I didn't want this video to be too long, so here is all my extra / developed tips I have to offer for highscoring, hollow woods and more. There are also extra tips not mentioned in the video thanks to comments. Note: Hollow woods done properly everyday can get you 140k shillings per month (considerably more if you are willing to grind). Its not all in the highscoring. HIGHSCORING: - As shown in this video, jump starts are not as effective as they used to be, meaning they don't launch you forwards. However, they do increase horses acceleration and can still boost you forwards almost a jumps length. So worth it. - Dont compete against players when unnecessary (you will only make the end goal harder) - Try to highscore whilst training horses from level 13/15 (this saved me so much time I cant even explain) - Utilise the ability to change servers, you dont have to be competing against hundreds of people every week! - Gen 2 horses with the gen 2 icelandic animations are very fast. Avoid shires, whinfells, larger scale horses of any generation. I personally think JWH are overrated for highscoring, but can give you boosts if done right (I find them way too clunky for my playstyle). Generation 3 ETBs are my personal favourite for highscoring. I have found the extra agility (turns faster) suits my play style. Avoid Gen 2 APHs, and Gen 2 arabian / pintabians - their jumps have been slowed following their years of champ domination. - Self explanatory but make sure you have max stat clothes. I dont like my horse having extra "Strength" stats in the saddlepads (other stats are optional). Ive found it can sometimes make the jump too effective, i opt for agility instead. - Start with the races no one cares about (crescent moon, dino valley, circus, red wood, mistfall paddock, all your excluded areas) so that way if you lose motivation youve at least got the easy ones in the bag. - BE PATIENT! Im the most inpatient person ever but I promise you, you will get it and it does take practice. The more you do it, the easier it becomes every week. Other people will give up before you too, if you are resillient HOLLOW WOODS: - Progression paths are so important, the more advanced you are in the progression paths the easier it is to make shillings. Invest! - Trapped satchels provide 110-250 light (shillings), so utilise crafting and craft garden powders to ensure that you can open these whenever you find them. - The rune glyphs are the fastest way that I have found. Again, craft garden powders! Do the highest difficulty, repeat until it wants 4 garden powders per go, and move onto the next location. There are 4 (I think maybe 5) rune glyph locations in total. My math is pretty shocking but I think youre looking at around 4k shillings per day if you do them. - Craft hay. Youre gonna think im crazy but hear me out. Crafting hay takes 5 seconds per go and gives you 5 shillings. I have 2000 flax in my inventory because its EVERYWHERE. While im playing a game on my phone I will craft hay (literally no focus on playing sso whatsoever) and earn so many shillings. And best part about it is you can put it away and save it for an event. I dont recommend doing this if youre intending to play star stable because it is so boring and a waste of time otherwise. Only do it while on your phone, scrolling through instagram whatever. Free money for no attention on star stable. - Plants give 5 light (shillings) per plant. Pick it up. - Dont run around hollow woods too frantically (one side to the other) otherwise you wont get any firefly clusters - There are 6 horses to stroke in Hollow Woods per day, which give a total of 250 shillings, add these into your route. - If you have a fully expanded garden, you can gain 1500 light just from retrieving all of the plants growing in your garden. You can do this multiple times per day! - FASTEST ROUTE FOR LAZY PEOPLE: Harvest and replant your garden, then do the rune glyphs FIRST, as they are located near enough on the 4 outer parts of hollow woods. You can stroke the horses while moving round base. You will earn 4k in 20 minutes. Then do the satchels if you have more free time - Minatozy and star stable adventures both have videos on their channels with all the locations to the day relevant to you. This is slower but will provide at least a futher 1k in light. - For your own sake, watch something while collecting light. I have made 30k shillings in light before today, all while minding my own business watching a film (Enough to cover almost a full set (if its not one of the ridiculous ones)) 🫶 As you can tell by my yapping, Hollow Woods is one of the hardest to