I'm so glad you did this video Ksenia! Your mum seems like she's getting well again and for Dima, it may be slow going, but the Datcha is coming along nicely now. Food to sell and eat, relax in and enjoy your cat! Special!!
Nice! But wouldn't it be lovely for the ducks if they could swim in the pond and not being couped up in that small space all the time? No offense! Just an animal friendly thought! Have a great time!
What a lovely place. And I'm, once again, impressed with your brother's skills. That welding job in the external shower was very neatly done. And all the rest of the works he is planning... He is a true renaissance man ! He can do anything. You and your mom must be very proud of him. Please give him my respects.
Also, I'm glad to see your mom is enjoying the garden. I hope she's finally doing well now.
Enjoy your vacation!
I love your dacha videos ❣️. Please do show us the end products of that huge garden 🍅🧅🥕🥔
Wow. Lots of changes. Your brother has been working very hard. Thank you for the update.
Your brother is a very creative man. It was nice to see your mom and yourself. The garden and place looks nice. Take care! ❤
Your family's property is lovely. Thank you for giving us an update.
The garden looks great K! So much variety. Good for your brother for working so hard.
Your family's summer home is very nice. Loved the upgrades your brother made.
Ksenia, you look and sound happy in this video, and that warms my heart! You are a treasure!
Thank you so much!
Hello
Thank you for sharing. You are such a beautiful soul.
Hello Ksenia,
As soon as I started watching this video, I noticed immediately how much more relaxed and at peace you look being at your family datcha.. You are so pretty Ksenia ! 💐 it is good that you have this place to go to get some fresn air, and be more connected to nature, and enjoy the greenery from Dima's & your Mother's vegetable garden. It was nice to see your mom outside enjoying the fruits of all of her labors in the garden and with the ducks . What pleasure that must bring her and Dima.. I am so impressed with what I have seen on RUclips in regatd to the datcha gardens that Russian families are able to grow. I ttried growing a small garden last year in my backyard and by the time the growing season was over my water bill was so expensive that it would have been less money to just buy the vegetables rather than grow them myself. Your are lucky to have a pond and can use that water on your garden. I love the outdoor shower Dima built, he does very nice work. How does he fill the water tank ? Is the pond naturally fed water from an underground spring or did Dima create it himself?
Sending you peace, joy, and love from Salt Lake City, Utah, USA
I am quite impressed with your brother's talent and hard work. He is such a good man to help his family. It was nice to see your Mom enjoying tea with you. I hope she is feeling better now. Your garden looks so healthy. I bet you have a good harvest of potatoes this year. Take care and please say hello to your mom and brother.
Nice to see you again Xenia in very good mood and good summer vacation with you mother Tatiana and your brother in the summer house Xenia, nice again with a quest tour of the family garden and summer house Xenia 🏠 ☕🥔🥕🍏🍐🍓🐓🐔🦃🐕🌻⚘🤗😊😉
Someone there is a true craftsman. The metal work is impressive and the construction is creative. The shower is rather 'open'... do you notice many drones in the area when you are in the shower? :)
Plumbing... this b is silent (like Cyrillic b). Pronounced plum-ing. Crazy English.
It's so nice to meet you on the dacha Ksenia enjoying your summer vacation! Your brother Dima is a handy man and the updates on the dacha looks great and will make the house even more suitable for living year around in it eventually. The vegetable garden and the ducks will provide a good amount of food for your family too. Best of luck and greetings to you and your family from me in Sweden.👋🥰👍
This dacha looks so nice and it is going to be wonderful! Your brother has made a lot of renovations since last year. It is really a peaceful place where to spend fantastic days, especially for you mom! I think that your brother did a great job. I love the shower!. Thank you so much Ksenia for this nice video. Take care.
Great video! Thanks for sharing.
Most wonderful...so fortunate to have food growing...
Love ♥️ from the U.S.A.
It looks like Dima has been busy.
I love your datcha vlogs! The garden is very impressive. The land must be very fertile. Dima is a very multi talented man. Is he married? You will have all you need from that lovely plot of land: Vegetables, fruit trees, eggs, duck meat and a pond to relax by! Heavenly!
Sadly, Belarus received about 70% of the radionucleotides from chernobyl, some of which are still in the ground today, like stronium and caesium so all their food is radioactive as well as the dairy and the water. This is why so many of her family members had cancer and some were working at Chernobyl.. the cancer rate and birth defect rate is very high in Belarus.
Looks very cozy there. Your brother has some good skills. Nice work.
