You tube is pretty amazing. I was at this concert, I got my brother to record it on the radio. 'Ooh Gary Davies'. I wish I kept the tape, but seems I don't need it now. :-) Happy days.
Thank you for the upload. I went to one of these gigs. It was the night of Maradona's hand of God goal, I think. Think Jim was joking about the game. Maybe I have my dates and years mixed up.
Maradona's Hand of God gig was MK 1986 during the World Cup. My sister went to the gig and said it was amazing. So gutted as they were on fire back then. I was too young but went to the 1991 gig which is the same era as this recording. Book of Brilliant Things was better during the Once Upon A Time tour when it had the beautiful piano intro in my opinion. Easter of Easter is banging here though I would agree!

IMO far and away the best version of East at Easter - the solo section is just brutal. One of the most powerful things I've ever heard!

I'll say! This was from Milton Keynes Bowl 1991. Real Life Tour. They played Manchester Maine Road as well.