do right, but when done right is up there with highscoring in terms of making money. If you dont want to highscore at all, you can still get yourself all of the event sets by stocking up on light in your wardrobe. Only difference with light to highscoring is that one is money in my mailbox, the other is money in my closet. It may take you a couple days to become fast enough at the hollow woods trail for it to rival the effectiveness of highscoring, but once you find a routine that you are comfortable with it is so worth it. CRAFTING DAILIES: - I Completely forgot to mention in the video, but there is a glitch (thats been happening for a while which i cant see being fixed any time soon because.. its star stable) which activates every single crafting daily possible, with every npc. And its all tradeable. Im not sure what causes this specifically, but i noticed it occuring after doing a couple of races, and most effectively after quests (I will look into this when I have time and update here) - Because of the glitch, I would do these first thing, that way as you move around the map you can passively do them without trailoring. Even if the glitch doesnt appear, its still a lot of shillings to be making every single day. Just see the glitch as an added bonus. A lottery, if you will. - Keep your trade icon active on your map at all times. CHAMPS AND CHORES: - Do these together, not seperate. Doing firgrove champ? Do firgrove chores. Dont trailer to a location to do the chores otherwise its not worth it. Therefore 1 champ = at least 290 shillings. - Keep your championship earnings in your mailbox if you want to use it for event. 200 shilling packages for placing outside of the top 3 stay in your mail until they need them, as do rosettes but you may move these to your closet if easier. - 200 shillings every 30 minutes for 3 minutes of your time is worth it. Dont be lazy thats for star coin users. I log on for 4 minutes then depart 💅 - BASED OFF PAST ITEMS shillings/star coins conversion, every 10 champs, assuming you place outside of the top 3 every time, will save you on average 20-40 star coins. Someone could pay me that tbh. EPONA ARCHAEOLOGY: - Suggested in the comment section, so I dont have an exact time/shillings conversion, but I can imagine this making a lot of money - Look out for extra interesting finds and trade these in for rewards - Rewards can be left in your inventory/closet for a future date if you wanted to target your shilling gains around events. STARSHINE RANCH: - Someone told me they left the chickens cause they didnt want to buy the chicken feed. Dont be silly. Buy the feed. Thats all I have to say.
Hi, if i move server, say from Coconut island, and move to Soda Night or whatever for the weekend, when i move back to Coconut, will all my high scores on the leaderboard be gone?
Dressage gives you so much shillings and once u get used to it, it's not too hard. The path of terra, once you have unlocked everything, gardening gives you over 1,500 light for just collecting your plants. You get extra for crafting too. You can also flax farm and turn it into hay which gives you shillings + plus the light for collection. Even if you do that every day for a week, you make 1,500 X 7 which is a crazy amount for shillings for just 5mins of daily work.
My personal routine for shillings would be these as often as possible: - Pick flowers in the garden (planted flowers are always bee balm, camomile, flax. In that order to earn maximum light) - After replanting the garden, light and seeds are traded for shillings. - Always pick the flowers you see, and always pass through leaf piles when you see them in order to collect more light and seeds for trading. - Collect all 5 saddlebags with light everyday - Do all 5 rune stones everyday - Do the archeology in Epona everyday (only the gold stones, and then trade in) - Participate in champs as often as possible and let the reward sit in your mailbox as a bank account, then you can take shillings from there when needed. - same with high score racing - Collect light and put in your wardrobe for later use - Do druid training everyday or as often as possible, they give a lot of shillings. - Every Friday, do the quests at Silverglade Manor, some give 70 shillings each. - Every Thursday, do quest with Steve at Steve's farm - Fishing quests give 70-150 shillings everyday - Fara's quests - The animals at Starshine Ranch I'm of course not perfect, but I do these as often as I can. I always save up shillings for big updates such as Halloween and Christmas. Never ever will I spend Star Coins on clothing! 😉 Thank you for this video!