Very pretty area. One can tell much has been done already.😊❤
A nice dacha A lot of good work and the garden is very nice ❤
BEAUTIFUL, BIG DACHA 😍
It's neat to see the changes, thank you for sharing!
Ksenia, you're so positive!
A drawback in time about, I think that place is cozy. Your brother seems for a handyman, not judging at all. Here in Finland building materials have very high cost, unluckily for me I am not a handyman and the work is even more expensive at here. Thank you for sharing, ma'am.
Love BEAUTIFUL Motia!!!!!
Dima's obviously a handy guy to have around - the dacha is looking good. Maybe put a handrail up on the steps to the entrance - they'll be icy in the winter. BTW: It's pronounced "plumming" not "plumBing" 🙂 Same as with climbing, bombing, lambing, combing.
Very thoughtful new outdoor structures to make the place more enjoyable!
Thanks for sharing your home with us ❤ lovely to see you again
Insulation is the weather proofing word.
Pipes and plumbing especially.
So ingenious and so very clever
Thank you! Yes, my brother wants this house to be suitable for living all year round.
Beware Wagner stealing your ducks for dinner.,
I'd advise holding off on posting about sanctions for the next while. The economy there is in a bad position so there may be a push back against discussion. More so people with power just lashing out as it leaves them.
I dont think the war will end soon. I think that enough Russians support it so the suffering will get worse.
Very nice! Thanks for showing a Belarus dacha. Greetings from New Jersey USA.
He needs a Pinterest profile to sell these showers..perfectly rustic
Wow your brother has done so much work. I would pass on the outdoor shower though. Because it doesn't have a door and the walls don't go to the floor.😂
It's a great summer home , one thing your wrong about is building supplies are not more affordable else where ...especially in Canada right now a 2 by 4 is a luxury item these days .
Hi Ksenia! Thank you for sharing this update on your family's dacha.
Your brother, Dima, is a resourceful handyman. I especially like the outdoor shower he built. 👍🏽👍🏽
Greetings from Southern California! 🙋🏽♂
I only speak English, so I am not judging. Your English is great! But it is cute to hear you say “plumbing”. The”b” is silent. I always enjoy your videos, Ksenia! Thank you!!
the duck pens are using the most appropriate technology to achieve the objective: "don't let the duck get away"
Always interesting to hear and see something of your world Xenia. Thanks. Be well!
❤😊
Good looking vegetable garden, I'm not sure exactly where this is but I was looking and Toronto Canada is slightly warmer than Minsk, so not exactly a tropical paradise, lol
How will you add the plumbing for running water? Will you have to dig a well? Or is there something like municipal water pipes nearby that you can connect to?
Your content is very good and you are forcing me to subscribe 🤷♂😂.
In spite of what the head of your country is doing, keep giving us videos of everything life in Russia and of yours personally.
Ducks and geese are fun to raise. If you get them very young they imprint on you and follow you everywhere. Chickens are okay. The part I hated was the butchering. The smell of raw fowl meat.
seems like these datcha's are just houses built from junk in the suburbs on small pieces of land where everyone wants to play farming. Why not just build a proper house/cottage or buy a prefab or just park a trailer. for toilet i'd install a septic tank. For water either dig a well or add a water tower. I don't know about the duck thing and roughing it, just buy meat and barbque.
Do you know about some company's in St Petersburg where its safe for a 29 years old girl to work without risking that they cheat here of the sallary etc, just name some company's you know that is safe to apply for if you know about some :)
So cool! Is the dacha in a big city or far away from any big cities? :)
I love your kitty.
Thanks for the video. Love the ducks!
Beautiful cat ...it looks like a lovely peaceful place .
Thanks!
Thank you!
Looks like your brother is very good with fixing things. It looks like it is a very big project that will take years to complete. Does the cat like to chase the ducks? In Los Angeles people buy houses then have them demolished and build a new house in its place for several million dollars
Your brother is great at repurposing things.
Your brother is very talented!
Great Update! Outside Toilet in the US we call them an "Outhouse" because, well, it's outside... I live in an 1890-1915 farmhouse in Washington State US, we do the same thing with projects, when we get money, we do them, Budget, Budget, Budget. Lots of great progress on the Dacha! My house was built before insulation, but it has exterior walls and interior walls with a 6 inch air space, in 1995 I had insulation blown into the airspace, it did a little, but then in 2019 I found "foam board" it's a building insulation that comes in 4 foot X 8 Foot sheets 2 inches thick, I covered the exterior of the North and West sides with this. I am saving over a $1,000 a year in heating costs! It doesn't look very good, but I can't afford it to look nice and cost more to heat. Again great update!
self sufficient in Belarus
Hello :)
Very cool place 👍❤
Do you ever eat rabbit?
