It was awesome seeing Tony drive the model of the first car! I cannot believe it runs. In fact it runs well. Tony's expressions were priceless as he roared around the building. Of course the latest model Mercedes Benz was gorgeous and his chaperone was fun. I would love to drive those cars.
12:10 Gottlieb Daimler was the Stuttgart guy... whereas Carl Benz came from Mannheim. Arriving in Stuttgart and saying that's where Carl Benz invented the motor car might really annoy the locals...
It looks like he doesn’t have hotel charges and in the train he is not shown in a sleeper car. And through Europe, he can get a rail pass for a week or month which may be a reason why he went across Europe at lightening speed
Ah, yes, once I got my first whiffs of Gitanes and Gauloises in 1970s Paris train stations, you could blindfold me and I would know exactly where I was. Smelled them in a local working men's coffee shop in Montreal during the same era. Unmistakable, once experienced, that pungent odor imprints itself in your nose, and you never forget it!!
It's probably too far off the beaten path, at least on a long route like this one, even though it would probably be more interesting because those incredible landscapes in Scandinavia haven't been shown nearly as often. It's one of my big bucket list things
The shtick about sitting in a Paris cafe is hilarious--how to kiss cheeks and how to sit without looking at each other--funny stuff...I howled....dts/usa

Tony is the most endearing little hobbit of a human and he gets the BEST gigs.
Traveling by train through Europe is undoubtedly the best way to explore this amazing continent 🍒🍒🍒🍒
The Rubik's cube on the way to Hungary is perfection.
That woman in the pink car was like patsy from absolutely fabulous
I love this collection of videos
2 of my favorite things Tony & Trains. Super thanks!
Great trip! Great trains! Great video!
❤❤❤ I absolutely have fallen in love w/this adorable man ❤❤❤

That was great, nice job!
If I had Tony's money I would book me a train trip.

Tony reminds me of that classic British actor Eric Blore 😂😂
Well done! Thank you for your enjoyable work. Please continue. Aloha
Utterly charming. Loved every minute.
Glad you enjoyed it!
I'm getting ideas...I live in Europe though at the very far end, Cyprus, and I love trains...plus I have all the time in the world ...❤
I love the turkish fisher talking to you in German at 35:30
2 Stops in Germany, but none in Austria (Vienna). Thats just weird.
That Turkish fisherman with glasses spoke German to the Brit😂
The automobil or car was invented by Carl Benz in Mannheim not in Stuttgart! 😂
you killed that fish!... hahahahaha
Thanks Baldrick
'La Bis" has faded in France, particularly northern France, in the last decade. Increasingly, younger people only do it with family and close friends.
There is a really good Porche museum in Stuttgart. At least there was way back in 1998. I would love to go there again.
Oh I love that Julie Calliard (sp?). She is fantastic.

According to the state of the Stuttgart train station this video is ancient.
Love the Turkish man speaking German. :)
Nice one.
I’d go anywhere with Tony❤
A lot of this surprised me, like the kissing map in Paris and the nudists in the park in Munich. 😮
Is this guy Baldric from Black Adder?
So lernen man sich auf der Medizin.................!
Europe in a whirlwind. NO! Take the standard trains as much as possible. Best way to appreciate Europe. The high speeds are just blurs.
Beer makes me hoppy... government beer does not.
Hungarians would like people to say Budapesht ! Cos that's how they say it. ❤

Pig's ear is an Irish/Scottish dish.
Spanish too. Very popular in Madrid.
And when Black and Brown did it in on the equator, they were called Savages.