@@kissekott Thank you so much for this comment!! Its so nice seeing what works for other people and I will definitely be taking some of this into consideration for my own routine! Will have to add some of these tips into my pinned comment now, thank you 💕
When I actively play, I do this: - dailies: Monday in Valedale, Tuesday in Firgrove, Wednesday in Pinta, et cetera - crafting - deliveries from the Sunfield farm when they are available - passively collecting bottles for Big Bonny - and of course taking part in champs When I'm really collecting shillings, additionally: - I do the stable tasks in Golden - I do the stable tasks and the race at New Hillcrest Stable
One thing that could potentially make u up to 7000sh A DAY (if ur lucky) is the extra interesting finds in epona. Just turn them in to the person (idk their name) and then sell the rewards. Or! Dont turn them in and save them until u wanna buy something. Honestly one of the best ways to gain shillings with only spending like 10 mins a day on it.
I havent touched archaeology since it came out in like what... 2016? 😭 so I had NO idea this was a thing. Thank you so so much for this comment, I will add it to the pinned comment!! ❤
@@Adxcent150 no problem! I literally just bought like all the medieval stuff by just this method alone so it’s VERY OP. I’ll probably also try ur method of doing high-score races now too!
Hey i wanted to ask a few (a lot acually) questions. You dont need to answer them, the most important ones are the first 3. 1- Which races do you mostly highscore? Like which ones are the most forgotten by other players. 2- Which horse do you use for highscoring? 3- how often do you highscore? Like every day? Every friday for the week? 4- how long/how many takes does it usually take you to make an highscore? Like at what time do you start trying or do you egt it first try always? 5- which tack do you mostly use for highscoring aka do you have specific tack/an "outfit" you wear often when highscoring? This video is kinda old already so im not sure you'll see this but i definitely hope you do!
The races that are further out from the active areas are the races most dont go to, like Golden Leaf, Mistfall ect! If you try at Steve's from example, you have a smaller chance since most players will do the races in that area!
I know I answered this comment on a different video, but since people are liking this comment too Ill leave my answer below this one incase anyone has the same questions! 1- I highscore everything, but most people forget about Crescent Moon, Redwood Point, Jorvik Rangers Paddock (Mistfall), Dino Valley, Circus, and the Observatory race. All of these are kinda out of the way. The circus race can only be highscored through the highscoring boards and not daily races so most dont bother! 2- I personally use the English Thoroughbred Gen 3 for best of the months or races that have particularly harder results, but that is just what works for me personally. Most people claim that the Jorvik Wild Horse is the fastest breed in the game, but that just doesnt suit my play style. Too clunky for me and the jump puts me off. Gen 2 Icelandic is also a good pick! 3- I only actively try to highscore best of the weeks and months, never days really. I highscore for weekly results every Saturday evening/Sunday evening, and for months on the last 3 days of the month or so to give myself a bit more time. 4- Im on Soda Night UK04(?) which is suuuuper quiet, so it doesn't usually take me many attempts and I can usually just highscore while training a horse from level 13-15. By that logic, it would take me 3 hours or so to highscore everything. Sometimes someone will set a super challenging score though. For best of the months I've sat there for like 40 minutes on one race before today. But then, once you've put that 40 minute practice session in, you're then that much better at the race for the future months highscore if that makes sense, and then it becomes that much easier. 5- I honestly just wear pretty clothes as long as its max stats. However, if a score is super hard to beat - Durable saddle, Jarlaheim Blanket, and the Matte and Dark Western Bridle is an undefeated combo. That has different stats distribution to the other max stat tack. I really hope this helps! 💕
I may have another tip! I do archeology every day ( the one in epona ) and then i sell it. (I finished the repu so yeahh) I trade the special items with the dude. I get so much jorvik shillings from this, usually about 500 to 2500 jorvik shillings.
@@Adxcent150 haven't unlocked that yet🫣 started playing sso again like a month ago😆 so I still have a LOT to unlock and grind. And al my horses are maxed so It's not a prioritie to get that unlocked XD trying to get as many lights as easy as possible for now
@@Pluis_04 I definitely recommend getting the paths fully maxed out! You can gain light infinitely faster when everything is levelled, and will make getting shillings in the future so much easer.