The "pathway" in the pond word an English speaking person would use is "dock"
to explain it further it's where you would "dock" your boat. Platform would be another word that would work (sort of).
👍🇺🇸
✌🙏
❤😊👍
We miss you Ksenia!
Oh.
I am back!
Privet, you speak English very well! The walkway in the
pond is called a "dock". Dima did nice work on all of the projects!😊
I love the idea of country living and the dacha/gardening! Khvala Bogu for all the progress, I hope Dima can finish before winter!
A dock or a deck. Either word will work.
You are a beautiful lady with a nice family. The dacha is going to look better in later years. Good luck to you from Michigan, U.S.A.
Can we donate $$ to help Dima renovate the house?
Excellent! Most Americans dream of having a “small farm” in the country! Russians seem to all have this and that is a very secure situation to enjoy!
Love your families dutcha. Will your mom and him move permanently to the dutcha once it is finished? I really hope you are able to move back home some day.
Interesting that your mom chose ducks for meat. I raise chickens. Thank you for the update. I always enjoy seeing dachas and the gardens. P.s. Dima is hired to help me on my place! He's a very good handy person!
Dima is doing many nice improvements… good thinking.
Great video! I would love to have space for a big garden like that. I like how your family works together and spends time together at your summer house. Your brother is amazing for being able to fix the house up.
Is Belarus better than Russia?
We haven't heard from you in a while. Are you well? And, are you safe? All the best - Kirk.
I am well indeed, but a little bit without energy.
Thank you for the new video, Ksenia. How is your mother's health? I know she was undergoing treatments a while back. That is really a beautiful outdoor shower! Very nice. When you turn a 3 season home into a year-round home, we call it "winterizing." The process of winterizing walls is called "insulating". I think your progress is excellent, and people should not judge. Many people take years to complete renovations on their primary homes, too. Their camps can take a long time, too. "Camp" is the equivalent word for dacha for many Americans. Do you save money raising your own meat ducks? Some people do that in the US but chicken and duck in the store is so inexpensive that it often doesn't save any money. Of course, it's nice to know that the meat you eat is raised humanely too.
My mom is well now. She sees her doctor every 3 months. Raising poulrty is not cheaper then buying meat at stores, because much money goes for duck food ets. But my mom knows that no antibiotics were used, and meat is more natural.
I will be happy when you finally relocate, however I don't see much progress...
Hi Knesia! Your family is so lucky to own a dacha like that. I love the ducks, they are so cute. It is a good idea to have them for meat and also eggs you can use for so many meals. It is always lovely to see you in a video ❤
Thanks for showing us your very nice place♥️😍
That's a great place Ksenia! Dims is doing a great job!!!
Some great improvements there. Your brother is very clever with the shower and the gazebo, the duck houses and vegetable gardens. Well done 💯💯💯👍👍👍
I’ve gotta say, your brother should consider his own RUclips channel. Is there anything he isn’t able to fix or build?
Your family has done much work at the Dacha. Everything is looking very nice. Thanks for the update and hoping to see future ones as well.
I WANT TO VISIT..P URFECT URGENT SUMMER..I WOULD LOVE IT..I MISS THE SIMPLE LIFE SO HAPPY
Dima is doing well !
I hope your Mums health is improving x
I love your mom's ducks and their homes! Y'alls dacha is amazing. Your brother is very talented in building items. Such amazing vegetables 😊
Thanks for your home and life.
Hi Xenia , your brother put a lot of work there but the cement steps of the porch could be very dangerous, especially during icy winters. Where is this dacha located ? My mom spent some time north-west of Minsk, so I am curious about the country.
thank you for showing your family dacha!❤
Fantastic! What a lot of work has been done. Your brother is obviously very skilled. And of course it is expensive to renovate a whole house and to winterize it. Don't feel you have to explain things -- the work being done on this house is tremendous. A lot of HARD work, and very expensive. I love seeing the progress. I think he has done a spectacular job so far, and your mom's garden is wonderful! This type of work, inside and out, is very hard and takes a long time. Good for him, for doing such a great job!
Insulation is the word you are looking for I think.😄
Thanks for sharing. Dima has made good progress.
You can or a solar fountain / pumping water 💧 up like a fountain to help keep the pond clean and free of algae. I think you can research it online .
Mota is a seriously cool cat! 👍🇮🇪🍻🐱🐈👍
Your brother is very resourceful
The land looks very nice.
I like your videos, love from India
Always interesting
