Please bring him back at the end of the series.....
Rick Grimes leave, then I leave simple as that. They milking the show at this point.
"A new train, driven by women" explains a lot...
yeah explains why the show is better now than the s7&8 lol
I respect and hate the fact TWD kills off it's characters. In the real world I get it. Zombies eat people. But it's a show. If you kill off Norm from Cheers no one's going to the bar
I don't get all these people crying "I don't watch it anymore". I mean... why do you watch interviews then? Why keep posting on Twitter and Tumblr just to announce you don't watch it, because... Watch it or shut the fuck up about it *lol*.
I love me some Daryl
Did she just said zombie?
*Y o u k n o w*
i love Norman aka Daryl but Rick steals his play n charactor and Daryl also has justified his charactor in TWD.. i juz love them both...
Then don't watch. Simple.
Don't worry, I'm not
people like to say the same things, yet they click these videos and keep watching.
H Lam I feel the same way I really think they should do a full negan story start from the beginning and go all the way up to the point where Rick dies
@Nostrathomas - yeah, cuz me clicking on an interview is the same as watching the show?! Makes total sense bro.....
Daryl talks normal?!
the end is near, when rick dies so does the show. most of the fans will bail when rick dies. shows been dying the last few season so rick going is the final nail in the coffin.
Wow
I'm finna thinkin that Rick gets taken by those guys with helicopters to a new crew of thousands, with remenants of the old government an soldiers, who are tryna rebuild tha "Old America"(Fuck that 😁).At least that way he'll have a option to comeback in a couple years.
After rick Grimes who lead the team.
In season 4 walking dead died for me...
No season 6 season 5 was the best especially rick turning like shane
this lady did not know what she was talking about . she said cindy from oceanside when she meant connie and she’s not even from oceanside 😩💀
The writing has been shit for a couple of seasons now. They are milking the hell out of this cow. Proof? Fear the Walking Dead.
Why does the interviewer wear a tablecloth?
Season 9 is deplorable
No le entiendo nada 😕
Sheva should have eaten Negan. Would of been the best ending for him. But No they Stretched Negan out.. and it got less
interesting. Boring.
Smitten much? It’s cute though
uhm, spoiler, thanks
And people wonder why TWD is falling apart... definitely a female vibe has palled over the show. Once Rick gets killed off I am off to discover new shows and characters to obsess over. Maybe there is still a show out there that understands that men drive this genre and still cater to its audience...
Leon Carr I made a post about this on Reddit when Angela Kang was first announced and people just tore me a new one. But I was right
Leon Carr I don't think any show should "cater" to it's audience. They have a vision and should stay true to it. Let the audience stay or go as they like through the life of the show.
@@burrichgrrl57 And that's why ratings are in the crapper... good theory.
Gee... I hope you don't also blame his wife for that too lol
You seem to have a narrow worldview, man. Educate yourself. Maybe if you spent less time "obsessing" over shows...
@@SPVidal did you see lastnight's episode? The entire thing felt like a WTN movie of the week - the strong female characters were working to keep it all together and drive change while... let's see,
1. the two male leads had a hissy-fit "why don't you love me back" slap fight
2. a formally badass character was transformed into this nagging "why don't you ever stay at home and talk to me any more" whinner
3. Another male character previously filled with vigor and bravado was rewritten by Angela King to come across as this sniffling "I don't know how to safe the bridge... and I'm not smart enough... boo oooh" AFTER-THOUGHT of a character
4. A ruthless psycho has now been written as this needy "please talk to me or I won't eat my dinner" troll in the dark
Look, I didn't invest in 8 seasons of a "zombie slasher series with a heavy influence of humanity and family" to put up with with crap. If they wanted to make a kinder-gentler TWD, they should have done a Seattle spinoff. After episode 5 I'll wait to binge the remainder of the season sometime next Spring /Summer so I can generously fast forward to the bits that still resemble the show (and comics) that I loved. Bye TWD.
He always looks like he needs to shower 🙄
I am so sick of his greasy trailer park look. Try something else.
Now that he knows your feelings on his looks, I'm sure he'll run out and change his style for you.
Seriously? Dramatic much?