Hi, I discovered your videos today, and they're absolutely stunning. I have once again fallen inlove with ReShade, and I think I'm gonna get it for sso, but it seems like there's a lot of problems with it at the moment and I can't find any recent videos anywhere addressing how to go about that. So I'm resorting to asking you, what reshade version do you use? And have you done anything with it to make it work? Thank you in advance if you feel like sharing! :)
Thank you!! There was problems not too long ago but as far as I am aware everything is currently working as it is supposed to. I just use the most recent up to date version that you can find at the very bottom of the homepage of the website reshade.me . Make sure that you download the version with full add on support, otherwise your shaders will flash on and off and be pretty unusable. You will get a warning that says this version shouldn't be used in online games and it may result in a ban, but it is game dependent and Star Stable have not only reassured players that they will not be banned, but have promoted the use of it also, so don't panic! If you need help with installing it then this video should cover everything ruclips.net/video/WDpTQf296aQ/видео.html , you shouldn't need to venture into the 4.4 bit. Hope this helps!! 💕
it's a shame that i can't achieve the records, because there are a lot of cheaters who make it to the leaderboard without even achieving 1-second records 😭
@@Adxcent150 On one in particular polish server - emerald forest , therer tons of cheaters and the only races that are not cheated in any way are orientation races. I cant realy change server bc of club meetings, and like u said in video - i will not be gettin my reward if i change server
@@bugi0n3tka62 Would you not try changing server on a Sunday? Im on Uk server Soda Night for general play, highscores, all that jazz - my club is based over on Unicorn Forest. As long as you move back to the server that you set the highscores on on a Sunday night before the reset, you should be okay! It may be that you could try setting a couple earlier week and moving just while the reset happens on a Sunday? You can change servers every 30 minutes 💕

They NEED better ways to earn shillings without spending 1 million hours on SSO everyday, because I don’t have the time to go on even for an hour every single day.
All of this is linked to the hollow woods progression paths! At 6:05 specifically that is a feature from the Path of Runeology. I made how to videos on this near the start of my channel if you scroll x
I know right! I had max shillings and got a top from fort pinta that I've been wanting for awhile it made me go down to 2.5k and can't do anything with that
Hiii, log into your account on the website and click on the little pencil icon next to your server under the account section that should automatically be at the top left. It will then show you all of the servers in your region - the ones at the bottom are usually the ones that are the newest and therefore the quietest. Hope this helps!
3:40 isn't that kinda cheaty though? 4:52 ''when you do it every day''... me getting burnt out on the game just thinking about it XD 9:40 me who thought that doing a race in canter the first time will allow me to see each short cut... one more high scoring tip: some of the races are rarely done by people (mostly because it requires more effort than other races). such as xin's butterfly race in the circus (because doing it regularly doesnt give a high score, only if you click on the sign for a high score race), pony race, icelandic race, the mistfall races NW of dundull (not at the ranger station, the other ones). there are quite some of those races which, sometimes when I check in the evening literally no one has done it yet that day, so I can run it without my horse and still get a high score XD
I’m level 24 and I heard the castes you can be is up till 25 I think. So sometimes with high scores races I can’t be faster then I’m going sadly. So I try to do most of the high score races everyday to earn 300js per day because weekly and monthly is mostly not possible to me! But I would love to see your high scoring route like, what horses to use, best tack points and maybe some races with shortcuts? If you are put to that idea!☺️🤩

I get so much jorvik shillings from this, usually about 500 to 2500 jorvik shillings.
omg i've never thought of that!
So helpful hello??? I absolutely hate grinding currencies in games but yours doesn't make me so bored!
Collecting plants is a blessing for me. 5 lights per plant. Win win situation
And the horse XP is so good 👀
@@Adxcent150 haven't unlocked that yet🫣 started playing sso again like a month ago😆 so I still have a LOT to unlock and grind.
@@Adxcent150 thanks! It's quite the job but a gold mine of shillings in the end
OH MY GOD I HAVE BEEN WAITING SO LONG FOR THIS
I hope it didn't disappoint 🤗
Loveee ur channel keep it up girlyy!!
Thank you! ❤
thank you so much ❤
it's a shame that i can't achieve the records, because there are a lot of cheaters who make it to the leaderboard without even achieving 1-second records 😭
I saw this over on my night star account, but only on the best evers on 1 or 2 races. Cant be all?
