Shopping at unique pencil shop in Manhattan’s Lower East Side in New York City.
Thanks for watching! Please know that this video was not sponsored, all products were purchased with my own money and all opinions are my own.
During the holiday season I love to stroll down the streets of lower Manhatthan. During one of my walks last year I came upon this little gem of a shop that warms my heart and I fell in love with it right away. I've been back many times since. This is the kind of charming independent shop that is unfortunately becoming less common these days and that I make a point in supporting whenever I can. They sell all kinds of pencils (graphite, colored, charcoal, watercolor) and many analog accessories that are very unique and are sourced from around the world. I hope you enjoy your window shopping trip with me!

A bittersweet video, looking back now, after CW Pencils has decided to close. Still, the beauty they shared with us was not in vain. Thank you for sharing this video!

I always go at least once to this neighborhood every time I'm in NY, and I never noticed it. Thank you for this post!

I love their instagram , It's cool to see almost my language in another country video , I speak brazilian portuguese.
I think they could put maybe more 2 pencils and a eraser, at least one erase for sure.
    Good week

Well, um , how do I put it? This whole store concept was a bad idea. How on earth did they expect to make money from it in the 00s, or whenever they opened it. I know the people working at the store are/were enthusiastic and all. But a cute and cool idea isn’t what makes a business survive. Could it have been that the person who opened this store had plenty of money and just wanted to fulfill a dream which they one wasn’t going to make money? If so, then it is unfair to the store employees who may have worked somewhere better at a business that wasn’t going to shut down.

I know. It's sad. I've been to other stores like this that look like they are still thriving. Maybe it's the location or maybe COVID didn't help.