@@Adxcent150 Oh yes, I can try this , I thought that no matter when you change the server, the records will reset, but if I go back to the server where I made my records and they remain i can sure try it, tysm !!!

They NEED better ways to earn shillings without spending 1 million hours on SSO everyday, because I don’t have the time to go on even for an hour every single day.
Is there a quest I have todo for the firefly? Also for this one 6:05 what do I have todo to get this?
All of this is linked to the hollow woods progression paths! At 6:05 specifically that is a feature from the Path of Runeology. I made how to videos on this near the start of my channel if you scroll x
What computer do you use?
i wish there wasn’t a limit for how much shillings youncan have at once… i can only afford one thing with the max :,)
I know right! I had max shillings and got a top from fort pinta that I've been wanting for awhile it made me go down to 2.5k and can't do anything with that
completely unrelated, what reshade settings or preset are you using?
Sorry for the late response!! This is Blossom by Kelia Eastdawn, you can find it here ko-fi.com/s/3227e1483d
omg the bridle is so cute, wheres it from ?
Star shine ranch! 💕
Hiii i really love your horse do you mind telling me wich horse it is? x
Tennessee Walker, you can buy them at Firgrove I believe
@@Adxcent150 and do you Also know what Shaders you use by any chance? Sorry for asking so much but the schaders are just Amazing 💕
What are some less bussy servers?
Newer servers are usually the more quiet ones. These are usually the servers at the end of the list when you go to change
Hi Adxcent I have a question how do you find small servers?
Hiii, log into your account on the website and click on the little pencil icon next to your server under the account section that should automatically be at the top left. It will then show you all of the servers in your region - the ones at the bottom are usually the ones that are the newest and therefore the quietest. Hope this helps!
what reshade shader you useing?

3:40 isn't that kinda cheaty though?
4:52 ''when you do it every day''... me getting burnt out on the game just thinking about it XD
9:40 me who thought that doing a race in canter the first time will allow me to see each short cut...
one more high scoring tip: some of the races are rarely done by people (mostly because it requires more effort than other races). such as xin's butterfly race in the circus (because doing it regularly doesnt give a high score, only if you click on the sign for a high score race), pony race, icelandic race, the mistfall races NW of dundull (not at the ranger station, the other ones). there are quite some of those races which, sometimes when I check in the evening literally no one has done it yet that day, so I can run it without my horse and still get a high score XD
Yippee!!!!!!
4:59 since when do piles of leaves give you flowers ? 😮
Its a perk in the Path of Terra! 💕
What preset is that?! It's beautiful!

Thats a really good idea!! I already have my next couple of videos planned, but ill definitely put it on the list for the future! ♡
@@Adxcent150 oh nice! I’m looking forward to the videos you have planned for us already ☺️ I think I can bet that one will be “being the whole Halloween event with Jorvik shillings” 😏😉
WHATS THE NAME OF YOUR HORSE PLEASE??!!
@@AmyLituma tennessee walker!
@Thank you so much🫶
isnt there a limit on schillings?
That is why you don't sell the light right away! Store it in your wardrobe every 10k, and sell each to buy event stuff :D
Not recommended to skip over the high scoring stuff? You know how DIFFICULT it is to high score? Every time I race I get 15th+ place and the few times I’ve won it was cause there were like 2 other people 😅 And racing and high scoring is SO INCREDIBLY STRESSFUL. I have no idea how you put up with it
That is why I have tried to give as many useful tips as I can, both in the video and in the comments hahaha - It's only not recommended because of the terms of the videos title. You can earn just as much if you put the time and effort in by using the hollow woods methods in the pinned comment if highscoring really isnt for you
can i get some.if.it dont.work am.new and need coins to buy a horse
you need star coins for horses, which you can get via codes and buying it through the app x
@@us3rchar ik but i serchedit up and it did not pip up what it look like?
I thought the max was 10,000
It is, but shillings earned from highscoring/champs you can store away for later use by keeping in your mailbox, light in your closet etc.
@@Adxcent150 ohh
